It's always harder for singers who don't write their own material to find an authentic artistic direction. She's at the mercy of songs and other people's experiences...I for one want to be taken on a journey with this album.

I don't have to be the Oracle of Dephi to predict this so here we go:

 

1. The first single will come out right after the start of the tour. The music video will be a live one from the first nights.

 

It will probably be Courage. They play it safe by releasing what everyone expects (and are quite tired of) hearing from her - a ballad. The Balladians will be quite happy (but will it contain enough power notes?!) and the Javitoans too since it's from Moccio and predicts a ANDHC-era part two. The song will probably be very good and superbly produced. It will take a while for the promomtion to reach the general public. And given it's a ballad and probably too safe the general public wont look at it twice and oh here comes the Christmas season and the lifespan on the single is over before it began.

 

 

2. The second single will come out in the beginning of next year.

 

It will probably be Lying Down. It will be accompanied with a lyric video, that's it. It will be mentioned a lot that it's from Guetta in the hope that that will make the single fly up on the charts, But given that it's probably what we've heard which seems like something taken straight from TC album in 2007 there will be no interest in it whatsoever. Since it adds nothing to the world's discography there in the beginning of 2020 the single will die out by its own.

 

 

3. They give up on the album and totally kills it by releasing another oh so nessesary (?!!) best of compilation for concert goers to buy.

 

The team is baffled! "We did a music video for the first single" (?) "We released a Guetta track. Guetta!!" They don't get it. Everywhere Céline shows up she's praised to the skies fashion wise. Why isn't it enough just to show up with some new music (whatever it sounds like)? Why doesn't it go viral by its own. She showed up! Oh maybe the general public isn't that interested in new music from her. Besides it was probably too daring. No Guetta next time. What to do? We must sell some things? I know! A "best of" to go hand in hand with the tour. Et voila! The fans will moan and be sad that another chance for her to be recognized music wise (and hopefully evovle when it comes to music) went out the window. The question is of course, what Sony thinks might work for her,

Celine favorite music style for the moment, the messages she wants to deliver

and her perception as for to what her fans might connect too.

 

Although choosing (2-3) Sia songs for this album I want to believe there will be something extra,

different and interesting lyrics and melodics.

I think she contradicts herself and that's maybe why we don't have info on the album.

 

She says that the album is fun but then she lets her team figure out what to put on it among the songs she recorded. How can it be fun if she doesn't know which songs will be chosen?

My guess is that they don't know yet the tracklist beside the songs they selected for sure ( "courage").

 

But in the meantime , other big names are dropping their album by the end of the year ( adele, Rihanna, etc...) and we don't have a clue either on them.

She hit the big notes, got the awards, sold the albums, set records with all sorts of sales, performances etc etc. So she’s done it. Not many artists in the world reach her level. Her dream, Rene’s dream. 30 years of the same formula. But she’s driven and wants to always be the best and push herself- so I just feel she’s done with music. As in, the whole ‘nothing to prove’ that she keeps saying ie. she really can’t be arsed/it doesn’t challenge or excite her in the same way. So she’s doing ballet, dressing up in studded chokers, walking the streets of Paris in a bathing suit and heels and Paris Hilton t shirts because that’s what she wants to test herself and have fun with. I don’t doubt she’s recorded this album and given her best and enjoyed it and she loves to get a new song. But I don’t think they are chasing hits and going to surprise us with a strategy where she is number one for 13 weeks again...it would be wonderful if they did, but I just don’t see it. I kinda of agree... I see so many fans on here trying to make her number one and having a hit again, but never asked what she really wants... I have heard her say she never was of the awards and such... Off course it is nice to be validated and I would love for her to shut up all the critics and make her the all time best for ever... But I think that a lot of fans feel she has been underappreciated in the past when compared to Whitney and Mariah especially and you still want to show people and prove that she is a queen. But the question is what does she want... Cause you can have your list of demands from your artist but she is at legend status 51 still singing brilliantly... and with a type of career she has had she is finally enjoying her time and enjoying life doing what she likes... I dont think that her goal is to have a number one album or hits she is doing this cause she still enjoys it and for her fans...So again before making judgement on her team and their strategies... Find out what her goal is and she is a queen which you as a fan need to be proud of thats all.

She once said that in an interview that she walked up the stairs and reached the peak at very young age and now she is taking her steps down slowly.

 

Unlike lots of artist out there need to step up the stairs in their career, when Celine was young... She already at the top... So now she live the reverse lifestyle and slowly walk down n enjoy the scenery along the journey.

 

When she at the peak, she basically didn't get to enjoy what's surrounded her

Love this! You just summarized over 1,000 pages of posts on what Celine should or shouldn't do... After all, it's HER decision and I'm glad she is enjoying her life more than her career. Okay, she's done with music (I'm following your approach here), so why doing these things halfway now, if she's no longer interested in them? I mean, releasing new albums, performing etc. For money? Because she feels she owe it to all the people that works for her? I don't get it.
