Why are people honestly never happy. This album cover is one word: glorious. It fits the theme of the songs we’ve heard and i just cant wait for the new songs, and also to see how she delivers them on stage

To me it's not good news, I was hoping for coherence for once. But maybe there is a bindind over all feel to the album anyways. Fingers crossed!

 

 

 

 

Yes that means it's a varied album with lots of different music styles/sounds! But not all Celine albums have been like this, definitely. So to me, this is good news!

Ha!!! Who said it was gonna be called (Play Me Like A) Love Song? And who mocked me for it? Was it you Davey? ��

 

Those are just the "rumored" tracks listed on Genius. No confirmation that they will end up on the album.

No, not just fomo. We’ve heard Play Me Like A Love Song and Lying Down, both have a darker more dramatic theme, so that fits better then a picture from a spring clearing

And more especially yes the cover indeed looks like a screen shot from a video clip and that's why it's so brilliant. First as someone said, it's one of her less photoshopped picture, even the hair are not that perfect and just a bit messy, then the raw aspect of the focus etc... It's all made on purpose and gives this road movie (à la Drive) feeling like she comes from a mysterious ride and is ready to kill it.

 

All seems perfectly executed, the details to give this raw, movie aspect is just amazing.

Celine Dion was not an "eclectic" album precisely, nor was Falling Into You... And remember ANDHC had lots of different music styles and sound effects and yet it's her most cohesive work to date in the opinion of many fans (not just me!).

 

It surprises me the vast amount of people that has worked in this album, that can be either good or a disaster, but we won't be able to judge until we have heard the whole album and given it a few plays...

I usually wait to listen until the album drops but since I am seeing the show Friday and Saturday I am throwing that idea out the window. Bring on these new songs.

It is not a good news for sure, we will have the old Celine, the new one, and weird things in between. There will be a song for everyone, hello artistry killer.

Well, If the songs are less cheesy, dated and over produced than A new day has come well it can still be ok. Let's hope for another formula after the courage storm (Like EP with only one composer, writter...).

 

When we see the list of composer, it already looks like Celine next to Carine Roitfeld. We now have Celine next to Lauv and so many other arty and surprising composer. So yes whatever the results she is totally adopting the same curiosity avant garde and surprises as for her fashion renaissance.

Yeah, it's very noir / David Lynch in a way and is actually an interesting photograph to think about rather than just a pretty picture ... what is burning? Did she start the fire? Is that her old life, and now she's starting over? Why is she looking down? Her dress seems slightly disheveled ... why?

I just hope 'Lying down' is the single...It's such a catchy anthem number that would work really well with a great video.

 

The suspence is so hard, I'll have to wait til I get home after 10pm to hear them though unless someone uploads on youtube...I hope everyone here shares there thoughts on the songs when they finally hear them please

Like, no please try to be just a bit honest.

You have a real devotion to A new day has come, you think it's her best material so far, with her last hits and remembered songs, you also seem to enjoy this kind of patchwork albums. Good ok. But don't say that it is a cohesive work or that people think that's it's one of her most cohesive work, this is musically not true and never heard about fans arguing that it is a cohesive album and especially from the ANDHC lovers. On the contrary they praise this album because it is ecclectic.

Wow! I just realized something from the list of songwriters...It says 'LP' she was the lady who wrote and sang that great song 'Lost On You' very edgy... And I remember Celine saying in an interview that she really liked her a few months ago and wanted to work with her, seems she got her wish, I am so excited for this album! Just hope Linda Perry and Dianne Warren are on it too

 

20 songs!! Soooo happy, I was worried it was only going to be 12, the wait will be worth it, i really feel it
