Changes to the show?

I really don't understand why they added The Christmas Song...are they going to keep that through the end of this run in March? Or just sing it for the next few nights?

Yeah, this makes 0 sense considering that her latest run of shows has started AFTER Christmas. Have we found out yet where in the show it is?

14 jours a' Vegas! Quelle chance! Je serai la dans une semaine aussi.

I don't find it particularly *that* unusual, cause even though it's after Christmas.... it is *still* the holiday season after all.

I was in Vegas last year for her Dec 30/31 and early January shows and she sang The Prayer.

Granted - she added The Christmas Song this year to the list, but I don't see it as "not making sense". To each their own, I guess.

I'll be in Vegas in mid-January, and I'll let you know if she will still be singing Christmas songs... lol! ;)

Anyone have any news? Any wardrobe changes? Is the mj cello trip still awkwardly in place after Rolling in the deep? When does she sing the Christmas song? I'm imagining after my heart will go on? So many questions!

My guess is that she sings The Prayer instead of Overjoyed (like last year) and then she goes into The Christmas Song, right before At Seventeen.

I think they actually have multiple ticket photos...I don't know if its for different purchase outlets or just different rolls of ticket paper, but I got tht one back in August when I picked up my ticket at will call, and then when ticketmaster mailed me the hard tickets I got a different picture.

I picked up my tickets at will call in June and I'm quite sure they had the regular photo on them. So perhaps they have different paper. That being said I should check the tickets once I remember where I put them... oh dear

(In brief , ...Few changes are anticipated for this new leg of the show. On the contrary, as reported by Canoe, they even decided to remove elements of staging and build upon the idea of the voice and the artist, which is the main attraction.)

(In brief: The only real change in the programme is that the singer will incorperate Season songs for Christmas, such as "The Prayer" and "The Christmas Song.")

In brief: Later in the show Celine will perform a nod to Michael Jackson. So either they are behind on the times or it's back in? It also says that for the moment none of the songs from "Sans Attendre" will be added into the show.

of course no changes, why would they, because they think the power of love, because you loved me, it's all coming back to me now etc are the only songs that score ( WRONG THOUGHT - TEAM CELINE!) And that is how they want Celine to be remembered , as the woman who had a few hits and is the queen of covering well known songs. Completing ignoring the past and all the wonderful songs Celine can add to the setlist.

The last thing she needs is to remove anything from the stage. It's fine the way it is. Have any of you ever been to a half-empty performance?? Go look at Sunday's show. It's only half-sold at best! Sucky time of year, mind you

I'll be there Sunday. I hope I can move up 100 rows or so! lol

Let us know what it's like. I just bought tickets for my parents in March (making them go while they're in vegas :) When I went it was full. If you check ticketmaster there's tons left for Sunday. You should get an upgrade no prob Edited by Kyle_Jared

But for the sake of being a fan, I'd hate to think of Celine performing to a room full of people that got half price tickets.

well it's bound to happen I guess from time to time. January is a really crappy time to bring people in. It's right after the holidays and people are broke. Not to mention the U.S. economy stinks right now. So the very first weekend in January would logically be a tough time....it's not even hot in Vegas now.

Well that's definitely a change! I wonder what's in store for the Feb. 26th show?? I can't wait!
I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.

The Carpenters made a hit of "A Song For You" in 1972. Christina's version (though I'm a fan of her) is BLECH. I can't wait to hear this!

It could potentially be a soulful song.
