I guess this is céline’s default font now.. they have been using that font since 2013.

I hink this is the default font only for the English products, they use Sackers for french since 2007 like D'elles and Encore un Soir

But in LMBTL is used Neutra Text and in Courage, Neutra Text Alt.

I get a weird feeling about this theme. Like wanna speak on Céline's behalf and say "...too soon!". But Céline has accepted it an recoreded it though...

 

BTW I guess we've never ever gotten so much story behind an ENG Céline Dion song :giggle: Maybe MHWGO and Recovering comes close. And oh yea…. Ashes.... how could I forget those what now 18 minutes?

 

 

at 8:38 she starts talking about Celine

 

- when she writes for others she tries to put herself in their shoes emotionally.

- the song she wrote for Celine was inspired by pictures she saw of her holding the hand of a new man (Pepe lol) and talking with her fiance about what it'd be like if he died and she'd have to find the courage to move on or find someone new.

- Celine didn't ask her for a song, she just sent it to her.

I went to a tourist shop in QC the day after opening night and found a bunch of 80's Celine vinyls. I bought the 1981 Christmas one and it's my first time listening to the songs. Crazy it was only sold for 15 CAD!
Did the store have a vinyl of hers hanging from the window? Just asking as I went to go to a store and one of her 80's vinyls was hanging in the window. Store was closed though.

So by what date should we have the Courage memorial?

 

Rumors are increasing about Adele releasing her album on Nov 8 and a new single could drop next Friday.

I just have to make peace with it if it's true. If it's true, I hope that the albums feed into each other's success.

 

And I just hope Celine gets the #1 album she deserves.

 

I don't care about Adele. Don't get me wrong she's a great singer with awesome songs but i always tought she was overrated. That's what i feel ... i only care about Celine's new album.

I very much like Adele.

 

But I’d rather her album come out later so that Celine has a real shot at #1 on the charts again.

Same as songs like I Know What Love Is, I Remember LA, Nothing Broken But My Heart and another dozens of great songs that she has never/barely performed live, but yet are excellent tracks in her discography you mean? Sorry but nobody needs the approval of other fans or the song to be a "fan favourite" in order to be recognised as a good song by others ;) And if you need the approval of other fans so as to have your song as "good", then you have a problema sorry :(

You did not understand a single thing I said. And you put words in my mouth. Old habits die hard. :down:

 

My point is that none of her songs/albums are on a pedestal. So yes, people might like or dislike CFTF. Or any other song. And I never spoke about quality nor approval. :crazy:

You specifically included the “fan favorite” quote to add basis to your point of a song being “better” than others, or deserving the honour to be performed live or not. As if songs that are not “fan favourites” wouldn’t deserve the chance to be performed live or couldn’t be good and great tracks too! In this case, CFTF was barely performed live during the TCWT, yes, but as you see, that doesn’t mean many fans love it (as quite several here agreed and posted they like this song too after my post on the song).

 

Ah, the need of you to twist and deviate what was said all the time in order to have the last word... some habits will never change around here, indeed! :P

For the moment if those rumores are true and Adele will drop album by surprise

next month it will be really sucks, though albums by veteran artists

on the charts of Billboard seem not to have long "shelf life"

no matter how amazing the album might be. So the buzz

will be around a week and bye.

Beyoncé did it, and sold over 600,000 copies in the US alone upon first week of release.

A local radio station here actually announced this morning her album would be out Nov 8th. And the single is possibly to be out this Friday. I can't find anything official on her site, etc. but I doubt a radio DJ would announce it live if there wasn't a shred of truth to it. I guess we have our answer.....

Ok, let's say Adele releases her album on Nov. 8. With Celine's concert bundle she can certainly get a #1 album the week after. Not many albums stay in the top spot longer than a week, and mainly in November when the competition is stiff. All the labels release their biggest albums in November.

I was not comparing songs. As I said, you did not understand a single thing. And I never spoke about whether a song deserves to be performed live or not. :wtf: Like NEVER did I say anything like that. What the hell? Are you unable to read? All my points are consistent with what I said earlier. CFTF does not have any characteristics that could potentially put it on a pedestal, and that could justify reactions like yours. So do not react when people simply say they like or dislike something? Cause this is all I said. And you had to express disbelief. :wtf: I repeat: it is not as if I critiqued an important milestone of her career.

 

And I did not twist any words. Never have. Never will. Unlike you. And tons of people have picked that up here. :yes:
