I wasn't saying she has to release all her entire discography with Sony on vinyl ; probably only the most successful albums and the most representative ones. Falling Into You, Let's Talk About Love and A New Day Has Come, which have been re-released and repackaged in all sorts of collections and box sets should definitely have a vinyl release. And then other best selling albums like All The Way and These Are Special Times should deserve a vinyl edition too

I love Taylor Swift's 1989 album. It got good production and good songs. (Except in the end, it's a little too slow) and I want something like that for Celine. Not necessary "Shake It Off" but the tune of the album is fitting for Celine. I could totally see Celine sing a song like "Style". It's the perfect mix of mid-tempo and catchy. And it's almost something like "A New Day Has Come (Radio Mix) just more modern.

 

Also, Adele. Her 25 album is great, and Celine basically made albums like that in the 90's. Just better like Let's Talk About Love. Production is everything, and its kind of what been missing from Loved Me Back To Life.

 

Lastly, Sia. It could swing both ways, I mean every other song she makes I kind of like. Before I used to love everything she made. I personally love LMBTL, but what I wanted was something like Chandelier. And that's something that she needs. Celine would kill Chandelier and it would have been the perfect song for her. But now, Sia makes songs like "The Greatest" which I think suck, and she makes "One Million Bullet" which I kind of like. But none of them are quite as good as Chandelier. Her whole album This Is Acting is kind of almost good. If Sia is gonna make something for Celine, I'd prefer it to be something like Chandelier or Elastic Heart, or maybe even Titanium. (Just without the David Guetta part)

yes, I would love too, but there is a difference between 5 albums (shania) and 18 albums (Céline only with Sony without the live and greatest hits). I don't think Sony thinks its a good idea to release at least 15 Céline albums on vinyl. Maybe if they release like 5 records each years....Or maybe the most successful ones, I would love to have D'eux on vinyl ! oh my god ! But I would not bet on that. Maybe they will someday release a giant big "coffret" with all her records on vinyl but yes... bring your wallet. Well... We'll see

D'eux on vinyl would be an instant collector's item for sure.

She does not sing it anymore because of the painful lyrics i think. Reminds her too much of Rene's sickness period.

But their arrangement killed the song too. The fat beat is nothing when played by the orchestra and normal popdrums.

Madonna knew how to do it right. She gave the audience the exact albumsound by using live software instruments and the same effects and filters on stage.

This English album is going to be the hardest test for Aldo.

 

They just released a French album and let it sell on its own. Easy peasy! I dare him try to do the same with the English one and see it selling 200k worldwide in total.

Well, Y&I was written specifically for Air Canada more or less as a jingle, and Celine was just gracious enough to record it. It was a fine single choice for Canada, but not for the U.S.
