Second single: "Incredible" - Duet with Ne-Yo

We have a music video for the song. The live in Quebec.

 

 

yea technically u are right about that dj_a_rock... but i think that we were all hoping for an actual video filmed, just like celine has done for most of her other songs from her previous albums, including her most recent french album, including one she filmed last year...

 

 

especially after hearing celine talk about what she thought the song meant to her in several interviews when lmbtl the song was released, about a woman being in a coma after a car crash, & her loved ones being there for her & hence 'loving her back to life' lol...

 

 

i think that there would have been a really cool & interesting video for "loved me back to life", just based on what celine said in her interviews, she has some great ideas about lmbtl...

 

 

too bad stupid & ridicolous sony didnt let her film the video & use her ideas for what could have been an epic & fantastic video just like "its all coming back to me now" was & still is, but i guess that we will never know about that...

 

 

& for those of u who dont agree w/ my opinions , please get over urselves seriously... who cares, we all are gonna have disagreements w/ each other, thats reality ok...

 

 

& lets face it, this forum is gonna be dead for a very long time now... celine doesnt have any new projects coming up anytime soon except for her las vegas show, unless the video for incredible gets released, which lets face the truth here, i doubt we will see that video @ all except maybe in 10 years or so from now lol...

 

 

but otherwise there isnt gonna be anything else going on for the next who knows how many months or years... & many other people think that there might not be any other albums for a long time to come, or if any altogether... so im not the only one who has come up w/ these conclusions cuz look how lmbtl hasnt been really much successful @ all, the album being dead after only 5 months of release doesnt look so good... so what else are we gonna talk about on here lol...

 

 

i just wish that the general public would have given this great new album of celines a chance that it deserves instead of crazy & sleazy people like miley & gaga lol whose singing abilities cant even hold a flame against the enormous talent & gracefulness that celine still possesses these days...

yea but that was back in the 1990s when celine released "because you loved me" & "im your angel", so that was a very long time ago... & if incredible is such an cool r&b type song, then how come the top 40 radio stations in america wont dare touch it... the top 40 stations are dominated by mostly r&b, hip-hop, & dance music...

 

 

& werent u one of the people on this forum who told me a few weeks ago that celine isnt popular nowadays & wont ever be played on top 40 stations again... no sorry to say this, but celine isnt nowhere near the current popularity of neyo whose music still being played on top 40 stations & celine hasnt had a song played on any top 40 stations in the usa in over 10 years or so, im going by what u say...

 

 

& also none of that means that incredible is gonna be on neyos new album as well, there is not one source claiming that its true, so it just might not happen... in fact i have checked neyos twitter & facebook & twitter pages many times during the past few months just like i also check celines facebook & twitter pages to find out any info about the video for incredible...

 

 

& unlike celines fb & twitter pages, neyo does keeps his fb & twitter pages regularly updated, & there has not been one shread of info about incredible or the video or any mention of celine herself from neyo, the last time he mentioned anything related to celine or incredible was back in december, which was almost 4 months ago...

 

 

& he does like to name drop everyone who he is working w/ & he has mentioned quite a few people that he has been working w/ for his new album & celines name or incredible hasnt been mentioned @ all, so get all ur hopes up about that, or about the video being released...

 

 

u all like to get ur hopes up too easily & i have been guilty of that too when it comes to celines music cuz i love her music & i wanna see great things work out for her cuz shes so talented & she really deserves to have success & respect, just like w/ this frickin video...

