Omg.. this is Definitely going to be my favourite album.

 

Imperfections I can tell I will be listening to on repeat on my way to work...

 

Courage is just.. so simple and so powerful. I almost never get emotional from songs, but god that one got to the tear ducts. It’s so grand and straightforward, so your attention goes straight to the lilt at the end of the verses, or the complexity of tones in the simple siren word of Courage, and the way her voice damn near breaks in the bridge... ohgod.

Woooow! So beautiful! 3 songs in one day! Take that all those complaining about the strategy, that we would have nothing before the tour...

 

I really like the vibe of Imperfections! So chill...

Lying Down: Amazed by the productions, the instrumentals, the vocals, the chorus. Instant hit... I won't take it Lying Doooown!! Those strings!

Courage: Beautifuuuul!! Pure emotions! I don't like that much how she sings Courage don't you dare fail me now, but the rest is GOLD!!

 

Thanks Celine!!! Can't wait for tonight, but we have 3 new songs to burn throughout the day! And we still have 16 more songs to listen, a full album! I would have never imagined this era would have started so so good. And the visuals we have seen so far are stunning!

Clever choices of songs to release -- Imperfections has such modern, contemporary production, Lying Down is a classic Celine power ballad with some edge (production and vocals feel a bit muddled/busy to me, but I may just need a few more listens), and Courage is a quintessential Celine tearjerker. They showcase a good bit of variety, while all still feeling pretty true to Celine and where she is in her life. Loving the vulnerability on Courage. I'm definitely intrigued to see what else is in store with the album.

I really like how she has introduced those little breaths in Courage to express so much emotion. It reminds me of Lara Fabian's perfect control of it. Incredible! And the 'cause it's not eaaasy' part... so delicate!

I must say that I'm disappointed with Lying Down. The synch between her lead vocal and Sias background vocals in the refrains ist totally out of synch apart from the very last part of the song. It sounds bad, like a total demo after the first verse. Edited by ryba

I still can’t believe we’re getting 20 tracks!!! And we will probably get maybe one released every 2 weeks or so leading up to album launch maybe..

Omg!!! Courage is a great ballade!

Love all 3 songs!

 

Still waiting for a song with a huge powerful high note à-la-All By Myself.... hopefully there will be at least one in the 16 remaining song....

 

 

Only listening through Spotify couldn’t find anything on iTunes US
