smash Posted June 4, 2014 at 09:15 PM Posted June 4, 2014 at 09:15 PM I'm just happy we got anything at all. I had already accepted the fact that it wasn't coming. Not that it affected my life either way. I've loved this song since the first listen. The first few plunks on the piano put a huge smile on my face, and so did this video. It's just a few people having incredible moments in their lives. Creating art, dancing, seeing a giraffe up close...all of those things are incredible and completely fit the song. That's it, as you say, all those different things which are incredible. You're spot on. You have summed it up very nicely. Sharon 2 Quote
J-Man Posted June 4, 2014 at 09:19 PM Posted June 4, 2014 at 09:19 PM Not groundbreaking, but it was a present way to watch the song. Certainly no artistic indication as to why it may have taken so long to release it. Loved the bit where Ne-Yo points towards Celine when she's not looking. Really made it look like he's is in awe at singing with her 2 Quote http://www.powerofthemusic.com/other/FORUMSIG1.png
Matias Posted June 4, 2014 at 09:23 PM Posted June 4, 2014 at 09:23 PM After such a long wait, too many of you had expectations set way too high, and you all just come off ungrateful to the fact that we got anything at all. Just take it for what it is, a simple video, with a simple concept for a simple song. That's the main mistake some people here at the forum do, just because I'm a die hard fan (in my case since 1996) I won't and I can't accept crappy things she decides to launch Excatly...5 months of waiting for this?? just a slap in the face.Is like I should be thankful because she throws some chopped liver to her fans and we should be happy. I am not happy with mediocre. We are talking CELINE FREAKING DION, this video is lame, specially because they had the chance to make it BIG since Ne-Yo was a great way to get to younger kids. And enough with that "I need to prove anything" mambo jambo...honey if you are still in showbiz, you have to keep it fresh. and this video...BO-RING! Sigh...I knew it was not going to be incredible at all... Still I love her to death, but I am a realistic fan, just because I love her, it doesn't mean I will swallow everything she feeds her fans... 4 Quote http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_maic6m257V1rbfceqo2_250.gif"No no, put it back..."

I agree. I mean was there not much more budget to make a topvideo and hire the best cinematographer and choreographers? The roofshots are nice. But just that..nothing more. Not incredble. Popular Post dj4celine Posted June 4, 2014 at 10:48 PM Popular Post Posted June 4, 2014 at 10:48 PM I loved it. I don't need a video with Celine all the time because this song is not about it at all. From the very onset, this song was described to be something 'incredible' in a different way for different people. The video tried to show it and in some moments, like the little girl with the sign language, the football player seeing his father coming into the lockers (most probably after a win), it shined. I never expected this song to be as grand as IACBTM as this song is not grand and bombastic like that at all. Those little moments shown were more than enough. Could it have been better? Sure, everything has a potential to better. Was the execution of the ideas good? Yep, for me it was. Oh, and hell yeah, this song is better than Le Miracle 8 Quote

littleames Posted June 4, 2014 at 11:34 PM Posted June 4, 2014 at 11:34 PM I was at Universal Studios a few days ago standing in line for a ride and this woman's phone ahead of us starting ringing. It was Save Your Soul. So I quietly started freaking out that I heard a Celine song in public (other than MHWGO or ABM), even more so than I already was by being in Hogwarts! Then I got to thinking how quiet it's been lately and how sad it was that we hadn't gotten a video. Then BOOM! Photo shoot and the video! 4 Quote
Xpresso Posted June 4, 2014 at 11:38 PM Posted June 4, 2014 at 11:38 PM Alex, who knows, this could actually be for a coke commercial! It's not the greatest video, but it's not bad at all...I'm sure the budget was limited and they did a decent job under the circumstances...And this is getting some press coverage - which is the most important! Promo, promo!! 2 Quote

chocolatechip15 Posted June 5, 2014 at 01:52 AM Posted June 5, 2014 at 01:52 AM I like the video a lot. Of course it would be nice to have a video where Celine does some acting, but I think this video worked really well for this song. . they chose to go with the incredible-ness of everyday things. . the joy of a little girl expressing herself through sign language, an older girl expressing herself through music, the football player being supported by his team, the art and the dancing. . . . and it's mostly set against a fairly decrepit background . . old abandoned building, shuttered stores, dingy city streets . .showing that you can you find incredible things anywhere. Also love the Hope street sign. The giraffe is kinda . . random, but whatever, it's a giraffe -- what's not to love? I love Ne-Yo even more for the way he mischeviously points at Celine when she's not looking -- right when they say "amazing." Does anyone understand sign language, and know what the little girl is saying? 3 Quote

eduardomolina Posted June 5, 2014 at 02:52 AM Posted June 5, 2014 at 02:52 AM The video is ok, but it´d be betther if they show her more. Besides that, it should have had more emotion, like something cool happenning in the climax. But I´m happy with it. Quote

Angel2006 Posted June 5, 2014 at 04:56 AM Posted June 5, 2014 at 04:56 AM (edited) Just saw the music video and I have to say, I think it was nicely done. I think it showed enough of Celine and Neyo. We see enough of them to know they are in the video atleast. I'm kinda glad it only showed bits and pieces of Celine, cuz this wasn't one of my fav outfits. It wasn't a music video worthy outfit for me. Celine looked happy and care free and looked like she was having a INCREDIBLE time. LOL. It's not one of her best music videos, but I still like it. It's kinda cute. Celine and Neyo have good chemistry and the two of them make the video that much better. You can tell that Neyo has alot of respect for Celine and that he really enjoys working with her. I'm glad us fans finally got what we wanted and the video has been delivered now. Plus we also have a new amazing People Magazine photoshoot!! :clap:Celine is also going to be returning to work in 5 days. That means we will probably get new backstage pics soon! Can it get any better? I love when we get Celine things all at once like this! Edited June 5, 2014 at 04:58 AM by Angel2006 2 Quote

Somehow, she looks quite a bit older in this shoot. I think it's the way her hair is done, all combed back, and quite a bit of makeup again. But her hair all back like that, i dont think it suits her. Almost does'nt look like our Celine. Shame, she can wear it as she pleases, only my opnion. Sharon Quote
