Maybe she likes them so much that she doesn't want to sing them on an industrial basis in order not to wear them out?

 

Some songs you quoted I adore them but I don't listen to them very often.I don't know why...maybe that's the same for her.

 

On top of that, she already brought back some rare songs during her last 2 tours. Let's see what the future holds. It's a good way for her to sing them some time without getting tired of them.

She also stated that she wanted to do some shows with unknown songs... like she said SOME.Not night after night...

 

I know that she could sing them in Vegas and change setlist every run, at least 1 song. But for some reasons, she doesn't. I think that's a mix of laziness, organization ( musicians have to learn the song too, they have to rehearse it, etc...all this for 10 nights for a audience that doesn't give a d*** about it)....

Vegas is not the right place to do it IMO

 

Plus, she might like them , listen to them and sing them at home. Who knows? Stating she likes those songs ant not singing them on stage isn't contradictory. She can sing them whenever she wants to :-)

 

I'm not doubting Celine's overall enjoyment of these songs. However, to profess such high levels of love admiration for certain ones specifically, and then do practically, if not literally, nothing with them comes across as slightly insincere and/or disconnected to me. If, hypothetically speaking, she hated how they were coming across live onstage, then it would have been time to find a new musical director or someone who COULD bring the magic within these songs alive onstage.

 

It came many years too late for many possibilities in previous tours, but I am beyond elated that Scott is now Celine's musical director. What he created during the last two tours was amazing. I just hope Celine revisits some of these songs she's professed such love and admiration for in the past. I don't expect all of the ones I mentioned to be resurrected from the past, but "Us" could work during the upcoming Asia-Pacific tour. We'll see if it's included or not. Fingers crossed!

actually i wrote a song specially for our queen, i just need time to go to studio and do a demo

 

it's about live without our love and how to deal about it

 

 

once i don't play instruments, i don't own a studio and i don't sing, and to make a demo has to be a demo, i need to pay it just a dream on a list

Do her Vegas show like she always does . The month of Oct promote it on TV shows here in the states, Not sure when she would drop her 1st single ?

That would be a terrible idea for the album, she should never release a album while stuck in Vegas for shows. She’s needs to promote the album and she can’t do that by singing Mr Paganini in Vegas instead of doing tv shows, and promotion. I’d rather wait til 2019 lol if that’s the case, and it’s enough releasing album around Christmas because the promotion that she actually does, people will be asking for the “Christmas Song”for the millionth time instead of a couple of new songs from the album.

I wouldn't mind having RC on the album. I'm sure they would make it sound cool. But no reason to talk about it since it won't happen.

RC sounds like such a level-headed kid from everything I've heard and seen of him. I'm curious to see what the future holds for him.

 

I really don't envy those celeb kids tbh. They're used to the lifestyle of the rich & famous, which makes it that much harder to pursue a 'regular' career with a regular income...

Didn't the forum member who told us about Asia and Australia before it was announced say the english album was also coming the end of the second quarter of this year? He was spot on with Asia and Australia wherever he got that info (inside team i guess) would make me believe the album will be out before summer. Hope that's true!

 

I feel strongly about her NOT releasing an album in the fall again. She could release in late spring/early summer and then do some more promo again in fall to give the album some legs. Not out in November, and then let it die by January 2019.

I’m glade RC is having some involvement tbh ... he is young and as someone else said seems level headed!

 

It sounds like it will be current but I hope it’s consistent with the odd ballad that also sounds current. So many slow songs sound amazing with perfect sounds and beats behind them.

 

I think sometimes when she records a slower song ....it’s sometimes too drawn out and it ruins the songs despite great lyrics and a catchy tune.

 

I’m really excited for this album more than ever tbh... it needs to live up to the time it has taken... I hope this makes an impact for once in English! Somehow I think it will .... with LMBTL, I felt it would be hit and miss from the start with the lack of planning and the changing of concepts.

 

She has recorded many songs it seems over a few years... we might even be in for a treat with some bonus songs if we are lucky...

The way I see it Celine has never kept her professional and personal life seperate. I believe she considers them to be a unit. If you consider that all the songs that she has chosen to sing throughout her career have always depicted what she is feeling and going through in her private life. When she was young she sang songs for her mom

(Tellement j'ai d'amour pour toi as an example). When she was a teen she sang Lolita and C'est pour toi which were of course about her starting to have feelings for Rene. When they decided to come out about their relationshio it was The color of my love and All the way. The miracle album for Rene Charles. And now its Recovering, Encore un soir, Je taime encore and others. Rene Charles has been part of her Vegas show with Goldfinger and in the 2017 tour with Black and White (along with the twins)I think its only a question of time before she does something together with Rene Charles. It might not be for this album, but for sure in the future ,I believe she will value his input and opinions. I think its a good thing, since ,to her family is everything, I believe it might be a great source of inspiration.

Maybe Celine is just waiting for the big creative and commercial opportunity - on which she can build the success of her album: A duet-YES by Adele, offer for a James Bond theme song, ABBA as a backing choir, the pope as songwriter. Something like that. Dear Celine: finally sing this damn English album. THEN you then have the head and the agenda free again for a future French album. Artistically, these are your milestones. But sing. Please.
