that was what I was thinking too.. it was almost like you were afraid to tell you don't like everything in this album. But don't worry ,that is your opinion and you are completely free to tell that as I have said before, so many people, so many tastes, that makes the world interesting.

For me this album is very good. I haven't listened to it in it totality, since I will be having the real cd soon, but again, never be afraid to give your opinion!

I just realized I may have not listened to everything. I heard the youtube clips but this wasn't on them.

I actually liked that one. i twasn't amazing but it had a nice melody and some interest in it. i somehow have a feeling that they didn't record it together but did a Celine/Barbra thing. it doesn't make any difference though

 

 

As for Timster and Brownsceline. I am never afraid, just protesting over the last time I expressed my opinion against this albumm

Yes according to the man I spoke to in HMV. We often get releases on the Friday before the official release date.

I'm hoping that I will have finally listened to the album by tomorrow.

I wonder why this time no DVD, almost all her releases had one with behind the scenes!

I've only listened to the album once (I've been pretty busy this week) but I like it a lot so far!! The tracks that stood out to me were Qui peut vivre sans amour, Attendre, Moi quand je pleure, and Si je n'ai rien de toi. I LOVE Ne me quitte pas!! I'm glad we have a proper recording now instead of just Vegas bootlegs.

 

I know a lot of you hate the album artwork, but I love it. It's creative and different.

 

I'm so excited for my copy of the CD to come in the mail!

My review of the songs for now after my first listening

 

Parler a mon pere (lovely good song)

 

Le Miracle (okay, don't know for single material but it has a Christmas feeling to it, so who knows good choice for now)

 

Qui Peut Vivre Sans Amour (rocksound I love it, but maybe a bit misplaced on this album, good be good single though)

 

Attendre (also single material, amazing melody)

 

Une chance qu'on s'a (emotional wow)

 

La Mer Et L'Enfant (lovely sweet song)

 

Moi Quand Je Pleure (wow what a happy melody, and she sounds soo good her voice is AMAZING does some nice things with it, a real feel good song, but the lyrics are telling another story, could be an single)

 

Cells Qui M'a Tout Appris (nice but does nothing special at the moment for me)

 

Je N'ai Pas Besoin D'Amour (somehow it sounds like 2 different songs, love the Une petit petit parts though, but it needs to grow on me)

 

Si Je N'Ai Rien De Toi (LOVE IT!! Elodie Hesme, and David Gategno are a good couple, and for the high notes people, she does it here)

 

Que Toi Au Monde (beautiful, moving, the way she sings)

 

Tant De Temps (wow love the sound, but for me I would love to have a version with only Celine her voice. Not that this duet isn't good,or he is a bad singer, but she sounds freaking amazing on it haha)

 

Les Petits Pieds De Léa (sweet song, but she whispers too much for me)

 

Ne Me Quitte Pas (no words for it, I love this song, and wanted a HQ version of it, so I am happy)

 

Les Jours Comme Ça (weird to end the album with this uptempo song, but damn what a good song!! Love the echo sound on it, screams SINGLE SINGLE for me!!

 

I think she deliverd a very very solid album!

Would love to have an English album like this!!

 

It's in my top 3 of her French discs! They really did an amazing job!!!

Her voice is in top shape!

I finally got my copy and listened to it for the first time. I must admit that the first half is not my thing. My favourite tracks are Attendre, Celle Qui M'a Tout Appris, Si Je N'ai Rien De Toi, Que Toi Au Monde (En Cours) and the magnificent Ne Me Quitte Pas. It's a solid album with a few surprises. For some reason I can't relate to her voice like I used to on some tracks. Maybe it's just a grower. I'll write a full review in few days.

I was happy with the lightness of those images that were intended as caricatures, in a way. It kinda lighten up / alleviate the emotions. I never do photoshoots. I haven't had one done in like "20 years", I can't believe it! Then I take pictures, I look at them and they're amazing. I don't mean to be pretentious, but look, the photographer Alix did a wonderful job with the lights and everything. I feel beautiful, Annie Horth, Zane and the whole gang made my hair look amazing. I do love myself on those pictures. And then I think "For once I love my pictures, and in the end it's a caricature on the cover! Is that a joke or what?"...

