We haven't had an all-new English era for 12 years. 20 songs?! That's insane! Lying Down sounds great. A teensie bit underwhelming compared to my expectations from Carpool Karaoke, but I still love it. You can tell Sia is doing background vocals. Courage is stunning from 2:15 forward (especially the very last chorus), she sounds absolutely incredible. Overall the song is much better than I was thinking it would be, it's quite beautiful. Imperfections sounds super modern! Wow, very contemporary for her. It's a tiny bit repetitive, but I like the song a lot so it isn't distracting necessarily. I love how she sounds. She uses her lower register most of it and I think she sounds amazing. I'd compare this to a person who's been wandering the desert for 6 years and has been strung along with just drops of water here and there; enough to keep you alive, but never satisfied completely. This album is the oasis. We are absolutely thirsty for new Celine music and this album and tour will quench that thirst like it hasn't been quenched in quite some time. I'm so happy!!
