Les Petits Pieds de Léa really moved me to tears.. Breathtakingly beautiful lyrics.

And am I the only one who thinks Moi Quand Je Pleure is a little boring? It is very predictable, and not in a good way  But I think that's the only song I will skip, I love this album already, after just one listen :)

The album is very orchestral as her show in Vegas .)

Yes. I wonder if it'll be hard for her to go back to the set list she sings for Vegas after promoting Sans Attendre? Well probably not. It would be so wonderful if she threw in a few tracks!!! :giggle:

Think i must be the only one who hasn't listened to it!! :giggle:

Is so sad that "Je n’ai pas besoin d’amour" only repeat the chorus 2 times.

Because is extremely beautiful, I wanted to hear it at least 3 times... that dissapoint me a little bit honestly.

I loved the song, but I hoped something more, because the chorus is SO perfect, then the rest of the song become small and

I felt that don't fit the chorus with the rest of the song. :pinch:

I don't know, but defenetly the chorus should be repeated more than only 2 times. -_- -_- -_-

Je n’ai pas besoin d’amour has hooked me since that 15 second clip emerged on YouTube weeks ago - and having listened to the whole album, it is absolutely my favourite song.

Céline Dion, music's greatest ever singer, the biggest-selling Canadian artist of all-time and most successful female live act ever - what's not to love?

I'm in love with Si je n'ai rien de toi  and Attendre (the best surprise after I had listened to the 30 sec previews!!! I hope the 3rd single will be Si je n'ai rien de toi.

VERY strong album!!!!

OK, I managed to listen to it on celinedion.com through my phone and... WOW!!! I LOOOOVE it, it's just amazing! Can't wait to hear it in good quality!

Thank you Celine and thank you friends! I truly had the time of my life!

No. But I only heard a preview, I'll have to wait for the full song to decide. To me it sounds different from the one in that video from Vegas where we colud hear a part of the song in the background (remeber?). Or...maybe it's just my mistake?

ok, so I just arrived at home after my French lessons and the first thing I did was to listen to Sans Attendre at the official website. This is my review:

1. Parler à mon Père

Was it my excitement or the arrangements from the album version are slightly different than the single version? Maybe it's just my imagination, anyway, I think it's an amazing song to open the album and, although I've already listened to it more than 200 times, It still amazes me every time.

2. Le Miracle

Great choice for a second single! I love the chorus and the mood that the song puts the listener into. Can't wait for the music video! Céline's voice is very sweet and charming on this particular track. At first I though that it would be very "child-ish" but no! It's great and I'm glad they chose it as the second single. It really defines the full concept of the entire record.

3. Qui Peut Vivre Sans Amour?

This song got me excited since David Gategno said on an interview, earlier this year or in late 2011, that Céline showcases her vocal power on this track. Not only the arrangements are stunning (specially that electric guitar that really surprised me at the end) but also Céline's voice, it's so powerful! Definitely my favorite song from the entire album, I hope she sings it during the TVA special and that it will be released as a single.

4. L'amour Peut Prendre Froid

Surprisingly, this track isn't included on the official site's album preview! Anyway, I'm still excited especially after seeing what Céline Dion and Johnny Hallyday can do when they get together. Blueberry Hill is not my cup of tea, but L'envie is out of this world! Let's see if they top that one this time.

5. Attendre

A great song. The fact that it gives a tittle to the album makes me expect some promotion for this song. They wouldn't surprise me if they pick it as the next single, and that would be a pleasure! At first I though it was going to be a little bit repetitive, but this song takes you...

6. Une Chance Qu'on S'a

One of the songs that got me more excited! It's so interesting to see that it's actually Céline the one who starts singing the song instead of Jean-Pierre Ferland, who started singing it on the Sur Les Plaines concert. This new studio version gave me chills, Ferland's voice is so strong and what can I tell you about Céline's... I hope they do something with that English version Ferland proposed to her and René last August.

