SantiagoColorado Posted September 6, 2018 at 05:12 PM Posted September 6, 2018 at 05:12 PM what if she announces to have a new contract for the next five years.....please not haha. But anyway..about the new album. If it still needs to be perfected and they are still looking for good quality material I am in, but then no 10 tracks release but just like in the good old days - at least fifteen or even better - 17 or 20 tracks. And if possible - release the French tour dvd of 2017. Don’t think we will ever get the London show since the setlist is quite similar to the Tokyo show. But to have Zora Sourit and Encore un soir and many other treasures on dvd..would be beautiful. If then the album will be released in 2019 they can pleasure us with these treasures.. ah well we can dream;) Verzonden vanaf mijn iPad met Tapatalk Your post started very good and realistic until you mentioned the 17 or 20 tracks thing, and the DVDs Quote

Alex_Incognito Posted September 6, 2018 at 07:07 PM Posted September 6, 2018 at 07:07 PM Let's get this anglo-release out of the way so we can move onto a French one that isn't worried about sounding modern and is produced by age appropriate producers. 5 Quote "People pay 20-25 dollars to see you."- Céline Dion, 1990

Two English albums in TWELVE years?!?! If someone had told me this in 2008 I would have never believed it could happen with Céline But hey don't worry: she will tour again the next year, she will sing the same damn songs with the same modest show, and she will sell almost all the tickets. If they want a new sound then go to studio and release another one in 2020. 😑 3 Quote My Webpage >>> TRIBUTE TO CELINE DION

And for all we know they locked most of songs she recorded away in a vault and started from scratch (recorded songs scrapped from albums happen all the time). Popular Post mirage Posted September 6, 2018 at 08:42 PM Popular Post Posted September 6, 2018 at 08:42 PM There must be a good reason to postpone the album again. You can't convince me that they don't have enough songs after 2 years. I would love an album with 20 songs, but if she has 12 already, release it. It is soooooo frustrating that the last 2 years she made a comeback, suddenly it's cool to love her, and everybody respects her now. And what does her team do with this new interest in her? Absolutely nothing. They need to release something. Look at Ashes! They have dozen songs in the vault, bring out an EP, she doesn't need to put effort by going in studio. Or go in studio record 5 Christmas songs and it will keep us and the moment going until her new album. Or the 2016/2017 tour. I bet they release the album when she has full months of Vegas. The timing of the team. I want to have a talk with Dave Platel Aldo come back!! 9 Quote

She's in total control of her time (these days) and apparently, releasing a new album isn't one of her top priorities. It may be a waste of her "musical time", but if she really wanted to release an album, she would've done it. 3 Quote »»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»» MATHIAS ««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzPrxI0AIDY

I think I expressed myself wrong. What I meant was that IMO Celine is "wasting" time with tours singing the same old songs when she could be creating new songs. That incredible voice does not last forever and would like to hear something new instead of systematically the same songs in concert.I want to be surprised like I was with "Ashes". I want new releases not material to archive in order to be released after Celine's death. 6 Quote My Webpage >>> TRIBUTE TO CELINE DION

mb011 Posted September 6, 2018 at 09:22 PM Posted September 6, 2018 at 09:22 PM If they have like 10 songs ready, why not just drop the album out of the blue? Its not like they are looking to follow up on any major success of her previous two english releases... do it for the fans, and make a new comercial concept, and release it in two years. Is it really that hard? 3 Quote »»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»» MATHIAS ««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzPrxI0AIDY

ryba Posted September 6, 2018 at 11:12 PM Posted September 6, 2018 at 11:12 PM (edited) No, I think that they have no idea what to do with that album, because they have a bunch of random (probably mediocre) songs and cannot come up with a coherent meaningful concept, so they still hope for new good/better songs to come in Edited September 6, 2018 at 11:22 PM by ryba 2 Quote
smw Posted September 7, 2018 at 12:11 AM Posted September 7, 2018 at 12:11 AM We’ll be juuuuuuust fine y’all Encore un Soir came out not too long ago in 2016 and it’s a wonderful album. In the past few years, despite losing the love of her life & the man she built her career with — She’s had hugely successful tours, her Vegas residency is now officially legendary and may never again be topped by another person EVER, and she’s become fashion Icon! The English album will come. Then I hope she releases more English material more frequently - without any pressure! I think I the exhausting PROMO is what is so unappealing to Celine. But a new holiday album, jazz album, duets album would all generate buzz without exhausting promo. She’s given us a lot — and I look forward to everything that’s coming our way. It’s easy to say it’s been YEARS since the last English album but she’s given me plenty of other things to appease my obsessive fandom. I’m personally going to dive back into Sans Attendre and D’elles soon. Then relive concert highlights from these past few years. Fingers crossed there’s an Aretha tribute in the Vegas show. And maybe they’ll add in To Love You More. Looks like 2019 might just be another big year for Celine! 5 Quote
Nmj Posted September 7, 2018 at 02:36 AM Posted September 7, 2018 at 02:36 AM (edited) What worries me is the fact that Céline has recorded some of these songs penned for the next album 2 years ago... I just don’t want the album sounding dated. But I’m all for a spring release over a fall release anytime, fall releases seem to get lost in Christmas and then for out. Butfresh summer songs with a good “I’m alive ” feel would be amazing. I hope they are smart and follow the ANDHC March release blueprint. Edited September 7, 2018 at 02:38 AM by Nmj 3 Quote
