"Sans attendre" album - Official Topic

A little off topic, but I am getting beyond impatient for Sans Attendre to come out. A few more weeks can't be any more longer than what it feels like.

 

Me too! I even ordered the album from a store that is almost one third more expensive than the other stores, to get it on the 2nd! I Soo cant Wait!

I mentioned this earlier. If you look at the writing at the bottom you will see it says: "Producteur executif: Valerie Michelin pour VM in Team" - this is what the logo is for.

the more I look at that calendar......I don't like it. The whole package and album has such a childish look, girly esspecially...I think the booklet won't have any original photos either..

I don't understand why all Celine's albums are only aimed at women whereas Celine herself knows that she has male fans too. Most of the items in the boutique, Parfum samples in the cds, now this. I don't say it's ugly or sth but it's not for all of us. And I agree that inside there should be some real photos. Especially because the recent photoshoot has been really good.

Yes. I think she said that she thought it was a joke at first because she a did photo shoot for it. That was in a recent interview

I hate all that is related to this album's packaging. And I'm not saying this just to be mean, it really kills me to have such a promising album, but with such ridiculous artwork. It deserved something strong, personal, emotional, simple yet powerful. This is nothing like that. I would have been ok with this illustrated back cover if there was some good work on the front cover, but knowing the whole thing is gonna be just illustrations makes me sick and feel bad for Celine. Come on it's been 5 years. She hasn't done an official photoshoot in 5 years. And they come up with this SSHHIITT. In the era of image, high definition, 3D and everything... For the first time ever in Celine's career, this will be an album I only listen to, I'll forget about the packaging and everything, and it's a shame because it's supposed to be all part of an equation, all going along. But with this release, I don't really see the point in even buying the physical release, I never ever thought I'd say this about my favorite singer's new album. You can say I'm not a fan... No I'm clearly not a fan ...of Aurore Hutton D'Estaing !!!!!

I love the cover and the back also. It's different and for me it fits perfectly for this album. My favorite cover still 1fe4t.... I just love that laundry machine

It would be really weird the drawning cover and inside real pictures, it doesn't fit the theme. The only thing that i think they can do, is on the last page, where she puts all the thanks etc... Put one real photo with a drawning frame... Anyway... cover aside.... WHY IS TAKING SO LONG FOR THIS ALBUM TO LEAK? :clap:

For me i really like the theme, the drawings... it's the first time, all the other times there were official shoots,

covers and beautifull pictures in the booklet. And now we have something different, i really don't mind for her

french album, and look next year we have the english CD it will certainly have another beautiful photoshoot!!!

True about Les jours comme ca, but Taylor Swift's "Ours" and Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass" both came from the Deluxe Edition of their albums and became big hits, so it's possible!

 

Interesting, I didn't know that! However, wouldn't it be nonsensical to promote a slow/ballad album by 2 easy listening pop songs like PAMP and LJCC? We'll see! Sony might surprises us again!

well, this is my thought. front and back cover and even the booklet inside will be animated pictures. and the desk Calendar will be real-Celine shots :">. I have thought that right after SM announced that there would be 2 versions of Sans Attendre: Standard and Deluxe. That was the very reason why I pre-ordered the deluxe one :">. What a safe choice!

As I stated before - I don't like the cover either, especially because this is going to be a very serious album. A D'elles kind of cover would've been the best. But on the other side I think it has it's positivity - it fully concentrates the listener's mind on the songs.

I think the cover of the English album will be glamorous, because that one will be the complete opposite to "Sans Attendre" in terms of song climax. At least that's what I'm expecting.

It really is astonishing how negative some people can be. The artwork is fantastic. It is very specific so it will be harder for some people to come around to the idea, but this kind of cover art Took a lot longer than just another photo shoot. I also think that it goes very well with the theme of this album. What is the point of being negative? This is an open forum for open discussion but I think it's also very important to balance your comments or else you will come across as someone who is simply here to criticize every move Celine and her team makes.

I will definitly not take a longer look at that cover and the even more dreadful calendar. Both are simply ugly, they lack style, class and elegance. Actually everything I see in Celine.

Where do you balance your comments? You are only being negative about those who state their opinion. And personally I really don't give... about how I come across to people like you.

I am here to read other people's opinion and to state mine.

If you wanna be on a pink cloud, suit yourself but don't attack those who are here to speak their mind.

I never implied that I didn't want to give my money to Celine, I'm so over those childish games. I just said, speaking for myself, that I don't need to buy something I don't like. So I'll probably just download it legally. I only wrote this comment to express my deception because I'm passionate about design and conception. And it kills me to be so deceived because it's my favorite singer's first album in 5 years. I usually pay much attention to packaging, that's all.I'm even more disappointed because Vu Intégral did such an amazing job for On ne change pas and D'elles. I'm wondering wether they came up with this idea or they just did hat they were told to.
