What about the ANDHC era? Do you have a problem with that? Because I never saw anybody criticising me for liking an album or a particular year of Celine's career, only you and your friends seem to have a problem here too. Resentment again? Double standards? Shame.

You still cannot understand! I explained this again and again! I never based my taste on YouTube views or performances! My comment was not about my taste! It was about showing that CFTF, irrespective of taste, is not a milestone in her career. Thereby, it is not on a pedestal. So people can like it. Or dislike it. You did not have to react to this. I have explained this 3 times already! I do not know what else to do.

No, your inability to understand what is an opinion and be able to deal with a REPLY and another opinion is your problem, and your own inability.

 

So because a song is not on a "pedestal", because it has not been performed live or has not many views on YT, people can dislike it. OR like it. Without needing all that futile arguments you exposed. THAT IS what you don't understand I don't care if you were talking about your own opinion or the general tastes of people: fans don't need to rely on YT views or live performances in order to LOVE a song!

If this is really the same song, then I think we have a killer album to look forward to. This sound is mature, and exactly the kind of songwriting she’s been in short supply of for the past few albums.

 

I am going to stock up on Kleenex before I listen to the album, as I feel like it’s going to be an emotional rollercoaster.

I've NEVER ridiculed her career using an album or an era. Because I say and opine one album or era was her best TO ME and also loved by other millions of people out there, that doesn't mean I'm ridiculing the rest of her career. Because I didn't like what came with Vegas and her forced isolation from the world and music business during all those years, that doesn't mean I'm ridiculing all the great songs and albums that came with it. Before, during and after 2002.

 

Please don't be so oversensitive and learn to interpret an opinion Don't say things I've never done because it's quite unfair.

 

Yet, if that's the vision you have of my posts for loving one particular album or era, I'm sad you didn't get the message across. It wasn't done to ridicule anything at all, that's your own sole opinion and I believe it only steams from the resentment you and your friends have against me. Either when I praise something, or when I dislike another, it's useless, I can never win with you when you have such amount of resentment against me.

Oh wow Interesting, I never found anybody saying this from all the nice people I've met during the Celine shows I attended! Nor had anyone directly saying they're leaving a forum because of me! On the contrary, the few times I decided to stop posting here, I had quite a bunch of fans asking me to come back!! Not that it's important, because most of her fans are not in this forum, they don't even know its existence.

He lies in most posts. And twists words. He has indeed said ANDHC was the peak of her career. And he has put the album on the same level as her block-busters FIY, LTAL, ATW.

I’m so excited for this album to be released. I don’t care if Adele is releasing the week before. I appreciate Adele’s talent but I can’t listen to an entire album of her singing about pain and heartbreak. That’s just me.

 

My heart goes out to Celine for getting through last night’s show. I’m sure part of her nervousness/fear is that it makes it so obvious which songs she lips. She could barely get out the opening of TPOL and then all of a sudden she’s belting the crap out of it. People are going to wisen up. Source? Celine's own interviews during 2016, 2017 and 2018, when she exactly said "my new English album, to be released sometime during 2017, then late 2018, then Spring 20XX"... I don't know the exact interviews, moments and years when she said that but we ALL know this, when she has been asked about the new English album and she replied vague information but said "this year" or "later this year", either announcing it "sometime" at the end of one year, then it was Spring next year, and so...

Couldn't it actually be that it was Sony who wanted to have the perfect album for Celine so they have waited to have the right songs? Couldn't it be that they have been chasing songwriters and producers to deliver quality if what they had on their hands in 2018 wasn't good enough?

 

As someone already said, we all know what is the common denominator in all arguments. You are on a Celine Dion forum, so you need to understand there are more of us with positive/excellent opinion about her that tend to see the positive. That doesn't mean we are blind if we don't always share your negativity. What I find sad is that if there is a negative comment about her or her team you are the first one to like that negative comment. On the other hand I never see you liking comments of people amazed how fast the tickets are selling in Europe (just an example). So that's why is it sometimes hard for me to understand you actually like Celine at all.

What problem do you have with that? What problem could actually anybody have with other fan saying this because he/she likes an album so much? Nobody in their sanity could understand the bad or wrong in this, only you, full of a hard, poisonous and terrible resentment

I think javitos actions speak for themselves when he hadnt posted once in weeks in arguably the busiest thread (the tour thread) and then all of a sudden, posts, omg! I wonder what it could be!? Oh yeah; an article basically sh*tting all over Celines tour and the Ottawa shows specifically.
