I like all of them as I heard this preview, my favuorite: duo with Hallyday, Attendre, Je n´ai pas besoin d´amour, Qui peut vivre sans amour, Les jours comme ca - could be single so I don´t understand why it´s only bonus track.

If you click on the individual songs of the album, you will be taken to a page with the lyrics, and right above the lyrics will be a video player with the preview of the song!

I was pleasantly surprised by the new preview tracks as well, and I showed them to my French-Canadian friend, and he loved them as well! We're both excited for this new album, in fact he's buying two copies of it! I wish the English-speaking music world was more familiar with this side of her, and can see the real depth to her music. Long live Celine! <3

Thoughts on tracks

 

1. PAMP -- Already know, but I like it. Not really single material though.

2. Le Miracle -- Sounds like an uplifiting melody. Love the "Nananana" in the background. Gives it an upbeat 60s vibe. Could be great!

3. Qui peut vivre sans amour? -- Beautiful! I love the sound. Celine is so, so, so very good with heavy rock vocals. Makes me wish she would do an Evanescence - Fallen style metal album!

4. L'amour peut prendre froid - Sounds like a really pretty duet. I like what I hear. My mom will love it. lol

5. Attendre -- I think the lyrics to the song could be to the fans of this forum. More on that in a sec...

6. Une chance qu'on s'a - another one that my mom will love.

7. La mer et l'enfant - Boring musically, but the words and the meaning are deep, which makes it likable if you understand French.

8. Moi quand je pleure - her voice sounds younger here, and again, there are 60's vibes to this. And it has a really old cartoony feel in the background music. A little quirky. Interesting.

9. Celle qui m'a tout appris -- interesting. I like this reflectionary song. Sounds like it could be good.

10. Je n'ai pas besoin d'amour -- Beautiful. I hear the "droplets" that we hear in the beginning of PAMP.

11. Si je n'ai rien de toi -- again, interesting. Not sure how I feel. Lyrics are cool.

12. Que toi au monde - Heartbreaking.

13. Tant de demps... Zzzzz.

14. Les petits pieds -- Sweet but... not my thing.

15. Ne Me Quitte Pas -- Love it, but it's not much different from what we hear in the bootlegs of the show.

16. Les jours comme ça -- Upbeat, I like the tune. Good way to end the album. I'm glad it didn't end with "Don't leave meeeeee." lol

 

Now, here's why I thought Attendre could be addressed to Celine's fans. lol

Oh my God. This is good. I mean, better than I expected and I expacted a lot!

 

I just listened to Les petits pieds de Lea and read the lyrics and it made me cry. And I don't cry because of songs. So much emotion.

 

I'll write the rest of my impressions after I pull myself together again.

Guys, only with 30 sec I realize that this is her best french album since D'eux!

I loooove all the songs, and most of them cut just when are going to explode!!

Can you imagine then, the WHOLE songs?

 

The mood is very french, is just like an autumn sunset in the streets of Paris,

If I had to describe the album, would be that way.

Very deep lyrics, the voice of Celine is just blowing away, full of feeling

All the atmosphere is obscure, nostalgic, melancholy, things that I loooove

 

This album is going to be EPIC!!!!

Yes... when something is that close..you can't resist, so I finally listened;

 

I did not like the third song - Qui peut vivre sans amour ? - it is the monotone melody, even though they are strings in the background, I wanted to skip it. Le Miracle is nice and of course Je n'ai pas besoin d'amour. I love that melody> as far as the rest is concerned of this album. There is definately a lot of nice on the album, but as usual new albums have to grow on me. So I wait until I have the whole album in my hands!

I just can't get over Les Petits Pieds de Lea I mean, I read the lyrics and even with my lousy high school french I understood them. There's only a couple of weeks left. We've waited 5 years, no point spoiling my enjoyment of the new album experience now. I'll be glad I waited when I have the new album in the stereo and I'm hearing it in all it's glory for the first time. But horses for courses, this wouldnt be what I'd do for other artists releases, but when it comes to Celine I prefer to do it properly.

Besides it's also fun to hear what other people are thinking now, though all these amazing reviews are making it even harder to resist.
