Taking Chances World Tour CD/DVD Release Thread

So I received a shipping confirmation from CDWOW that an "unknown" item has been shipped. It should be the French Concert version, but it is weird that when I click on it, it says "unknown item" and when I look for it on the site it does shoe the CD but says that it is unavailable at the time... anyone else having this problem? Same with the CTTEOTW Film, says it has not been released yet, although it says 3rd of May on the site... last time I ordered from there, I'll probably receive something really different...

^ The audience connection was better than Vegas was mainly because she didnt have much connection with the audience in vegas, everything was scripted, but in this tour it was more free style, (Im glad you liked it )

I Called Best Buy in My Area and GOOD NEWS!! The lady told me to call in and ask the staff to hold copies of the releases on Tuesday because they are getting many phone calls about this and its execpted to be gone fast, she told me that ONLINE shoppping at Bestbuy.com have sold many, many of these already... And that she has worked at BEST BUY for such a long time and she has never seen the Pre-interest in any Concert DVD than these ones being released tuesday!!

So Just in Case if anybody wants to shop at best buy when they are released she told me to call in the store at 10am when they open to reserve copies before they are all GONE!!!

( i gotta feeling that this will sell more than ANDLILV )

I have the same "unknown" change in my order now, but only with the "pending despatch" status :doh: :pinch: What the hell is going on there? Of 2 items out of 3 that I ordered, one wrongly changed the title and description for an artist CD I don't know, and the french CD/DVD is now listed as "unknown"? :angry2:

Enough of this with those guys. I already told them to cancel my full order.

Same to me now Davey! They just sent me an email confirming the despatch of this "unknown" item, which I hope is the french CD/DVD :hmm: If you click on it you will see nothing in the description of the item, but if you look for the french concert, there it is, but still "Unavailable for purchase at this time". I don't understand anything :doh:

maybe they mispriced it, and it's actually more expensive than 11 euros, and they will send out the old orders, but relist it at a higher price? :shrug:

I just want to ask one question without getting all confused reading through this topic. Is celinedion.com the only place to get the Celine: Through The Eyes Of The World Deluxe Edition? I haven't found it anywhere else.

I want to know because if there is another place that I can get it for cheaper, I would like to go that route. I want the deluxe edition first and can always buy the concert cd/dvd any time I want. I want the most for my money and want the dvd stuff first.

:laugh: Quite funny. Im exactly investigating about those formal and informal inputs,forms in language that native and non native english speakers use. They're definitely the second group that make cardinal mistakes by not adding plural -s. Funny :laugh: . Well, im kidding, but who knows where their mind was while they were making this :laugh:

Has anybody seen any commercials for the DVDs yet? They have been showing an ad here on TV for the last couple of days for the movie. They basically just show a clip from ''I'm Alive''. I think it is a bit misleading for the average fan that is not so clued up with everything. They make it sound like it is the concert. All i can say is WOW, How amazing is that?? Today i recieved the Ultimate Box and the CD/DVD!!!!

I can say the packaging is cheap and the booklet is terrible.... But the DVD, the concert.... Wow wow wow it is a dream! They filmed it so well. The way of filming this is way better than for AND DVD. The Audio is amazing, Celine sings amazing, she looks erotic, hot as hell and i loooooove it. Wow! Today is Celine Day :-D :w00t:

After watching the (finally FULL) recording sessions of Taking Chances and then the concert after 2 years of wait, i really look like Celine in my Screen :laugh: hahaha i'm done :sofunny:

You think? I've listened both with and without earphones and I think it sounds "dull"/"flat" somehow... Doesn't sound clear enough, can't really explain it... (I was watching/listening to a BD concert the day before so I probably got spoilt)

For me it sounds great. But i am sure the BD sound will be even better. Maybe the BD sound will satisfy you :thumbsup2:

After 4 days of my montreal version sitting in Belgium because of the no fly zone, my sister has just called to say that she has signed for the package!!!! So excited just two more hours of work, a quick stop on the way home to vote in the election and then I will finally have it in my hands!! That should keep me going until the Boston version and the movie comes out over here on Monday!!!

i Dont think i can hold out on youtube for much longer, i haven't seen any videos yet!!, im surprised i lasted this long i dont know if i can last the last 5 days, Usually i dont have this problem because its released in the US earlier but we got gipped with this release, like the last country to receive it.

come on you have waited almost 3 years you can wait 5 more days lol

I am hanging in there, too. I might have made a few extra stops while running errands this morning to check the local stores just to make sure it wasn't already on the shelves ^_^

lol... we are the last ones in germany :clap: thats really frustrating... Nobody should complain that the people are loading stuff illegally from the internet if the let us wait so long :whistling:

No, it will come earlier. They sent my copy this monday and it should be here by tomorrow. Well, Germany is much more closer than my country even it doesnt have to mean anything when is about post, but im sure ull have it soon :msn-wink:

Do we have news about the similarities/differences between the french concert and the english one? I had a look at the french section and they say that PQTME, My Love, and MHWGO are different from the Boston concert. Also Taking Chances, but its not 100% sure

Does anybody have both concerts now?
