I'm not entirely optimistic about this helping the album or single sales after such a long delay. That being said, it's more the double the first day of LMBTL first day views and is actually trending right now on youtube. A feat that LMBTL did not do. So that's something :)

I wouldn't say too long... The whole jacket, tight pants thing has been used for the LMBTL era. It's not even a year and during this period we've seen her in different outfits.

 

aren't you forgetting the SANS ATTENDRE era? (video for "Le Miracle", tv appearances)

And it even goes back to 2010 (although the top made her look very sexy, not to mention her darker hair color)

I strongly doubt that things like the iconic Alix Malka photoshoot would have ever been so gorgeous if it hadn't been for Annie's input.

These photos are for most of them the ugliest thing I've ever seen...and believe me, as a 20 year long fan of Celine, I've seen so much things.

Well, enough joking. I do agree with you when you say one can tell that Annie did not work on the last photoshoot. Obviously, nobody did ! (oops joking again !)

The music video is not even the main video on her YouTube Channel.

 

Still, it managed to get 130,000 views in one day. It's not THAT bad... NO promo at all.

Yes, I mostly agree with you (I would have to go back and look at pictures from the promo of AND before I could say I 100% agree :))

 

I think people often confuse "fashion" with "style." I think fashion is beautiful. Fashion is art, in every sense of the word. Style is more related to the individual. If a person has a sense of style, they do not have to follow fashion trends. A person just stays true to who they are. Pants and a jacket are not boring choices, on the contrary, that look is most often considered classic. Also, she has also said in interviews that in public she often dresses down so that she looks more approachable, but she has a different style at home. What is more approachable than pants and a jacket? Anyone can create that look. Her version is just higher quality than the average person can create :)

 

The fact she does not change her style every month to follow the trends relates more to the fact that she has a sense of herself and does not need to be told what to do. I think if you have no idea who you are and what works for you, then follow every trend and try things out. Or even if you know what style works for you, then you could follow trends just for the fun of it. But, I do not think it is boring if a person does not change their look all of the time, especially when they have created a style that is stable and associated with them.

I think Celine Dion has a great sense of style. Her costumes for her show are beautiful. Of what I can recall, the last few years at red carpet events her dresses have been amazing. I liked her look in the music video. Also, I liked the new photo shoot. It looked fun, and she looked great. It was a photo shoot for Vegas, it's supposed to be over the top!

 

I highly agree with you. Yes, I definitely think Celine has a huge sense of style. Over the years, she's changed her look for every new album, always improving and evolving on this sense. On this sense, I think she reached the climax of the fashion world when she started the current Vegas show in March of 2011. Amazing clothes for the show, just gorgeous looks on the promotional interviews to support the '3 Boys and a New Show' documentary later that year, and stunning looks during the promotional appearances for both 'Sans Attendre' and 'Loved Me Back To Life' in 2012 and 2013.

 

Now, with this latest music video, the good taste of Celine Dion is proven once again. Each time I see her I'm proud to be a fan of hers, not only as a singer and as a human being in general, but also as a Diva, the Ultimate Diva.

You have a point, I forgot about the SA era, but still... she used to wear blazers during the 90s here and there. :P And I have seen her with dresses the past years.

Still, they should make it the main video on Céline's YouTube account.

I hope it reaches 1 million views within 2 or 3 weeks. That would be a decent result!

Good news is the music video will get lots of other people to watch these live performances!

 

yeah too bad the volume is really low on that one and the one on The Voice is nowhere to be found!

 

356,000 now...

 

I guess the 30k per hour is quite accurate for these late hours!
