donpi86 Posted February 12, 2012 at 06:14 AM Posted February 12, 2012 at 06:14 AM The first 90's Divas to passed away... too soon... and one day before grammys.. too symbolic.. poor lady... RIP. Quote
Bóól'át'í Posted February 12, 2012 at 06:42 AM Posted February 12, 2012 at 06:42 AM Whitney Houston was my favorite artist of all time (no disrespect to this community). She truly was 'The Voice.' She was truly inspiring, iconic and legendary. To lose her and her artistry so soon is heartbreaking. But she leaves behind a legacy of artistry that will forever remain timeless and powerful. I hope she finds peace and happiness wherever she is now. RIP Whitney. La Diva Houston has taken her final bow. Quote
dj4celine Posted February 12, 2012 at 08:01 AM Posted February 12, 2012 at 08:01 AM Just shocking! Vic, Annie Horth tweeted that Celine is down with a viral. So I doubt it would be possible for her to make an appearance tomorrow. Maybe in some later tribute ceremony. Quote
Edwin Posted February 12, 2012 at 08:48 AM Posted February 12, 2012 at 08:48 AM Don't take Annie's tweet out of context. She was responding to someone who wondered about Celine cause she cancelled the Feb 4th show and Annie was just clarifying that Celine cancelled due to illness [not due to the same issues of Whitney]... I do not think she meant it as Celine still being sick as of right now. Quote

sayyed Posted February 12, 2012 at 09:42 AM Posted February 12, 2012 at 09:42 AM (edited) This is so sad. She was in such a horrible condition these years and it was just a matter of time before something like this happened. It' still devastating. I hope she can find her peace now. Her music and that voice will live on. I'm sure Céline is heartbroken to hear the news. Edited February 12, 2012 at 09:43 AM by sayyed Quote https://soundcloud.com/finnremixes

Or maybe do half Michael/half Whitney? I don't think so but who knows, she might do so! Honestly I'm still in shock, I just can't believe we've lost Whitney Houston. Every time I listened to I Will Always Love You I was amazed by that VOICE, and I just can't believe it now. Here's the one that has always been my favorite live performance of hers R.I.P. Javito Posted February 12, 2012 at 10:22 AM Posted February 12, 2012 at 10:22 AM I feel devastated. DE-VAS-TA-TED. One of my true inspirations and a leader voice for thousands of singers, including Céline  Whitney is the reason why many singers do sing today and started a career in this business. Why the hell she has to go? OMG Please Céline go there and pay tribute today in the Grammys! She went without dueting with Celine in the end Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"
Celine Fan 77 Posted February 12, 2012 at 10:30 AM Posted February 12, 2012 at 10:30 AM This made me realize that, after all, we'll always remember our idols for what they have accomplished and for what they mean to us, so I don't know if I'll ever complain again when I find something in Celine's career that I don't like. Whitney, we'll always love you. Quote Tournée Européenne in Paris (December 1, 2013)Céline Dion Live 2016 in Antwerp (June 20, 2016)Céline Dion Live 2017 in Birmingham (July 27, 2017)
rojurado Posted February 12, 2012 at 10:32 AM Posted February 12, 2012 at 10:32 AM It's very sad the piece of new. But let's be honest: This is what happens when you abuse of drugs for years. It has happened many times in history of business entertainment(M.Jackson, Amy Winehouse ...) I hope this helps people see that DRUGS ARE ALWAYS BAD, PUT DRUGS OUT OF YOUR LIFE,NEVER TRY THEM EVEN ONCE. Whitney, I'll miss you so much. Quote

Let's leave the drug talk alone until we know for sure. The investigators said there is no evidence of drug use or drug paraphernalia. ashtonelijah Posted February 12, 2012 at 10:53 AM Posted February 12, 2012 at 10:53 AM Comment by Céline according to Italia: "When I started my career, I wanted to be like her. I loved her so much. She was responding to someone who wondered about Celine cause she cancelled the Feb 4th show and Annie was just clarifying that Celine cancelled due to illness [not due to the same issues of Whitney]... I do not think she meant it as Celine still being sick as of right now. Oh ok! I didn't see the previous tweet as someone clubbed it with her responding to not being present at the tribute. If it is so, then there might be slight possibility of Celine being there. But I highly doubt it cos the Grammys confirmed only JHud to be the one paying her the tribute. It's just too sad People has the quote from Céline: "When I started my career, I wanted to be like her. I loved her so much. My prayers go out to her daughter and to all of her family."
