I feel so disappointed of Celine and her team, they have done nothing good to promote this album, they just recorded it and left it there. Careless...

 

It is such a masterpiece this album, why not promote? Why not music videos? I mean, you have released so many singles, but none of them has a video, that's important nowadays!

 

I've been a fan for almost 20 years and also feel that there's no more love for what they used to love doing, just recorded an album and done, that's it!

(even tho it only sold a million copies worldwide & only 200,000 copies in the usa after it was released 5 months ago lol)... or this other line thats also popular on here lately: "omg celine is sooooo olddddddd, like shes way too ancient & expired to have any hit singles or albums cuz shes over 40 & she will never have a hit song or a hit album ever again, cuz shes too old, shes a granny now @ 46" lol, (EVEN THO CHER, WHO IS ALMOST 68 YEARS OLD, HAS 2 RECENT HIT SINGLES BOTH W/ MUSIC VIDEOS & A HIT ALBUM ALSO RELEASED BACK IN NOVEMBER, & jennifer lopez, 45, & mariah carey, 44, are also enjoying current hit singles these days & ALL OF THEIR SINGLES ALSO HAVE MUSIC VIDEOS AS WELL!!!!)

 

 

yes about music video situation, FOR THOSE OF U WHO THINK THAT MUSIC VIDEOS ARENT IMPORTANT THESE DAYS, UR DEAD WRONG ABOUT THAT!!!! yes we dont see music videos on mtv or vh1 like back in the day before both of those channels became overrun w/ lousy, stupid, thoughless reality shows that they have nowadays that dont even have a frickin thing to do w/ music lol... BUT, we do have YOUTUBE & the rest of the internet that all of us can watch videos on & LOTS of young people, & even some of us older 30 & older people like me lol, ENJOY & LOVE watching videos on youtube...

 

 

& MUSIC VIDEOS ARE POPULAR to watch & are highly in demand to be on youtube, so thats why most singers, bands, rappers, & other entertainers still make music videos nowadays cuz there are still audiences all over the world who still love to watch music videos thanks to youtube & other internet website that have video players... so even w/out the support of mtv & vh1, music videos arent actually dead just yet lol... in fact, for example, beyonce made music videos for ALL of her songs on her current album thats 16 or 17 videos altogether!!!! & while yes a few of them that i have seen on youtube that have been released of hers are VERY SLUTTY & TRASHY... i think that beyonce is dressing way too slutty & trashy in her current videos & even tho i think that her voice is still pretty good & i like some of her previous songs such as "irreplaceable" & "halo", i really dont care for any of her new songs that have been released so far @ all... but even w/ her crappy & stripper-like music videos, @ least w/ having music videos released period, beyonce is still selling pretty good THANKS TO MOSTLY ALL THOSE MUSIC VIDEOS SHE DID!!!!

 

 

& thats just one example right there... most singers, bands, rappers, & other entertainers rely partly on music videos as getting their new songs & new albums noticed by fans & the general public, just like having radio play & tv appearances... & i know a hell of alot of younger people, & even some people my age & older, who like to watch music videos on youtube, in fact MY DAD, whos in his late 50s, loves to watch music videos on youtube just like i do, he loves to listen to hard rock, heavy metal, & country music...

 

 

& u all should see the young girls that i work w/, & i work w/ a hell of alot of young 20-something girls, & some of them im friends w/ as well even tho im older than them lol, ARE OBSESSED w/ watching music videos on youtube!!!! & @ times when theres no clients or patients to take care of & everything is slow, some of them will go ON YOUTUBE & WATCH VIDEOS, mostly music videos & some comedy videos too, on their cell phones or on the computers when the head doctor, whos also our boss, isnt looking lol...

 

 

the girls are constantly looking for new music videos when theyre on youtube & when i have mentioned celines name @ work one day & played one of her songs from lmbtl on my ipod, & some of them looked @ me totally shocked & told me that they thought that she had retired or died years ago & was no longer recording albums these days... yea i know, i was shocked as well that some of them thought that about our girl celine & i still am shocked 3 months later!!!!

 

 

so yes u & i can clearly see that music videos are still relevant in todays society & SONY, BEING THE IDIOTS THAT THEY HAVE BECOME sorry to say, should release the video for "incredible" & should have made videos for "lmbtl" the song, "breakaway", & "water & a flame", & kept going w/ the promotion AFTER THE ALBUMS RELEASE, THEY STOPPED PROMOTING IT AFTER NOVEMBER!!!! & most record labels will still do some promotion of their own w/ their clients albums & singles even after the release as well as before, such as making & releasing music videos for each single, just like SONY USED TO DO for celine for all of her albums, except for her current album for some strange & wacky reason!!!! & its not like it takes weeks or months to do music videos cuz it really doesnt, cuz many singers, such as beyonce & mariah, are releasing videos just weeks apart from each other very quickly...

sorry about my triple posting, my kindle froze up for a second cuz one of my cats had accidently knocked it over while i was petting him & he was rubbing himself agajnst me enjoying the kitty loving & all lol... luckily it is working fine since it happened to land on the couch thank goodness lol...

