I am fine as long as it is not Courage. It is a good song, just like GTSW. But they are not single material at all.

 

Imperfections and Lying Down are both cool and modern.

The songs are amazing. It's a complete range of emotion! Lying Down somehow got this 80's vibe but the production is so modern, I love it!

Of course, Courage made me cry... reminiscing of René but also speaking to anyone who's been through a loss. It's way better than Recovering in my opinion.

 

I still can't believe we got those 3 wonderful songs at once!!! Can't wait for the full thing! 58 days to go!

Not being able to listen to it on good speakers, as I am not at home now, I just listened to the songs. My favorite is definately Lying down. Great epic production. I need to see the lyrics though because i cannot Always exactly hear what she is singing. But it is a great song, for sure.

Imperfections sounds like an album closer. Laid back music, modern. Courage is a great ballad and here i do hear every word she sings!

Oh Gods, Courage 😭 It makes me cry every time. It's so --- real. I really like the other two too, but for me Courage is the Star.

All three songs... the production is immaculate. Lying Down is powerful, Courage is vulnerable, and Imperfections is refreshing. And she looks drop dead gorgeous in all of those photos. I cannot wait for the full album. :wub:

I must say that I'm disappointed with Lying Down. The synch between her lead vocal and Sias background vocals in the refrains ist totally out of synch apart from the very last part of the song. It sounds bad, like a total demo after the first verse.

I was scared Lying Down would be too Sia but it really isn’t. It’s so Céline. That power. It makes me smile when it probably shouldn’t. We are fans of the greatest woman on the planet. I’m glad she’s the boss now cos she’s doing pretty good.
