That's actually from her performance at the 1987 Félix Awards. She sang that song with many other artists.

I would love 12-track current sounding album with 3 slow ballads, 4 uptempo songs and the rest should be mid-tempo. Lots of electronic sounds in the background. They create an atmosphere that normal instruments can't. Something like Coldplay's latest album.

 

It will give her the tools to go on a short summer tour.

 

BUT, I don't think they could be played by an orchestra and Celine will most likely keep mourning Rene. I wish "Recovering" would close that chapter, but we'll most likely keep getting songs about it as is the case with motherhood.

I absolutely agree!

Would love to have Celine's great ballads back, eventually produced by David Foster that knows her voice best.

But also something unexpected and really good.

New songs by Sia Furler would be a must and I think it will happen!

I also wish that Sony and Celine's team realize that music videos are needed to promote the songs and the album...

I think the french album has reached a perfect balance between mourning and uplifting songs. I hope with the english one it will be the same. I'd love songs about her feelings now as much as I would like up-tempo songs and I believe it is what we'll get

I agree. For me recovering should be a online download only. And i have to say the more i hear the song the more i am a bit done with it. For the special occasion it was nice and well done but It is not that special and musically it does not sound original. Encore un soir is so much better in my opinion.

I agree. For me recovering should be a online download only. And i have to say the more i hear the song the more i am a bit done with it. For the special occasion it was nice and well done but It is not that special and musically it does not sound original. Encore un soir is so much better in my opinion.

These are two songs that Celine wrote through the years (I'm not 100% sure of when exactly did she write them) and it would also be a nice tribute to René, since he used to encourage her to write more stuff for herself.