 

when i came back to my kindle it wasnt sending hat i wrote @ first cuz the screen froze, then when i kept hitting reply over & over the kindle had finally unfroze itself lol... & im glad that its not broken cuz it cost my boyfriend $200, since it was one of my birthday presents from him last month, & since i dont have a regular computer right now, this is the only way that i can be connected to the internet...

yes about music video situation, FOR THOSE OF U WHO THINK THAT MUSIC VIDEOS ARENT IMPORTANT THESE DAYS, UR DEAD WRONG ABOUT THAT!!!! yes we dont see music videos on mtv or vh1 like back in the day before both of those channels became overrun w/ lousy, stupid, thoughless reality shows that they have nowadays that dont even have a frickin thing to do w/ music lol... BUT, we do have YOUTUBE & the rest of the internet that all of us can watch videos on & LOTS of young people, & even some of us older 30 & older people like me lol, ENJOY & LOVE watching videos on youtube...

 

 

& MUSIC VIDEOS ARE POPULAR to watch & are highly in demand to be on youtube, so thats why most singers, bands, rappers, & other entertainers still make music videos nowadays cuz there are still audiences all over the world who still love to watch music videos thanks to youtube & other internet website that have video players... so even w/out the support of mtv & vh1, music videos arent actually dead just yet lol... in fact, for example, beyonce made music videos for ALL of her songs on her current album thats 16 or 17 videos altogether!!!! & while yes a few of them that i have seen on youtube that have been released of hers are VERY SLUTTY & TRASHY... i think that beyonce is dressing way too slutty & trashy in her current videos & even tho i think that her voice is still pretty good & i like some of her previous songs such as "irreplaceable" & "halo", i really dont care for any of her new songs that have been released so far @ all... but even w/ her crappy & stripper-like music videos, @ least w/ having music videos released period, beyonce is still selling pretty good THANKS TO MOSTLY ALL THOSE MUSIC VIDEOS SHE DID!!!!

 

 

& thats just one example right there... most singers, bands, rappers, & other entertainers rely partly on music videos as getting their new songs & new albums noticed by fans & the general public, just like having radio play & tv appearances... & i know a hell of alot of younger people, & even some people my age & older, who like to watch music videos on youtube, in fact MY DAD, whos in his late 50s, loves to watch music videos on youtube just like i do, he loves to listen to hard rock, heavy metal, & country music...

 

 

& u all should see the young girls that i work w/, & i work w/ a hell of alot of young 20-something girls, & some of them im friends w/ as well even tho im older than them lol, ARE OBSESSED w/ watching music videos on youtube!!!! & @ times when theres no clients or patients to take care of & everything is slow, some of them will go ON YOUTUBE & WATCH VIDEOS, mostly music videos & some comedy videos too, on their cell phones or on the computers when the head doctor, whos also our boss, isnt looking lol...

 

 

the girls are constantly looking for new music videos when theyre on youtube & when i have mentioned celines name @ work one day & played one of her songs from lmbtl on my ipod, & some of them looked @ me totally shocked & told me that they thought that she had retired or died years ago & was no longer recording albums these days... yea i know, i was shocked as well that some of them thought that about our girl celine & i still am shocked 3 months later!!!!

 

 

so yes u & i can clearly see that music videos are still relevant in todays society & SONY, BEING THE IDIOTS THAT THEY HAVE BECOME sorry to say, should release the video for "incredible" & should have made videos for "lmbtl" the song, "breakaway", & "water & a flame", & kept going w/ the promotion AFTER THE ALBUMS RELEASE, THEY STOPPED PROMOTING IT AFTER NOVEMBER!!!! & most record labels will still do some promotion of their own w/ their clients albums & singles even after the release as well as before, such as making & releasing music videos for each single, just like SONY USED TO DO for celine for all of her albums, except for her current album for some strange & wacky reason!!!! & its not like it takes weeks or months to do music videos cuz it really doesnt, cuz many singers, such as beyonce & mariah, are releasing videos just weeks apart from each other very quickly...

 

 

& to me it seems like sony are also being cheepskates these days when it comes to promoting celine, cuz to do simple & uncomplicated music videos do not really cost that frickin much to make, in fact if very little special effects are being used or none @ all are used @ all, it can cost very little money to make a video... again it just seems that sony have become very lazy & very careless these days when it comes to our girl, cuz like u said celinecolombian, they act like they dont give a damn anymore these days...

BTW I agree, LMBTL is no "new Céline", maybe the only new thing about it is the granny voice and way of singing, but definitely not the songs.

And I think I love the granny voice... it brings her artistry to a new level. I'm in love with this album to a point I never reached with TAKING CHANCES or ONE HEART.

I'm not sure why she insisted on describing this album as such a change in sound . . she's *always* experimented with different sounds, and she's always had some ballads on her albums. The big power ballads were the biggest hits, but she's always sung other styles as well.

Exactly. BTW LMBTL is a power ballad. With a lot more powerful high notes than BYLM or BATB. It's maybe a modern TPOL (powerful chorus that goes pretty high and repeats itself, and a bigger note at the end)
