So, this is shaping up to be her biggest hit album in terms of chart positions since A New Day Has Come - IF the longevity remains. Its already #1 in four countries on iTunes, and #1 on Amazon France, and when you combine the two versions of the album together on iTunes, its probably #1 in France too.

Amazing when you think that this is for all of Canada (airplay), not just Francophone chart.

Canada is 25% French and 75% English, so this is HUGE for Le Miracle in its first week.

It's annoying is what it is! I pre-ordered from the website, and so far I got nothing but a free digital download of Parler a Mon Pere! I just found out yesterday so now I'm annoyed and didn't even bother ordering it again through them. Ironically I only live 6 hours from Canada and this cd is made in the US! I don't get why they can't just put it on itunes!

they released "D'Eux" in the US as "The French Album" . .I also got S'il Suffisait D'Aimer and Dion Chante Plamondon easily in the US in the 1990s, and I don't think they were imports.

We can't tell already. Album was released 5 days ago. We need to wait for official charts.

 

Itunes is not really an indication. Digital sales are still low compared to physical sales.

 

And especially in non french-speaking countries, we can't rely on those figures. For example, in Spain, she was able to reach TOP30 on Itunes (which is fantastic for a french album) but an album released only digitally and reaching top5 in that country is not even able to enter official top 100 at the end of the week(ex:MelanieC's last album). On top of that, I guess that buyers from those countries are really big fans and they would tend to buy physical CDs.
