Pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase let's do something to bring there Immensite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's stupid, really stupid, if TLDH is there I should be there too! She enjoyed the song so much! can't believe that they've done that

 

I think they chose these 4 bonus tracks to please a French fan: Ziggy was a huge hit in France, TLDH was #3 there, RM is a JJG/D'eux song, and WAAF is new and promotes LMBTL. I guess Immensité wasn't considered to be important enough... :down:

Again, who picks what makes it and what doesn't? There must be a crazy lune in the team that picks what they pick! :laugh: I mean why couldn't they include more than 4?

Ok they missed one song we wanted... Calm down... It's still a brilliant release!

 

And I think having the bonus songs at the end is just fine! I'm sure it will say bonus on the case...

 

What's the problem guys?

I'm still glad we got tout l'or des hommes, regarde-moi, and water and a flame. They're all lovely. Ziggy is a good song too, but I woulda loved immensite! :)

Thank you! And we are getting a huge release. There are good quality vids of Immensité on YouTube so I don't really see the big problem.

Thank you! And we are getting a huge release. There are good quality vids of Immensité on YouTube so I don't really see the big problem.

 

Don't get me wrong I will miss it and was expecting it but.... It's one song... We have so many good songs with this release.... There are so many songs both the new English songs and new French songs never been recorded on a live cd before!

I agree with you. If I didn't have the lyrics to the French songs it would've been a lot tougher to catch what she's singing. I think just learning the French lyrics has really helped me getting better at French, especially with a lot of the grammar stuff!

Same here! Listening to her more and looking at lyrics I can notice more words. I love the language, and it's not the easiest language to learn, you know? :)

This summer when I went to USF I got to practice a little french but speaking is a million times tougher than comprehending what people are saying. I was hoping that I'd get some practice talking to Celine but that never happened.. ;)

I've found that it's harder to respond to people too. It just takes practice :)

What the F are the 29 to 33 options???

 

I'm kinda bummed that the bonus tracks are AFTER the concert ... I don't think it will flow well!

 

It would have been better to have a third disc with all the non USF tracks

 

 

I am happy to have LM too in HQ tho!! Of course I love the old medley... But I really didnt understand why LM was cut after the first night in Antwerp! It seemed odd on USF but after experiencing it yourself... That ending was really endearing! We kept singing the nanana part all the way back to the hotel!!

 

The nananananana's give me a headache lol

Happy to see WAAF listed but really sad Immensité isn't included - if only they would have more than just 4 bonus tracks!!! They have so much space left on that second disc...

I really hoped for Immensite as well. I love the song. As for Ziggy... it's a song I always skip.

I thought Le Miracle was the perfect way to end Un Seule Fois. I know one of the friends that came with me to the show didn't like that it ended with the song, however I thought it was brilliant. It was a different ending than usual and has a great message.

I'll try to explain this ispn s much of laymans terms as possible. There's articles in french. In this case le immensite wouldn't work (because of the double vowel between the two) So, to combine them the french use an aprostephe and make l'immensite. It's like a contraction in English. And the title is just the word Immensité.

Loved the bonus tracks but it would be great if we also had "Immensité and even "S'il n'en restait qu'une" live.

The videos of the bonus songs should also be on the DVD. ;)

 

I love Et S'il N'en Restait Qu'une. I love that song. And it will be nice if those songs are on the DVD! Hopefully they will be along with the audio of them! ;)

Ah well, we know how it works and I am already over the moon to have this concert on bluray. What a treasure!

But I still think, maybe because I was there that night, my concert in Antwerp the 21th was pure magic. And in Bercy she even did it better.

In fact she was best during this tour. But I can remember how excited we all were about Une Seule Fois that particular night. She might not have been

vocally at her best, I don't know , I have to see that, but it is great we finally have this concert on bluray and cd/dvd.

I think we should just be happy with the release. It's pretty much every thing people had asked for, if not more, and they did it without building a year of hype. They just announced it. We can pre-order it on her website next week. We should just enjoy the fact it was recorded at all, and be grateful.

 

As to the talk about D'elles, I believe this article is posted somewhere on the Mini-tour thread, but one of the reasons she said it made her cry was that they had a lot going on in their lives at that time. I think she connects to music the same way most of us do--what it marks in time for us, and represents in our lives. It could just be that, for her, D'elles is a difficult album to include on anything. She said she loved the album, and she regretted not having more time to promote it (I will look for the interview tomorrow and try to add it here), but she also said it made her sad because at that time they had no time in their life. So, I do not think a lack of D'elles on any live album is a sign she is not involved in a project, it could be just the reality that (1) D'elles was not an instant commercial success, and that plays a role in song selection and (2) it might just not be a project she wants to keep going back to, especially if their life was so hectic and difficult when she made the album. We really have no idea why things get picked, but a lack of songs does not prove her lack of involvement.

 

I am excited for this release, and personally have zero complaints about it. It was a nice surprise!

 

 

Some of the reactions about this release make me slightly dread when/if the "Incredible" video is ever released...

(this is not about the D'elles comments, but other discussions throughout this thread).

We haven't had a live version of Immensite on any official releases so far, but we have a lot of Ziggy live already...

But the choose Ziggy :(
