Ok, let's say Adele releases her album on Nov. 8. With Celine's concert bundle she can certainly get a #1 album the week after. Not many albums stay in the top spot longer than a week, and mainly in November when the competition is stiff. All the labels release their biggest albums in November.

I think Adele's last album sold more than 1 million in US on its 2nd week. In the courage deluxe version we have a song 'The Hard way', could be about getting #1 in competition with Adele Anyway, I hope it's false about 8th november, I don't get Sony in this case

They could have make them record a duet together in that case. So it would make more sense to release both their albums more or less simultaneously

I guess this is céline’s default font now.. they have been using that font since 2013.

 

I wish they didn't use it for this album. That font belongs to LMBTL and I'm so sick of it. It's overstayed it's welcome to say the least.

 

Why wouldn't they use a new font for the new album? Seems lazy to me, honestly.

The problem is that last time she released an album, in 2015, she sold only in the US 3.5M 1st week, 1.1M 2nd and 700k 3rd week, and most of them were physical sales, so, even if Céline benefits from the tour bundle, it would be very difficult to compete against those BIG numbers. I'm not talking about quality or which one is best, but numbers speak for themselves. I remember even some artists changed the release date when they found out Adele was releasing an album. Let's see what happens this time if it's true she's dropping an album on Nov 8.

Sure her last album did amazing, but now that she is well known she will probably sell like crazy the first week and drop the second week. Let's see. Unless there is a duet planned between the two.

I was not comparing songs. As I said, you did not understand a single thing. And I never spoke about whether a song deserves to be performed live or not. Like NEVER did I say anything like that. What the hell? Are you unable to read? All my points are consistent with what I said earlier. CFTF does not have any characteristics that could potentially put it on a pedestal, and that could justify reactions like yours. So do not react when people simply say they like or dislike something? Cause this is all I said. And you had to express disbelief. I repeat: it is not as if I critiqued an important milestone of her career.

Why is it so hard to grasp the concept that one might not like CFTF? It is not an important song in her catalog, she has barely performed it live, its total views on YT are below 1m, it is not known as fan favorite, and IMO it is been-there-done-that both musically and lyrically. Like a mix of Your Light and I'm Alive, albeit more bombastic. And also dated. Βut f*** my opinion. The other things I mentioned are facts. And collectively they matter. I mean... It is not as if I critiqued a unanimously acclaimed milestone of her career.

I absolutely agree. I can't get what the hell is the LMBTL font doing again here for this album. They've been using this font since 2013 for Vegas posters and ads too. What's wrong with this people, that they're unable to find a new font for the marketing and promotion of this album?

Well Adele being younger and with younger fans, I'm sure her streaming numbers won't be problematic as it will be for Celine. That's why we need to stream the album even if we buy it.

The FACT that the song is rarely performed, has few views on YouTube, and is not known as fan favorite ARE COLLECTIVE REASONS WHY it is not a milestone of her recording career. And based on that, I cannot understand why such a reaction. For the third time. IT IS NOT AS IF I CRITIQUED A MILESTONE OF HER CAREER. None of the criteria above stand as reasons why I dislike it. This is an assumption you made out of your #ss. Because as I said you are a moron. Who cannot read.

 

The PERSONAL reasons why I dislike the song is down to it being been-there-done-that both musically and lyrically. And this has nothing to do with the criteria outlined above. Simple as. Definitely would've been an easy #1 if they released Celine's album in October.

It's a WONDERFUL thing that Celine's album will have the big boost of the bundle sales from her tour.
