mebe Posted December 19, 2012 at 12:50 AM Posted December 19, 2012 at 12:50 AM I don't understand the enthusiasm regarding the "Attendre" song. I find it's the most boring song on the album along with "Tant de temps". To me, it's far from being a new "Pour que tu m'aimes encore". But it's just a matter of preferences... Quote
close_eyes Posted December 19, 2012 at 02:04 AM Posted December 19, 2012 at 02:04 AM Davey and Luis, I think the reason LPPF isn't charting on iTunes is because it's listed as 'Album Only'. I'm sure Sony wants to milk fans of both Céline and Johnny to buy the album to get this duet. Sneaky bastards! I expect it to be a single. That might be another reason the track is album only item on Itunes Quote Absolutely nothing is too much enough!

Have you figured out what they lyrics say? This song is a total revelt in favour of life and enjoying each and every minute we spend in it. And the structure the song has, ending each sentence with verbes in infinitive all the time and then it begins another sentence with them, I find its almost like poetry, a piece of art in the album Isn't an english translation in the forum? I can translate it for you if you want, just tell me 2 Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"

I can translate it for you if you want, just tell me That's what I think about it. It's a little masterpiece. And musically, it does have a build up... it never stops, "in crescendo" all the time, especially with the key change and the melody that keeps on climbing up to those falsetto notes. And it DOES have the same vibe PQTME has. It could have been written by JJG. After seeing Céline perform it at "en toute intimité" I'm totally convinced it could work as a third single, and marvelously! 1 Quote

I can translate it for you if you want, just tell me Thanks but that's ok I understand. My first language is French! But I still don't like the song. The melody is very boring to me. The general meaning of the song is great but those rhymes in the lyrics (comprendre, prendre, attendre, apprendre, tendre, dépendre...) I find it is boring. There are just too many...I'm sorry guys...I don't like it. But if it's a single and it becomes successful, I will be very happy! 1 Quote

LuisMa Posted December 21, 2012 at 01:40 PM Posted December 21, 2012 at 01:40 PM (edited) What is amazing about the sales of this album is that this year, the number 1 album in the US this week isn't selling as great as some other albums did in the past 5 years. Imagine that Celine's total in the world would place her in the US Top 5, which is incredible given the vast quantity of albums that should be selling better there, and aren't.
