Sur Les Plaines wasn't really a real Celine concert (too much of solo performances by other singers and too much duets). But what I'm interested in hearing is Pour sue tu maims encore, Treat Her Like a Lady, I'm Alive, I Drove All Night... Those songs. I don't care to hear the Vegas songs. I want to hear the songs she hasn't sung lately. Especially the upbeat ones... I'm dying to be reminded that Céline can still be young, fresh, upbeat... I don't know if it was recorded, but definitely not broadcasted live. The setlist was good in my opinion, like a mix of her latest world tour and her current show in Las Vegas. I wonder why she didn't perform some songs from the A New Day Has Come and Taking Chances albums. Both title tracks from this couple of albums would have worked really great in an event of this type. I'm still very curious about I Drove All Night. Wanna know, like I said earlier today, which playback she used ('cause I'm almost 100% sure she did not sing it live). I'm also curious about the reaction of the audience to Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore, I don't know if it's a famous song for the jamaican audience; but definitely for her fans there. I really hope she did that "sing along" part she used to do while touring in certain places. That's quite a powerful moment. I can't describe how anxious I am for Treat Her Like A Lady and I'm Alive, but specially for the first one. I am quite sure that the remix of IA was the one from the world tour. We only have 1 live performance of THLAL (and it's from 1998, which was 14 years ago). I wonder how she sang this song last night. The rest of the setlist is quite clear, I'm sure WDMHBN was done with the Vegas playback, the same for the IACBTMN/TPOL medley. I'm also convinced that Beauty and the Beast was performed in the shortened version from the Vegas show. Another interesting point is Mr. Paganini; I love its new arrangement. There's a reason they blocked the show from being shown live, and I am 99% sure it is because her Vegas playbacks were used in the show. Any official release would ruin a future Vegas DVD, as they would have to dub the vocals again like they did for the TCWT DVD.After seeing that photo I think I prefer it to the one she actually wears in Vegas for the Bond Medley. It looks AMAZING! I have a feeling that bond dress may ''possibly'' replace the black one... hmmm Quote

I have to admit to being fairly surprised that we've not seen one single bit of footage at all yet and i'm certainly surprised the concert wasn't streamed live. As someone has already mentioned most, if not all, music festivals broadcast their headline acts live online and on national TV. Certainly here in the UK the major festivals are broadcast live as they happen whoever is headlining. The BBC made a HUGE fuss over Beyonce's headline performance at Glastonbury last year and, yes you guessed it, streamed it live online and broadcast it on national television. The ONLY reason I can imagine that broadcast rights weren't allowed for this performance was due to her contract with Caesars Palace. What else could it be? It just beggars belief that they have chosen to set up in Las Vegas again (nothing wrong with that) and the ONE performance she gives away from there that her worldwide audience might have a chance to see they block us all out. Unbelievable! Now the positives there's no doubt that Celine looks AMAZING at the moment, she's never looked better in fact. I only hope she sounded as good. I'm not gonna discuss the playback issue again, I just hope the songs we know are performed live are amazing. I'm also looking forward to hearing the "non Vegas" songs, in particular "I'm Alive." I think people who are forever requesting songs like "Taking Chances" and "A New Day Has Come" have to finally accept songs like these are not considered part of the "classics" and have had all the live performances we're going to see of them. Sad but probably true. We'll always have "the classics" - you know the ones - and we'll get new songs performed when new albums are released and then quickly forgotten about again.
