I always thought the album was almost finished... but now I wonder if they are making changes for a more modern sound after the Ashes surprise success. :unsure:

no more plain white backgrounds please, no more black and white. The Grand Canyon is not far from Vegas. Enough scenery to make interesting photos. Or go to a beautiful beach...

Maybe the album will include pictures like the one she took in the Infinity pool in Singapore.

I think it would have been a good idea if she had recorded one Christmas song that they released to AC radio before the album comes out next year. Christmas songs usually chart high on the AC chart during the upcoming season, and it would be good promotion for her before the album drops. Also, radio programmers may be more wiling to play her again if the song is an AC hit!

Hello, guys! I know this maybe off-topic but at around 8:06 of this interview with Jonathan Ross, Celine discusses why she was using a granny-sounding voice on most of the songs in LMBTL. She says "they" wanted her to be close to the mic and go raspy with her voice. Anyway, i just hope that she stick with her old glorious sound in her upcoming album. I don't wanna hear her sounding like Adele or any other singers outthere. I want her to sing like Celine Dion.

Has to go. Hated that ‘wanted to sound like Adele’ rubbish. She’s got the most golden, pure, mellow voice and they turned her into someone with a bad dose of bronchitis.

Christmas album :wub:

 

It would been a great idea to release a Christmas single, just because.

And to get the machine started.

 

And then somewhere Jan/Feb a new single from her soon to be released album somewhere in 2019.

 

It isn't that much to ask for.

But ah well guess it isn't that simple either.

I still am amazed that she is still only had one Christmas album (English) in all this time.

 

Christmas songs never get old despite their age and will stand the test of time

Well it's a "bad" sign that it's only him in the studio, which most likely he means he is producing [that particular song]..

I can think of many more classics she could record! It’s christmas time when people want to hear good singers and it’s a wasted opportunity if she never records any further songs!

I might be in the minority, but I don't want another Christmas album. I prefer fresh new music that you can listen to all year around and not just in December.

Even with Celine, I don’t believe a second Christmas album will be met with the near the same fanfare as her first. In fact, I don’t often hear much anticipation for anyone’s holiday albums anymore. How many more versions of these classic Christmas songs do we need? They’ve all been done. To death.