So...

After having listened to some more songs...

 

Qui peut vivre sans amour - screamy and not special but overall nice and gives us the amount of screaming we need for an album (despite the fact that I am not big fan of the lyricsending which

 

Moi, Quand je pleure - the only actual GOOD song in the album. I feel the lyrics, I love Stanislas' back up vocals, I love the ending which has Celine as an echo.

 

Attendre - nice song but... i don't know, reminds me of elevator music... is a little bit empty..

 

Le miracle - sympa but no more.

 

Ne me quitte pas - no one can do harm to this song but i don't think it has place in this album, and in general if she already covers it in an album, i would have prefered it to be different than how she does it in the show, not the exact copy...

 

all the other songs are not worth mentioning..

Guys i have to say how impressed i am with this album! I cant stop listening to it!

 

For me this is a solid album, full of great songs! I dont think ive ever listened to a celine french album and like nearly ever song on it. I love her french albums but i do find myself on the skip button alot more. Delles for me was great...... but i found it boring the more i played through the album. This album on the other hand, i am captured and have to keep listening.

 

I do think for us english speaking fans, the french songs have to have something different to make us feel interested in the songs. What im trying to say is the songs really need to get our attention or they can get ignored. With this album i am more captured than any other french album. This could be one of my Favorite french albums.

 

I love how the duets break up the album and keep the album fresh as you listen to it. Her voice sounds amazing, alot better that Delles in my opinion, although i didnt notice untill hearing how great she sounds on this album.

 

I just cant stop listening to the songs, and i think ive found my new Favorite french song which could knock "Dans un autre monde" off its high pedestal..... i dont know.... I will see after hearing the song over and over once i get my album!

 

 

Celine Dion: Sans attendre

 

1. "Parler à mon père" [ 9/10] Always loved this song since i first head it, i think its a great album opener

2. "Le miracle" [ 8/10] Great Great song, perfect second single as it sounds sooo christmasy, love it

3. "Qui peut vivre sans amour?" [10/10] I LOVE THIS SONG, CANT GET ENOUGH OF IT

4. "L'amour peut prendre froid" [7/10]

5. "Attendre" [8/10] I liked what someone said about this is like the 2012 pour que tu m'aimes encore!

6. "Une chance qu'on s'a" [7/10] Love this duet...was always excited because i loved the duet they did in Quebec

7. "La mer et l'enfant" [2/10] For me sadly this song will be a SKIP

8. "Moi quand je pleure" [ 7/10] Heaven in the ears, its so soft and her voice is amazing.... the echo's are great!

9. "Celle qui m'a tout appris" [ 9/10] Great Great song! Powerful vocals here, the adlib too

10. "Je n'ai pas besoin d'amour" [ 8/10] in love with the chorus- needs repeating more, twice is so rubbish for how beautiful it is

11. "Si je n'ai rien de toi" [10/10] JUST WOW!

12. "Que toi au monde" [ 7/10]

13. "Les petits pieds de Léa" [10/10] I cant decide how much i like this song yet, i really really love it! it sounds so beutiful

15. "Ne me quitte pas" [10/10] i was never impressed by this song, but this recording has made me fall in love with it

16. "Les jours comme ça" [ 7/10] Its nice to have another upbeat song on this album

whole Album - [9/10]

 

Overall the album is fantastic! The music, the voice! I love this album, i think we are very lucky to have this album! This CD for sure will proudly sit in her repertoire.

 

To end my sorta review i just wanted to say....... I have never been on Celinedion.com since these songs have been on there. I have to say they are doing a much better job just lately

 

Cant wait for you lot who are waiting to hear the album when you get the CD (Davey, john.........) Im sure your going to love it, and id love to see your reviews.

 

Now i just need to wait patiently for the album to come in the post .............................. Waiting .........

Before, I forgot to listen to "Si je n'ai rien de toi" so I do have to say it's also nice.. although a little expectable... and that is without talking about the lyrics that are just... not good... :/

 

But Attendre is really getting likable by me.... it's on repeat at the moment...

 

and I put the album on my Ipod to get abit more time to listen to it and get a better opinion...

 

BTW why is the duet with Johnny not in the album?
