Anyway... is it confirmed that she's gonna release Open Arms on the album and as the lead single?? :shrug: I don't really know why is that you're having this conversation... Is there any article saying so?? Like with the "rumor" about only 3 new songs on the album... Where is that??? :hmm: Where did you get that from??? :confused:

About OA as single it´s not official, it´s only idea of one of forum members, who wrote that he/she thinks that Open arms will be first single. But about 3 new songs on new album it´s not rumor, Rene told that in some interviews, but it was months ago, and after postoped of realising new album to 2012, we hope that finally they change their minds about new album and there will be more new songs.

Really it doesn't matter what they chose as a lead "single" as sadly for Celine there really isn't such a thing nowadays. Radio ignore her songs and tv ignore her videos so really just hoping for a quality album is where i'm at as i came to peace with the fact long ago that whatever Celine and Sony do they just wont have an impact on the singles charts any longer.

Yes, I remember she said that she had lots of fun recording Taking Chances and really enjoyed this "different" experience, but she also said that she wanted to come back with an evening gown album. I associate the "evening gown" concept to a LTAL-alike album.

 

I think she said this in 2010, but there's no video of that interview, it was in an interview from a magazine.

Yeah... :whistling: For once I came up with the title of a song that should be delivered to Céline and be released as the first single in the upcoming album: "Did I Say That?"

 

It would be a chart topper :innocent:

according to the interview on gala magazine days ago the new english album will come out on april 2012 and they are going to record the songs this month... nothing is said about what songs... but I wanna believe that they will make a new album and not celines show studio versions... they should leave that for when they make the dvd of th show... now we want new material. the french album goes to october 2012!

gorgeous trailer..

yes my heart will go on is there and with a bell in it.. but the bell is also in a part of the trailer so it adds to the drama I guess. The rest of the song seems still the same, except that they now use the LTAL-album version, which I like more than the TITANIC movie version:-)

you think so?? I think the movie version sounds more synthesiser-like, misses the drama and the big drums in the LTAL version. There are more instruments involved in that version , whereas the other one, the movie one, contains a glass electric piano mainly and the strings. and towards the end I miss the emotion from the LTAL version. But then again, that is just my opinion :-)

Probably not, but they could release a remastered version.

 

Is that possible? or is it already too good quality?

 

 

If the movie is hit success, do you think MHWGO will reach the top of the charts again?

I don't think MHWGO will reach the TOP of the charts again, but I hope it'll get airplay and more sales again! In the US it wouldn't be able to chart again because it was already on the Hot 100, but it might be able to chart on the Digital Songs Chart!

 

Also, I've always liked the soundtrack version of MHWGO better than the LTAL version. Even though I love both, I feel that the soundtrack version is more authentic and raw! (And I know that's because it was the original demo ;) ).

I just hope she's involved some way- there probably will be a good bit of promotion from Camern's end of things, hopefully she'll do an odd performance, just for old times sake

Her voice is the same on both versions, it's just the music that's different en there are no background singer in the soundtrack version. The only difference I can hear is the ending where 'will go ooooohohooon" is going up in the soundtrack version. I think she just rerecorded that part.
