Celine: Through the Eyes of the World, uma edição do aclamado documentário, recentemente alargado para uma edição em DVD e Blu-ray, e da digressão Taking Chances World Tour: The Concert, um DVD/CD de actuações ao vivo da digressão mundial da cantora, que quebrou vários recordes, têm lançamento agendado para 31 de Maio.

Filmado em 2008/2009 durante a digressão mundial da super estrela canadiana, intitulada "Taking Chances World Tour” (a segunda digressão mais lucrativa de sempre de uma artista a solo), Celine: Through the Eyes of the World fornece uma visão da vida real, tanto em palco como fora dele, da artista feminina mais lucrativa de sempre da história da música.

O realizador Stéphane Laporte e a sua equipa teve um acesso inédito à vida da melhor artista da década, durante os seus concertos realizados em cinco continentes, 25 países e 93 cidades, tendo vendido mais de 3 milhões de bilhetes durante a sua primeira grande digressão em 9 anos.

Who said the acapella before IDAN is missing from the CTTEOTW DVD/Blu-ray? I just wached it and it's there!

A video I saw from TTEOTW just had the second line:

I'd say that ur a bit confused now. There is no any other versions of movie or concert. On the first link it is a bluray format(is just another format) of the movie and a bit packaged differently(i think plastic case, not digipack like DVD). The other link is the concert(DVD/CD) in digipack edition too and those are only versions for now as far as i know

in both dvd / blu-ray of the movie she only sang the acapella of IDAN to get to u only once! and then it's that alright to many cities

Hopefully Play.com will post the Deluxe Edition early too! I don't know if Amazon do this, I've ordered the Blu-ray from there. Both of these don't get released until May 17 in the UK.

I got my DVD of the movie yesterday. It is brilliant, so well put together. The Vegas DVD is very special, but this one, wow, the sound of the band and Celine is extra powerful.

Now just waiting for the Bluray of the movie to come and then the concert DVD/CD. Watched it again this morning and enjoyed it more than yesterday.

Also, I have to say, I like MHWGO more on the French dvd, the editing is so much better and of course Pour que tu m'aimes encore at the end of French dvd is million times better than on English dvd, she sang it so much better and it's so much more emotional, also quite refreshing to have ONE concert that doesn't end with MHWGO .

The Concert Taking Chances World Tour THE CONCERT has not been postponed! It will be out on Monday May 10.

Only the Blu-Ray Through The Eyes Of The World and the Deluxe Edition will be out on May 17. (in the UK)

Only the Blu-Ray Through The Eyes Of The World and the Deluxe Edition will be out on May 17. (in the UK)

The French Version of Taking Chances World Tour from amazon.fr is NTSC, too!

That's really interesting and surprising. As we know, NTSC is pretty much for America, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Philippines and so on, not Europe.. By the way, i think i dont have any NTSC dvd, just PAL..

I was just about to say! My mum let me have a look to check if the DVD was the one we ordered, and I was shocked to see it say NTSC.

 

Also, I was not happy with the way they sealed it with tape! I decided to carefully remove this tape so that it wouldn't get too stuck on and rip the digipack on my birthday nexst week!

 

 

However I was pleased that the digipack is not too thin like the QVC pictures were showing. The disc tray inside is the thickest one I've ever seen! But it might be different in other countries.

 

The thickness of the UK digipack (# 886967 583039) is 1.2cm, so it doesn't look weird next to the other Celine DVDs at all, it's only a tiny bit smaller.

I hadn't even noticed that the DVD/CD was NTSC too. Strange, because on amazon.fr (and amazon.co.uk) it's listed as PAL. I know it doesn't really matter, I was just curious. Thanks for all your responses
