Can anyone confirm exactly which tracks were re-recorded (and no this isn't opening a can of worms to argue about)? I listened to the clips on Celinedion.com and from what I can tell, TPOL is the only one that is noticeably different? What about TLYM (I heard it was but doesn't sound like it from the clip), IACBTM, MHWGO, and IDAN?

i wonder when did she take the time to re-cord all these song and how it must sound if it wasnt done live in front of an audience mixed in with the audience applause etc, can somebody explain.

I just would like to ask if someone from Malaysia know whether the DVD is already out in Malaysia.

I check majaor retailers at KLCC and Pavillion and the store person seems clueless.

 

Please advise if the DVD is out.

I just watched the concert and I am lost for words, I LOVED every second of it . I am totally emotionally drained from all the different emotions I felt in those 100 minutes. From the moment the opening intro started I was transported back in May 2008 when I saw the shows. It was definitely worth the wait. The editing is amazing, Celine is bursting with energy almost the entire show and there is such an amazing connection with the audience from the beginning 'till the end. Besides missing the a cappella intro, I have nothing but praise for this wonderful release. I just hope that it will get blu-ray release too eventually. In my opinion, this dvd is light years ahead of Vegas dvd. It's so much better edited and has more "soul". While I liked certain parts of Vegas show (especially RDMH) I always felt that something is missing and I couldn't feel that vibe from Celine and audience that is present on this dvd. I don't even know which performance is my favorite because there are so many amazing moments (IDAN, EOM, IA, FA, RDMH, TSMGO...). Even Love Can Move Mountains is so much fun here and that was pretty big surprise for me since I'm not a fan of that song, especially the way it was performed for the last 10 years . Even as I type this, I'm thinking of watching it again and I can't wait. I'm so happy I'm gonna explode . I still can't believe that I actually watched it after all the waiting. It's such a great moment to be Celine fan and I wouldn't change it for anything .

I Called Best Buy in My Area and GOOD NEWS!! The lady told me to call in and ask the staff to hold copies of the releases on Tuesday because they are getting many phone calls about this and its execpted to be gone fast, she told me that ONLINE shoppping at Bestbuy.com have sold many, many of these already... And that she has worked at BEST BUY for such a long time and she has never seen the Pre-interest in any Concert DVD than these ones being released tuesday!!

 

So Just in Case if anybody wants to shop at best buy when they are released she told me to call in the store at 10am when they open to reserve copies before they are all GONE!!!

 

( i gotta feeling that this will sell more than ANDLILV )

I'm gonna be a creeper at Walmart next Monday night... Prob be the only one! ahahaha wouldn't be the first time! And then I can't buy anything because I already pre-ordered it alllll.

 

Me too! Since I didn't pre-order anything, I'll go so far as to ask (and then if they don't listen then I'll demand) that they put them out.

Since I don't hav a car I have to wait until after my class the tuesday it comes out. My friend Jenny is going to be picking me up right after class and we are going to wal mart and I'm buying TC DVD and TTEOTW Not really worried about it being sold out, there are two wal marts I can go to as well as best buy because I got some extra money from my dad today so I have 55 bucks so if its more at best busy I can probably still get both if its sold out. The reason I'm not worried about it being sold out is Huntington WV isn't a place your gonna find many Celine fans at. I mean I bought my tickets for TTEOTW way early and there were only 4 or 5 other people in the theater. IF I had to I could go to the wal mart in Hurricane which is an hour from where I live but I dont think I could get anyone to drive me that far I'll just get my copies at wal mart like planned

 

Jenny is taking me to buy it since we are making a night out of it and watching the dvds at her house and fixing dinner my friend Miranda who went to Columbus with me to see her in 08 is coming to watch them too! I'm excited! Jenny is even taking off work Tuesday and going in on evening shift Wednesday so we can stay up late to watch them!

Really? There's hardly any promo for these releases. The CTTEOTW DVD is only $9.99. Too bad they won't have the deluxe version out on the same day.

I've had Best Buy hold things for me previously, so they definitely do. If you call ahead they will take one off the shelves for you.

For French Canadians that live in Montreal, it's best to get it from archambault.ca or archambault the store becoz the CD/DVD is 15.99 CDN$ and the movie DVD is 9.99 CAD$ whereas everywhere else it costs more.

I watched the DVD yesterday, i was blown away about the energy of Celine! Great!

The happy dance i didn't know it came from the dvd (LCMM)!!!

The duet with Bocelli was beautifull filmed, but i did miss I'm your angel!

And the editing is worth waiting!

It can't be just that, cos the 3hr version includes Yuna Ito and stuff so I'm sure there are some extra scenes.

 

Also, in the cinema version I don't remember them showing Mohammed Ali in the audience before the high note. I just rembered her backstage with the music in the background, then they cut to 'anymooooooooooooore'. So maybe they cut little bits like that to make the cinema version shorter??

so i went to our local music store yesterday and battered my eyelids and sweet talked the sales lady and then some. i knew they had the dvd at the back cos she told me so LOL. but i wasn't allowed to get it as she said they were only allowed to put it on the racks on monday. i even lied to her and said there is a flash of me in it as i went to the cape town, durban and johannesburg shows. the sales people were mighty impressed about that but i still wasnt' getting it . they told me they would get into trouble if they gave me a copy as there is some embargo rights about when it is allowed to be placed on the shelves. *sigh*

I am thinking about ordering the French concert as well.. now my question is - for those who already have seen the dvd - are the english performances exactly the same ones as in the Boston concert? You would think that you can see that is a different venue?

And I am also very curious if they cut the acapella intro of IDAN in the French concert too. And since the audience of Montreal was way more enthusiastic.. can you see that in the dvd too? Or have they softened that too in this release?
