Ronny83 Posted October 29, 2012 at 03:12 PM Posted October 29, 2012 at 03:12 PM I know I'll change the subject, the more I think that a little celine must atrsar your trip to Europe due to Furacao Sandy, someone knows something about it, and for what I see in the news is that several flights were canceled and the hurricane moves to New York and then Canada. She's not travelling to Europe this week. She's expected there for the end of November, in almost a month. Quote The Celine Dion Italian fanbase - CelineDionItalia.com
zenmeban Posted October 29, 2012 at 04:13 PM Posted October 29, 2012 at 04:13 PM Curious to know what inspired songwriters Maxime Le Forestier and Stanislas to write “Moi quand je pleure”? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=merOFxfr5b0http://www.celinedion.com/ca/videoshttp://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XNDY4NTIwMDA4.htmlhttp://thumbnails103.imagebam.com/21755/ae68e6217548155.jpg http://thumbnails105.imagebam.com/21755/2cc84d217548212.jpg http://thumbnails105.imagebam.com/21755/e68e8e217548280.jpg http://thumbnails101.imagebam.com/21755/0449c3217548381.jpg http://thumbnails104.imagebam.com/21755/40bfff217548473.jpg http://thumbnails102.imagebam.com/21755/58d7f5217548561.jpg Maxime Le Forestier: I really did a tailor-made job, I worked like a tailor. Writing a song for a great pop singer has been a fantasy of mine for a very long time. I always wanted to do it. And everytime I've tried, it went down the drain. With her, it's hard to find a better singer, and a more popular too, so it's like my greatest fantasy. I asked myself how I actually saw her. The first time I saw her on TV, she was like 16, and in Quebec the journalists and people who were hosting the talk shows, were really taking advantage of her sensibility. She would burst in tears in every single interview. That's why many years later, I did still see her as a fountain. [ Extract from Lise Payette interview: ("Will you swear to tell the truth?" -"Show-business is tough!") ] That's where the idea of "Moi quand je pleure" (Me, when I cry) came from, though exaggerating it a bit, because she's now at a time in her life when she can look at herself in the mirror and proudly smile, seeing what she's become. Stanislas: Right from the start, Maxime proposed it like a slogan, "Moi quand je pleure", it appeared so clearly to him. It highlights her fragility and puts the listener in a state of mind away from the glitter and the spotlight. And then it was an exchange between author and composer. As Maxime and I get along, we both tried to blend together into a common project, and that's not easy, but it was a pleasure to do it with Maxime. Maxime Le Forestier: Her life and career are intimately connected. I think people want her to talk about herself. So, if she sings some kind of story like "Once upon a time..." people won't be interested. They need to hear something about her, and she's doing a great job of it. With a genuine honesty. She does what she loves, she loves what she does. No cynicism, no calculation. She's completely coherent, and maybe that's why people like it. [song] Stanislas: I write for a voice, I write for a beautiful soprano with quite unlimited vocal capacities, and above all I try to have fun. I knew she could sing from low to high notes, so I took the bet. I wrote a song that could move me, but also that could show the whole range of her voice. It's like I wrote for a soloist! smw Posted October 30, 2012 at 02:46 AM Posted October 30, 2012 at 02:46 AM These new songs are truly leaving me speechless. She is exploring elements in her voice that she hasn't explored since the 1990s -- and even the 1980s. It's the first album that's encompassed each era of Celine's voice so clearly. This album is French to its core. Not trying to be anything other than all that's authentically Celine and her roots. So stunning. So, so, so stunning. I'm so proud of her/to be her fan right now. The perfect lullaby tonight. Congratulations Celine. Really touched by these recordings; her best work in ages. Quote
québecflower Posted October 30, 2012 at 02:56 AM Posted October 30, 2012 at 02:56 AM it is very good....not boring . Celine at her best, herself....Some big notes, but always very touching. Her best album i think, the most personnal at least. Very prood of her. Worth the wait. I did not like D'elles , maybe 2-3 good songs. This has 2-3 songs that i will skip, and not because they are not good, just not my cup of tea...Bravo Celine Quote Plus qu'ailleurs , but now Si c'était à refaire , i still love tant de temps....
