Nmj Posted March 11, 2011 at 08:48 PM Posted March 11, 2011 at 08:48 PM (edited) The Orginal Plan was to bring the TCWT to Las Vegas, truly i would have liked that more than this Because you know it would have almost been the same as TCWT but they would have changed some songs for sure, and then they could have added some different hits and there you go its a perfect show and nobody will fall asleep because the only slow song would be "My Love" and that's a beautiful song, now we have a Lullaby, At Seveenteen, If you cant..., three slow songs that arent hers and oh yeah throw in the slow french song... and shes really gonna see some gamblers drooling like babies in their seats now! She was mad last time and that show had great things happening on stage, and mostly up-tempo songs, what til this All thats missing in this show is "Smile", "I knew I Loved You" and we have a new show called... Hope they will wake up till the premiere I agree with Javito, and not only about Eddy but where is Barbra Streisand then? I agree too about the idea of bringing the tour to Vegas. Looked there we had 5 completely new songs in regular setlists, also IA and IDAN post 2000, IYA and TP post 1997, at the same time we had the biiiiiiigest hits as well as her own French songs and what's more, we had tribute to Queen and Soul Medley (composed of covers). So they could modify it of course, change the covers, maybe add some too, change hits a little bit and even cut some new songs (SOL) but still we would have more her own songs... Nevertheless, we can't have it so I just hope they will realise how sleepy and calm this show is, and will just try some other songs. I don't ask for much. But 3/4 songs of her own would be enought for me. And definitely her French song. I woudn't critise MHWGO, because 1) we all knew it will be included 2) it's her biggest hit 3) and after all I still love it and can't imagine a concert without it though it could be somewhere in the middle for example. We already have a dozen or so performances of this song, and all but 2 are crap. This is one of her worst up-tempos to be performed live. It has a terrible 90's Nsync sound that is outdated, and of course the live vocals for this have been a complete mess.I second that! It's an eternal classic song and one of the most beloved french classics Wrong, it's probably THE best french song ever witten of all time... and it has to be sung by the best singer in the world imo. Great choice Céline! Can't wait to hear Céline interpret that gem. Quote
