I like the new french album. I like all her french albums, especially the eighties. I preordered Sans attendre deluxe edition and Kaas chante Piaf on amazon.fr!

I dedicate this post to Ne me quitte pas and the duet with Henri Salvador... Two songs who are declared as boring by some users here...

My first thoughts about NMQP in Las Vegas weren't positive. But the studio version sounds great and fits the album. I think the french language is made for songs like NMQP. The whole album seems to be really "french". Like there are typical italian songs in italy and typical german songs in germany. If she would record the songs in german, polish or even in english it would not be that good. For example, 1 Fille et 4 types is a french album, but it was not typic (but still one of her best french album). So i really like this vibe. Same for the duet with Henri, nice instruments, slow, 2 good voices - you just have to enjoy this kind of songs.

Based on what I've listened to from the clips, the middle of the album is wonderful!!! The beginning and end don't jump out immediately. However, it's clear that this is a different Celine (and Celine album) both in voice and feeling. And I personally like it...quite a lot.

One nitpicky thing though, it seems that they auto tuned NMQP to a degree? AN OUTRAGE. Un chance qu'on sa sounds amazing...but Celine/Jean Pierre should've recorded it earlier on, Pierre doesn't seem to be vocally complementing Celine (or keeping up with her strength).

I hope this album grow in me...

I think NMQP as a song is a masterpiece but i don't like the preview of Celine's recording. it sounds a lot like her "Las Vegas" version and maybe even worse. its the preview that stood out in a bad way when i heard them all. hopefully i'll change my mind once i hear the whole thing

that said, i love the way she uses her voice on this album and the direction they've taken but i do miss JJG :P i hope and believe that the album will be well received from the general public and critics, we'll see...

to those who don't like Veneruso much, don't forget he only gets writer's credit on 2 songs (one of them being Parler a mon pere)

Based on the 30 second clips, I am incredibly excited for this new album. It feels different, yet still very much CELINE. There are little pockets from all the eras of her career -- which I wasn't expecting. So lovely. I'm thrilled that Celine still records albums after all these years. :-D

i just listened to the previews again, ok her NMQP isn't as bad as i presented it above and i thinki will LOVE this album

Luc Plamondon offers one very moving song once again, hopefully we'll get the full album with his songs we were promised before

Que toi au monde reminds me Ma nouvelle France ;) I think it's the most personal album in her career. As Celine and Rene said its a VIP pass to listen Celine. I wish to have more mid tempo songs as the last one Les jours comme ça ;), anyway we are going to fall in love with this album, deep lyrics.

I hate to join on the Veneruso dislike bandwagon, and I don't think he's bad...his songs with Celine just doesn't fully capture me and it never seems to have like the emotional depth of a JJG song. D'eux, SSD, even half of 1F4T are still my favorite. Actually I've been listening to Incognito a lot more than ever lol

Here's my opinion.. musically talking because unfortunately.. I don't understand french...

01: Parler à mon père: A very great opening... each time I hear this song again... I love it more. It has a very special rhythm that get's stuck on your mind... Great great!

02:Le miracle- hahahaha.. I like it too!! It's very in the way of the cover.. hahha.. a happy song that makes you smile. a very surprising chorus... lalalaalaaaaa... hehehe ;-)

03: Qui peut vivre sans amour?- This is the kind of things that I don't like in Celine albums... it's like out of the style.. listening to track 1 and then 2.. and then this kind of metal songs with that guitars and violins. this kind of opera rock.. kind of gothic.. for me it's like a kick in the #ss.. takes me out of the album at this moment... This is one of my candidates to be from the very first moment out of my mp3 player...

04: L'amour peut prendre froid- I don't get it still... it's soft and interesting but probably I have to listen to it more, but from this moment it's out of the web... ¿?

05: Attendre- I like it, it reminds me the "A Cause" instrumental version.

