Beauty and the Beast was out in ‘91 but still on her ‘92 album. When I Fall In Love was from Sleepless In Seattle in 1993 but still on her 1994 album. And since we know her team still tries to do things the way they’ve always done it, I wouldn’t be surprised if Ashes is on the Courage album. Maybe they’ll shake things up and try something different - especially if Sony really is demanding that she stick to a 12 track album. Quote

When physical cassettes and albums/ CD’s were the biggest way to release music they had to include a successful single even if it was a year later but today with streaming services as the main way of buying music those songs are already there, so they don’t have to include it on the album. They don’t have to do that nowadays; however, since Celine’s team still seems to be pretty tied to “the old way” of doing things, I just wouldn’t be surprised if they thought they should have Ashes on the CD. That’s an EXCELLENT point! I keep forgetting about the ticket/album bundle. It does give them a lot of freedom because people are getting the album anyway. However...knowing them, they might think “they’re going to hear Ashes and FOMO in the Courage Tour concert...we need to make sure they’re on the Courage Album.” Her team doesn’t seem to think like we do here on the forum most times. 2 Quote

Play me like a love song and courage are definitely ballads, the other songs are definitely uptempo. The best solution would be 2 discs: 15 songs ballads, 15 songs dance. A lesson should have been taught to that nobody songwriter if Celine and René had completely scrapped the song from the album. They changed the album title after all the fuss but that wasn't enough to the amount of disrespect and false accusations that the guy unfairly threw to Celine. The lesson should have been taught to this guy, not the other way around. It was him who needed to learn to be thankful and not a lier; Celine did nothing wrong here. It's the best song on the album and one of the best in her English catalogue, IMO.
