how many of you people could resist not buying a bluray player when seeing the bluray version of ctteotw? I saw both the dvd and bluray in the mediamarkt here in holland. (dvd - 16,99 and bluray - 19,99 euros) Finally I bought the regular dvd because..well I already have a dvdrecorder.. but it was very tempting to buy a bluray player! they only cost 100 euros now but maybe should wait a little longer. Well, i'd be the first on the list, but impossible. Here is very expensive to buy a good tv that supports HD resolution and a bluray player is not that much, but all is expensive still. Not even avaliable in all stores

In any way, i'll buy a BD version of TTEOTW. I already have live in LV. Haha..

That's Hong Kong Edition. The China(mainland) edition have no release date now. Hong Kong Edition always promote some music players.

Do you mean: ''Celine: Through the Eyes of the World''? That is the movie/documentary. The concert is on the Boston DVD you are talking about. That is not available in SA yet. I bought the movie today at ''Musica''. The concert is coming next week according to them.

Me too!!! Good old HMV!!!!

 

Have just finished watching the Boston dvd. All i can say is "Brilliant!" Sound was great, looked amazing, and could hear the audience at the most important times. Only things i'd change would be seeing Celine walk through the audience at the start and finish of the concert, and the acapella beginning of IDAN. Other than that - totally worth the wait.

 

Highlights: Beginning of ML, Queen medley, LCMM, IAMW, and surprisingly MHWGO - loved seeing her walk round the stage during the end part of the song and seeing and hearing the audience.

 

Think i'll watch TTEOTW next!!!

I am not sure whether it's just me. I purchased both the French and English editions, and I think that the English songs on both versions are the same. I seem to be seeing the same shots and the same people in the audience.

 

My French edition also doesn't list Eyes On Me as a track on the DVD but it is on when I watched it.

I bet you haen't been readin the forum lately.

Live in Montreal is actualy live in Monston

And live in Boston is actually live in Boreal.

 

Which means most of the songs are the same. They took the best shots form both concerts and merged them together.

 

That really sucks. What's the point of having the same performances on 2 different DVDs?

, but probably only next week. The documentary is also worth having. The parts that I have seen so far are brilliant. The documentary is already available at some ''Musicas''. I have been fighting with them since yesterday and made numerous phone calls, but I got a copy this afternoon.

Wow, can't say anything more I watched the movie yesterday, have just fininshed watching the concert and right now I'm listening to the cd! And I have to say that, to me, this movie is absolutely the best ever! I just love everything, how they've filmed it, all the concert parts, and especially, how it describes her as a person. It really shows what a sweet and caring woman she is. And the concert is breathtaking! That concert is really her best concert I think, she just grows stronger and stronger every year, and so does her voice! I love the new recording of The power of love and also all the other songs that's a little different from the original cds, like Alone, Taking chances, the remix of I'm alive and of course my favourite from TC, Fade away! And thank God they kept the little cute part in the beginning of My love when someone yells "I love you" and she says "I love you too". That's so cute and it really shows that she cares about her fans. The cd is also amazing and I love that New Mego's flamenco is a track by itself and the same when it comes to It's a man's man's man's world! I could really go on and on about this and I really can't come up with anything negative to say, so I think that all of you who are complaining about stuff should wait until you see the dvds. Then, if you have seen them and have stuff to say I can't say anything but wait till you know the real deal. the deluxe is the version we already saw; with celine and the soweto choir on the cover, contains both the movie and the concert, plus a couple of photocards, and a little booklet, probably the same booklet that came with the 1dvd version of through the eyes of the world.

If I translate, it said that the book is 52 pages, come 5 postal cards and it is clearly written that it is the Taking Chances program. For 55$, it's a good investment !

The 52 pages booklet is NOT the tour book; Celinedion.com's boutique offers the tour book w/ the Deluxe Edition as an option. That means that the tour book is not included in the deluxe edition.

It had better not be the tourbook! And yea, The Boutique offered a Deluxe package with the tourbook and the Deluxe dvd set. I will be p/od if it's the tourbook after that! I don't need 2 of thm lol

 

Someone above asked about he QVC DVD, it doesn't ship until the 11th so we won't prb et (depending on shipping) until the 16th-20th

i have also pre- ordered the deluxe edition of TTEOTW can some one clarify if the boston dvd that is included in the deluxe package is the same as the TC tour dvd?

Yes, it's the same, but without the cd
