In remembrance of Whitney Houston, who passed away today, I thought it would be nice to have a topic of everything to do with these two powerhouse vocalists. Any videos, interviews, pictures, etc. of Celine and Whitney should be compiled in this topic.I'm sure that Whitney's death will have a huge impact on Celine -- considering how much of an impact Whitney had on Celine's career. Here Celine Dion performed "The Greatest Love of All" as a tribute to Whitney in one of her shows. If I remember correctly, this is from Station Soleil in 1988. I've always loved this performance.

I hope so, celine needs to fly out and make this happen, put the family and the recording sessions on hold for a minute she's also a singer and performer and needs to be at the Grammys tomorrow to pay respect to Whitney with all the other entertainers. Rene needs to make this happen no doubt ken her director of her Vegas show who also does the Grammys called Celine... I hope Celine makes this a duty and goes if invited

It's too short notice between today and tomorrow's telecast to plan something bigger. Otherwise I think more stars would come out and pay tribute. I think there will be still a big tribute from the stars like with MJ but tomorrow is way too soon to assemble something bigger. I think Jennifer Hudson will do it justice.

I don't think Celine will go to the Grammys, maybe she will though but I doubt it. She'll probably give a message tomorrow or something. Maybe she'll sing a song for Whitney in one of her shows? But it would be nice if Celine went to the Grammys. The producers of the show are probably going crazy right now about making a tribute. I can only imagine what her daughter feels like. RIP Whitney

 

Celine is probably crying her eyes out right now because we know how she takes these kinds of things to heart, especially when it's someone she knows and admires tremendously.

This news is so shocking. I don't understand it. Whitney looked so healthy, the best she's looked in a long time. I'm so much in shock right now. I have always respected Whitney and her wonderful talent. In my opinion Whitney is one of the only singers that come close to matching Celine's amazing powerful voice. She will be truly missed.