06: Une Chance qu'on s'a- Wonderful... I could only expect a beutiful song and this is what I found. A very elegant and classy song. Vegas version could be possible?? hahaha no.. only in my dreams... I will never understand why they want a orchestra if they don't pick the most instrumental songs... but this is another topic.. hahaha

07: La Mer et L'enfant- Perfect! Probably my favourite.. I simply love the accordion. It gives to the song that wonderbul melancholic touch.

08: Moi Quand je Pleure- Such a curious song! love it, it's fresh and unusual in Celine. Love the base. I think this song it's going to give wings to my imagination every time I will hear it... Great song!

09: Celle qui m'a tout appris- It sound me a little bit repeting.. some kind of deja vú with other songs... very normal.

10: Je n'ai pas besoin d'amour- Another great songs... I like it... it's like a hug.. hahahahahhaha.. un petit petit petit petit...

11: Si je n'ai rien de toi- In a lower level, a little bit lost in this tracklist... I don'tknow.. maybe listening the whole song..

12:Que toi au monde- Maybe I'm mistaken.. but this Plamodon touch... this is the most Celine french album style song... I like it, it reminds me the first albums...

13: Tant de temps- Another classy song. Great one! an Orgasm to the ears... wonderful...

14: Les petits pieds de Léa- Great, very magical, I thought it was going to be more dramatic... it's a kind of lullaby..

15: Ne Me Quitte Pas- The jewel of the crown. a Masterpiece... This song it's perfect, it was perfect the original.. it's perfect the Nina Simone cover, it's perfect the Frank Sinatra one, even it's perfect the Flamenco version of one spanish singer called Estrella Morente with her spanish french accent... I thinkthis song suits perfect if you are a great singer, so, Celine you are one of them... somebody doubt it??? I'm anxious to hear the complete full quality version, to put it in a high volume and all the neighbourhood listen to it.. hahaha

16-Le jours comme ça- ¿???? This should have stay in that sony drawer of songs never realesead.. who needs to hear something like this when you have already hear Ne Me Quitte Pas...

In conclusion..it looks good this new album.. with great great songs and other normal songs.. but I think it is very consistent in her style. In my opinion this is a very good step in Celine's career. An album that tries to go in the same direction... except the track 3, all the songs go more or less in the same line... Excited! Hope the english one is similar...

I knew that song reminded me of another track and just couldn't pin point what one and it's been bugging me - then I read your post!! Yes that's the track it reminds me of.

That's what I'd call a download!

I think that we will have to listen to the whole album...

The clips are very short... I think the album will grow on me because, so far, lots of the tracks sound too similar, in my opinion...

The songs that stand out (imo) are NE ME QUITTE PAS, LES JOURS COMME CA and PARLER À MON PÈRE...

But at the end of the day, it is all a question of taste

RIVER DEEP, MOUNTAIN HIGH - OH HOW I LOVE YOU BABY!

I only listened to one snippet and that was because I really like what people were writing about it.

Les jours comme ca sounds fantastic.

It is very likely to become my favourite song from this album, just like Les temps qui compte or contre nature from the albums before.

Et la vie glisse sur l'eau du temps

La vie resiste, prend son elan

Pour un baiser elle peut se poser

Le temps qui compte est toujours compte

Is funny how our opinions are exactly the opposite. I'm begining to like the album. I think Si je n'ai rien de toi will be my favorite and I'm gonna hate Tants de temps and Que toi au monde. I hate Plamondon. Thank god this is the only song of him.

(sorry for my poor english)

I never said i was taking ur post personally

Neither did i say u were not entitled to ur opinion. Pls dont put words in anybodys mouth.

What i simply said and will say again.. "then dont buy the album then. Simple as that."

Chill... ur taking things too seriously :-)

I don't understand why you're all taking this personally.

this is a discussion board. I

am allowed to tell my opinion, yet somehow some of you take the fact that I don't like the songs, as if I said something bad at their own mother..

Can somebody tell me why there is no full track list of deluxe edition on amazon.co.uk or it is just an error without any difference in accordance to other editions like french, etc.?

P.S. Sorry, I haven't been collecting info. for so long.
