yes, "Alone" is a cover, but it's on her Taking Chances record, and she kills it live. With that orchestra it would be amazing and add a nice kick to the show. I totally would love to see that added.

I'm confused. Isn't A Song For You on Celine's Taking Chances album? Is this the same song she is singing in Vegas, or a different one with the same name?

Apparently she is singing "a song for you" made famous in the 1970s by Leon russel. It is not a song for you from taking chances. It's actually a pretty great song and fits her good.. I hope we have a bootleg of this soon.. If not ill be at the show next Sunday 1.13 and will try to record what I can

Did anyone actually hear her sing that song in vegas? We were in tonight's show and she sang the reason, not a song for you. But her voice sounded a bit tired so maybe they put the reason back in to make it easier for her. I wonder if its only a rumour that she's singing the new song since I heard about it before back in June and she never actually sang it back then.

I know someone who recorded Celine singing A Song For You, Apparently it was just for one show. I'm not sure

Another thing that annoys me is that from her extensive repertoire of music, in the show there is nothing after 1998. Everything is old, everything has been played over and over again since 1992, the most recent song is Rolling in the Deep and it's not even hers. It's like all her albums from the new millennium are banned from "classy".

Last millennium Celine is classy, new millennium Celine is trashy??

I would simply die if Nothing Broken But My Heart was added... I used to listen to the song "Water From The Moon" and specifically think of someone...but now I'm SOOOO OVER that (not the song, but the person) and NBBMH applies so much more in each lyric. That song, Have You Ever Been In Love, These Are The Special Times....all BEAUTIFUL songs that would sound amazing with her voice and an orchestra.

Soooo, it seems like:

"The Reason" (which is a fan favourite and included in the show because Céline wanted it there) is STILL in the show.
It has not been confirmed that "The Christmas Song" was ever performed in 2012.
"A Song For You" (Leon Russell song) was *maybe* performed, however, we have NO REAL CONFIRMATION (fan testimonial, audio/video) that it was performed.

THEREFORE, the setlist has remained the same (except the potential replacement of "Overjoyed" with "The Prayer" like last year at this time).

Here are some of my favourites voice modulation from last bootleg (30th December).

It includes the end of You'll Have To Swing It (so versatile), the bridge of River Deep, Mountain High (her voice seemed a little tired, so she adapted... and surprising for sure) and the humming of My Heart Will Go On (only tight changes but so DIVA as usual)

I was there on NYE, and she sang "A Song for You" (and said it was their first time doing it.) "The Reason" was gone that night. We got "The Prayer" instead of Stevie Wonder. I had no idea we were getting a new song, though - or that it would be a one-night thing apparently! lol. Wish I had a bootleg for you guys :down:

I quite love the show. Those that haven't seen it shouldn't judge it based on the song list. It's an experience. I'm looking forward to seeing the changes made since the premiere.