I said nothing about her songs going to top 40. Don't try and use my own past arguments against me. What I said was in response to you saying she has no ties to the R&B world, where if you actually look back at her career, she has touched upon it. I also never said she was popular in contemporary pop like Ne-yo is. I didn't say that "Incredible" would be featured on Ne-yo's new album. I just speculated as a possibility. That was my own thought that I came up with. I didn't read it anywhere, it was never a rumor. The top 40 stations are not playing Celine because 1. She's Celine and 2. Nothing has been sent to top 40 radio even for consideration. All of these things that you said in this post, are things that everyone has been saying to you since you joined this forum. Now you're using everyone's arguments like they're your own...and all of a sudden you are accepting the fact that the video hasn't been released. I haven't seen anyone else as up in arms as you are about this video not being released. Some of us have tried to tell you that it's normal for us to have to wait for things from Celine's camp...but you just kept on going and going and going. Almost as if you hadn't read a word that anyone said. I don't have my hopes up about this video. In fact, I haven't complained not even once about it not being released yet. If it gets released, great...if not, then whatever. It's not going to change a thing in my life either which way. It's not going to change yours either. Celine has had her peak. Now she's a legend. If having one album underperform was enough to end an established artists career then Glitter would have finished Mariah and Madonna would have had to retire a decade ago.

I bought the album of Agnetha from Abba, it is simply called "A". What a beautiful album. We saw like an interview with her, about this new album of hers on the tv. The next day i went out and bought it. I think she is 72 or 73 years old, if i'm not mistaken. She is just quieter now. When she sings the songs, it's a softer voice, but then now and again, you hear that voice from Abba's days. I got a bit emotional when they showed the songs in the interview, seeing her now, how much older she is to then, and when she sang, and the songs have that kinda buildup, i just said, "you go girl, you still have it, you can still do it", then a person can still hear that voice from all those years ago. Now i must apologize for carrying on about Agnetha, i know this is Celine's forum. I'm sorry.

There is no word. Anything could have happened. Something could have gone wrong with the footage. When they went to edit it, it could have issues. Or, when they saw the final edit, people in power didn't like how it looked. Remember how they completely scrapped the video for I Want You To Need Me and then made another one? If that was the case with this, they may have just decided not to spend the money on another one. Who knows? I wouldn't hold my breath for a video though. I'm letting it go and if it shows up, great. If not, that's fine. I'm listening to the song right now!

And how do we know Celine's part is done? Because we've seen her once on the roof of a building with a camera crew?

 

That doesn't tell us if they wanted to take more shots of her for the video on different sets.

 

René is still the manager, he must be a big deal in taking part of the post-production/contracts/release/promotion/everything else. If he's still, god forbid, sick, then things must have slow down.

My issue with everything as of late has simply been Celine's management. (This doesn't mean JUST Rene.)

 

When Celine and Rene went on hiatus back in 2000 to both try for a child and for Rene to recover, nobody knew if Celine would ever come back to the music industry. With all due respect, some probably didn't even know if Rene would survive. (Thankfully, he has.) So, back then, I could understand Sony dropping everything. Why use time, money and resources on a product (yes, Celine is a product, in a way) that may never come back? However, the very second Celine decided to come back into the industry with Rene continuing as her manager, fail safes should have been put into place in case something horrible happened again. Sadly, it did, last year. There should have been enough back up managers set into place to take over for Rene and ensure the product (Celine) was being pushed, projects were being handled in a timely manner and the fans were being kept up-to-date. That does not mean the fans deserve to know everything that is happening behind closed doors. It simply means that the least we deserve to get is communication. A brief message on her site stating, "Due to unforeseen personal events, the release of the music video for Celine's smash duet with Ne-Yo, "Incredible," has been postponed. We apologize for the inconvenience and will keep you updated as news unfolds," or something to that effect. We, her fans, are, after all, the ones who have helped her and her family get to where they are today. We deserve to be treated better than we have (for years).

Agreed, it's likely that the video is being held for the release of Neyo's new album in the Summer. Feels a long way away, though ... it could also be that some sort of deluxe version of LMBTL will be released in May so as to coincide with Mother's Day. Seems like a stretch, but you never know ...

And I think that (1) we're forgetting that she did quite a lot of promotion in the fall; and (2) that she, quite understandably, does not want to be in the public eye right now, so I doubt we are going to get much more promotion, and I think that's fine, b/c it's best for Celine.