7. La Mer et L'enfant

Lovely song. The sound of the sea took me to another world at the beginning of the track. The lyrics are so beautiful and Céline's voice sounds so sweet... No words, it really surprised me, I was expecting something on the line of Berceuse, but what a great surprise!

8. Moi Quand Je Pleure

It's nice and mid-tempo. I love the echo-effect on this song, it's like Céline's voice is reflected over her tears when she is crying (like the song says). I have to re-watch the interview with Maxime Le Forestier from September of 2011 to check her singing a part of the song acapella!

9. Celle Qui M'a Tout Appris

What a touching song. I love when she sings "Et même", I don't know why but it touches me. I think it's somehow like a Parler à mon Père but this time for her mother, who, thank God, is still alive. But on this song Céline realizes how important her mother's been in her life and how powerful the link between them is.

10. Je N'ai Pas Besoin D'amuor

No words to describe this song. I understand now why Céline and René cried when they first listened to it back in 2009, it's so powerful to hear Céline Dion saying that she doesn't need love, flowers, lovers, attention, affection and all that stuff, like a hard and strong woman during the entire song, but the most powerful and touching moment comes at the end, when she realizes that she actually needs love after asking for help.

11. Si Je N'ai Rien De Toi

Love it! After reading the lyrics, I immediately remembered Whitney Houston's I Have Nothing, 'cause the message of both songs is very very similar. It's a very emotional song, but I always tough this one was actually the one Luc Plamondon wrote for Céline, because René made a mistake once when he said "yes, Luc Plamondon wrote a new song for Céline called "Rien Que Toi"... haha anyway, another wonderful song!

12. Que Toi Au Monde

I've been listening to Davide Esposito's version since last Friday and I was like unable to wait to hear these powerful lyrics on Céline's voice. I think the lyrics are slightly different here but it's great! The story that the song tells can touch even the coldest heart. I agree with Plamondon when he says that this is the most powerful song has written since L'amour Existe Encore.

13. Les Petits Pieds De Léa

Probably the most touching song from the entire album. It's not easy to make me cry, but this song almost did it! You can't help it when you think of the baby Céline lost in 2010, it's beyond everything! I can't wait to see some footage of the recording session this Sunday night at the TVA special.

14. Ne Me Quitte Pas

Yes, finally a clean and high quality studio version. I think this is historic. I mean, one of the most iconic voices on the French music scene has finally recorded this emblematic theme known around the world. I think this is going to be a hit, wait and see... By the way, the silences during this song give more power to it!

15. Les Jours Comme Ça

So uplifting after listening to such a sad song like NMQP. I'm affraid that we won't get much more information about this song, and it's going to be forgotten soon (I hope I'm wrong). It's so surprising that they decided to close the album with such an uptempo track! Very nice.

Overall, I have to say that this is one of the most solid albums I've heard in a loong time, and I'm sure it's going to become a top seller!

She was recorded in spring (april-may) 2012 and september 2012 I´m not sure if there were some of those songs recorded in late 2011 or she was recorded only for english album in 2011.

If i speak for myself, this is exactly why i like it so much, The song feature someone who don't want to admit she needs love, i think at fortiori that she does not like tu repeat herself... but you are entitled to your opinion :flowers: This is exactly why this album will do great, a little something for everybody

Plus qu'ailleurs , but now Si c'était à refaire , i still love tant de temps....

the music is really RICH!! Lots of violins; like someone already mentioned, the album is very orchestral. A lot of work was put on that album! I love it....

Celine's vocals are just great, her voice took a lot of maturity. Its not nasal at all and very strong.

Still, i'm not ready to say that it beats SSDA.

I'm a bit disappointed with the lack of high notes (except si je n'ai rien de toi)... i hope the english album remedies to that ; )

If you receive the album tomorrow, will you be able to share "L'amour peut prendre froid" with us ?

I'm leaving on Thursday and won't be able to listen to the duet until I don't know when since I won't have any internet access... I don't think I can handle this... !!!

I would do anything for you to share it with us (or at least me !)
