Today I bought my copies and I want to share some photos for you.

 

TCWT DVD/CD and TTEOTW DVD are Taiwan edition.

 

TTEOTW Blu-ray is imported by SONY MUSIC (Taiwan) (maybe it's USA edition?).

 

TCWT DVD/CD has Chinese OBI and TTEOTW DVD has Chinese cardboard around the plastic DVD case.

So... how can a deluxe edition be one if you still have to buy wayyy more to get everything????

 

If you buy the deluxe edition, you don't have the French Concert, don't have English CD and don't have the French CD

 

So basically to get really everything, you need to buy 3 items: The Movie, French CD/DVD and English CD/DVD

 

Am I rigth? (cause i don't care about pictures and certainly not about postal cards)

 

And again, does anyone know if the CD will be available on iTunes? Thanks

 

No you aren't right:

 

The Deluxe Edition is made in 2 editions: FRENCH and ENGLISH

 

If you buy D.E. in French, you'll get the French concert, French version movie

If you buy D.E. in English, you'll get the English concert and English version movie.

 

In both there're no CDs included

Yes, everything is the same except titles and subtitles as far as i know.. But that's not huge difference

Oh My!!! are you saying that if i buy any version of the movie, that i don't get to choose the subtitles that i want in the DVD menu??? Like for C:TTEOTW only English subtitles and for C:ADM only French subtitles ?? If thats true, THEY are reeeeallly cheap!!!!

 

 

No, no. I think that in both movies we have almost all subtitles. Somebody was posting here the correct subtitles we have, but i cant remember. In any way, everybody will be able to watch in english and french too So, dont worry..

On C:TTEOTW the subtitles are: Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Spanish & Thai

 

Don't know about C:ADM

 

I finally got mine TODAY, so excited now its my turn to have my celine day...I have the sound way up as well.

i got the dvd's in french and english and also the 3 hour documentary

 

Thoughts:

 

- disappointed in the literature, it was so scanty, almost like they cheapened out on the booklets.

- disappointed in the "extra" hour that they say they added. it wasnt an hour first of all and basically consisted of adding Alone and the other song that was missed out from the 2 hr. show. and a couple other incidents like when Aaron broke his foot on stage after doing the flip, and how the other guy replaced him. you dont get that extra feeling of having something extra.

-Disappointed in JULIE SNYDER!!! how she produced this. she basically took the same exact songs from the concert DVD and slapped them in between incidents on tour. and to make it worse she would use the exact same fans cheering in the audience that you saw on the concert and trying to fool the viewer into saying they are from Czech republic, south africa or what ever country they are showing at the moment.

With ALL the 800 hours of footage and recording of all the concerts (i'm sure), couldn't they use different concert footage as least to try to make the film more authentic.

but of course, Celine and family did a GREAT job in just being there and being themselves.

lol you are exactly correct and i posted here first then realized i should have posted in the negatives too so i posted there too but the last part makes it fit into both places but i must say the people are mean and nasty in the negative reviews, they make mine look like so harmless

Im sorry to dissapoint u, but u have missed the info. They delayed the BD (not the dvd) so much time ago and it is correct

Yes, looks like your right. I've checked that too. I'm not buying the dvd then the bluray next week, I'll just have to wait til the 17th!

I suppose I can still buy the concert dvd, but I was looking forward to getting them both tomorrow.

Well to be fair to celine..its not her fault that the dvd team didnt capture her vocal abilities as they should have for this release. Infact what I find a bit strange is how POL seems doctored but many other tracks are not doctored at all and some of the vocals ARENT autotuned to cover up a few wobbly notes here and there. Everyone keeps mentioning how POL sounds fixed up or autotuned..wonder why they just didnt do that to the songs that werent pitch perfect like IACBTMN or TLYM...and its also kinda curious as to how SMGO sounds amazing and vocally almost flawless and then others dont match up to that vocal quality so I wonder if the entire vocals are from just one show or a combination? Just an observation. BTW..i just watched Je sais pas from the August 15th montreal show...they should have filmed that show for the dvd! That was incredible.

I would argue that she is in top vocal shape in Au Coeur Du Stade. That DVD for me remains the benchmark DVD (I haven't seen the TC one yet) for all other live Celine DVD's to live up to. An amazing concert.

What about Live a Paris and Live in Memphis? I'd say they were vocally outstanding too!

 

But I think I prefered the sound of her voice in 1999.

As for Live in Memphis..yes at that time she was in fine vocal shape..but she can do so much better nowadays with her voice and how much stronger and powerful it sounds. Many people would say Vegas ruined her voice..not true for me. I thought her voice is Vegas and ESPECIALLY on the TC world tour were some of the best vocals I have ever heard her do. Actually I take that back..on her lets talk about love world tour in memphis..I think that was one of the best vocal performances I have ever seen her do. And she was sick! Live A Paris..I agree great vocally. Where is the thread about posting official reviews and fan reviews for the TC DVD? I would love to start reading some more reviews and hearing what people think of the new DVD!

I agree. Look at RDMH for example. During the D'eux tour they cut the high note out, and during the FIY tour Celine did a very weak note. Then, over 10 years later, she can belt the note higher than ever before!!