& what does her album from 1992 have to do w/ whats going on right now???? i remember back in 1992 her music was played on top 40, where as now it is not... now me, u, & the rest of us in the forum do consider incredible to be an r&b song, but apparently the rest of the world does not share the same opinion as we do, cuz if top 40 radio & the billboard charts considered incredible to be an r&b song, then the song would be in the r&b charts wouldnt it???? & before u bring up celines age of 46, let me remind u that both jennifer lopez & mariah carey have had recent songs on the r&b charts & JLO IS 45 YEARS OLD (born in 1969) & MC IS 44 YEARS OLD (born in 1970), so just like our girl celine, neither one of them are spring chickens now either lol, & mariahs duet w/ miquel, #beautiful, was on the r&b charts last year & incredible sounds kinda similar, both songs are slow r&b ballads & both just happen to be duets w/ a younger male singer lol...

 

 

so to the american music industry its not an r&b song, & i really dont think that incredible will be on neyo new album... if it was it would be all over neyos twitter & fb... im wondering if the whole special event was just another lie made up by sony just like the olympics, they should have never had celine & neyo say it was gonna be on the olympics if it really wasnt gonna be... sony are the ones who have failed here & u keep putting them on a pedestal, many other people agree w/ me that sony sucks & thats my opinion on them...

Maybe you're right, but it'd be wierd if adding shots of Celine after 4 months... Cos the video should be planned how it'd be filmed before the shooting started

My previous post wasn't responed to your post. My post was only about the Incredible music video... And I agreed what u have said about the album promotion. Celine has really done many for promoting this album, especially last fall

yea i do understanding some of what ur saying, but i hope that she will give us a couple of new albums before shes done, cuz not all of us fans will get the chance to see her in vegas, i know i wont get to cuz i dont have a spare $5,000/$6,000 laying around, its too expensive for me, i have bills to pay & other mouths to feed, (& since im all the way from the east coast), vegas isnt in my budget range...

 

 

now yes im glad that she is performing in vegas cuz it makes her happy & many fans who live closer & can afford to go can be able to see her in concert... but for those of us who will most likely never see her in concert, (unless she does another world tour, which im pretty sure thats never gonna happen cuz she has even said so herself recently in a few interviews that she isnt planning to tour again, thats why her contract in vegas was extended to the year 2019 & i highly doubt that she will still be performing @ all after her contract ends, especially if, heaven forbids, rene isnt around by that time, cuz then she will definetely throw in the towel), @ least her still releasing a new album once every few years is @ least some small constellation for not being able to make it to vegas to see any of her shows...

 

 

on while we are all on the same subject on her getting "new" or "younger" management lol, hahahahahahahaha theres nooooo way celine would ever get new or younger management lol, in fact when rene does eventually pass away, which i really hope is many, many, many years from now, i really think that will be the end of celines career permenantly, cuz she doesnt trust no one else to be her manager, she has said so herself for the past 20 years in many interviews that she ONLY TRUSTS RENE & NO ONE ELSE!!!! in fact celine has said the same thing about sony!!!! thats why she hasnt been w/ another record label since 1990!!!! she has said that she ONLY TRUSTS RENE & SONY TO HANDLE HER CAREER NUMEROUS TIMES, so thats why she hasnt left them & i dont think that she ever will... but i do think that she should have a few other people as backup to manage her career that she can still trust, like somebody from her family or somebody from her already-established entourage... & i also think that she should be able to trust another record label besides stupid, lazy sony, there are other fish in the sea besides awful sony lol... cuz it would suck if sony dropped her cuz of the crappy sales of lmbtl & she didnt go w/ another label... now i can understand not always trusting everybody all the time, but there are way better record companies out there for celine than stupid sony, who clearly havent known what they are doing w/ celine for a long while now lol...
