I think they took it off their shelves~! I was there around noon during my lunch break and there were a bunch!....I went back again today and not one copy existed!?! Did they figure out it's not released til next week? My friend who works at Best Buy says it's already shipped in stores...They just can't put it out but sometimes a dumbass associate would put stuff on the shelve early accidentally! I know for sure this is true because I bought LTAL before the November 18th released date! hehehe

why didn't you buy it earlier?

Got my email confirmations today saying my dvds from Hmv are in the post. Really hoping they arrive at the weekend so i can watch them!!!! Sometimes things arrive a few days earlier, like the last Harry Potter dvd i got friday before it was released on the monday. Fingers crossed!!!!

1) Is this something that comes with some of the other dvds or do you have to buy it separately?

 

2) Or is this maybe another version of C:TTEOTW and this cd is only on that version?

 

3) What's on it?

maaan I should have stayed with HMV, screw CDWOW!

 

I ordered with CDWOW because they had the french CD/DVD and at a very cheap price (9.99 GBP) but now I'm regreting, they still have my order in "not yet released" status

 

But how HMV shipped your orders already? They have all the Céline releases to appear the 10th may

I already cancelled my order with CDWOW, and they had refunded me.

 

But I can't find any button to cancel my order! I contacted the customer support to cancel the item that they wrongly changed in my order and I guess I have to email them again to cancel it? That sucks

 

So can I ask you where have you ordered? Any suggestion about where to order the french CD/DVD? Is there any other website that can equal their price of GBP 9.99 for the french CD/DVD? Because Amazon.fr and fnac are so so expensive

I have received e-mails from both amazon fr. and hmv to say my orders are on their way but with the ash cloud situation in N. Ireland and flights being grounded again I don't know if i will have them for the weekend. As if i haven't waited long enough!

yup my order has been sitting in Belgium since Monday night because of the ash cloud, it's do depressing to see the order still there, there isn't even any point in re-ordering from CDWOW or HMV because the post can't even get over from England

 

i just hope store stock has been shipped, i don't want to arrive in store on Monday to be told there's no Celine till we can fly the stock over!

Ugh. This is indeed annoying. I ordered 3 day shipping on Saturday and it's now Wednesday and it hasn't moved from its position in Orleans, France. I love Orleans, but I'd rather be THERE with my package.

I spoke to my local HMV tonight, and he told me I would more than likely be able to pick up my copy on Monday, and that the DVD's should be there as most of their stock arrives via ship

 

He said the delivery was due tomorrow, but I have no chance of getting it before Monday. Oh well!

So Iv seen TTEOTW finally yesterday night thanks to the most awesome man ever! hahaha You know whom you are!

Anyway, I really enjoyed it alot. I had heard the CD before and was very happy on some songs indifferent on others, and was completely dissapointed in others.

 

Like, It's a Mans World. I didn't like it. But, when you see her sing it in TTEOTW I loved it! Same with Alone. I think that when just listening to audio, you automatically expect it to be perfect because you dont associate it with a live recording, you dont associate that it's coming out of a womans mouth in front of 15 thousand people. It's almost like the songs are a rosebud and Celine is the stem, the rosebud just sitting there is wierd, but with the stem it's beauty and perfect and it just works and flows perfectly.

 

I really enjoyed the movie, and I giggled so much when they all were going in the lion enclosure and they say for them to go in, and Celine rushes in all excited and Rene and Rene Charles are acting like *look at these crazy people expecting me to go in there!* ahaha they of course do, but Celine is 10 feet ahead of them xD

And when they are in the truck on the safari, and the Lion roars or whatever, and they all are looking like they've wet themselves xD That was very awesome to see their reactions to those types of situations.

And when she was walking and the bodyguards were pushing her around, you could see her face, she was PISSED. She even gave one of em a evil glare xD *Your small but thats okay* hahahaha I love her

 

And when she chased around whats her faces korean child around the dressing room and out, that was so beautiful and such an amazing moment =D Thats CELINE. When I think of her personality, she is just so mothering and playful and beautiful inside and out. =]

So I just got my Taking Chances World Tour dvd wasn't expecting it but my mom got it for me today and I am half way through watching on my Blu Ray with 5.1 surround sound system and it's just totally amazing feels like your in the actual venue. As for the re-recording I don't mind them at all heck I'm loving how everything sounds.

Yeah tell me about it.. i overslept this morning.. i should have gone up at 10.. but woke up 12 instead and threw my self on the first buss and went to rocks in malmö and they didn't have it.. i already talked to them via mail and they said they had it today.. (åkte runt i hela stan och letade som en galning) and i finally found it after 2 hours, at skivlagret on jägersro.. i've already watched the concert two times today woo (tillsammns kostade dom 378 kr, som hittat!!)

Quick question. On the DVD for CTTEOTW does it include the 3 hour version & the directors cut version? I've noticed that the 3 hour version doesn't include the part where Celine visits the chocolate factory in Belgium and some other parts that were in the Cinema version. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks

I just want to ask one question without getting all confused reading through this topic. Is celinedion.com the only place to get the Celine: Through The Eyes Of The World Deluxe Edition? I haven't found it anywhere else.

 

I want to know because if there is another place that I can get it for cheaper, I would like to go that route. I want the deluxe edition first and can always buy the concert cd/dvd any time I want. I want the most for my money and want the dvd stuff first.
