how many of you people could resist not buying a bluray player when seeing the bluray version of ctteotw? I saw both the dvd and bluray in the mediamarkt here in holland. (dvd - 16,99 and bluray - 19,99 euros) Finally I bought the regular dvd because..well I already have a dvdrecorder.. but it was very tempting to buy a bluray player! they only cost 100 euros now but maybe should wait a little longer. I want the concert on dvd too!

will a bluray player work if you dont have a plasma or HD tv?

The French songs are splendid! I love her new recording of "Eyes On Me"! The emotions that come from this version of "L'amour existe encore" gives me shivers! "Je sais pas"----a tour highlight! I'll never forget the start to "My Love." Such a moment shared between artist and fans. On songs like that, she's the gem that she always has been. Of course it is. How could they not include it? They just forgot to list it on the back! One wonders with all the time it took to get this released, why parts seem so rushed and details lost.

Alex i have a question again about the dvd if you dont mind ( Or a few lol) I'm kinda doing a random survey's for my buddy in NYC who works as a radio person by PM's

On scale of 1-10, I give it a 8.5

Favourite song "Et s'il n'en restait qu'une (je serais celle-la)"

Regret: I wish they would have a DVD for each concert in their entirety (eg: All of Montréal's to only be footage of Montréal.) A little before and after footage would have been cool, too.

for the TLYM track doesn't it sound like the mixed this rehearsal audio with the already used audio...many of the notes are the same...or it was at least recorded around the same time

 

 

what's interesting is this rehearsal video with Taro Hakase from Vegas shows that she can still sing those lower register notes at the beginning really well, but the one used seems to be a bit poorer...although it's still awesome. If she rerecorded it around this time i bet it could've sounded like the original...her voice is really good here...altho for some reason the japanese tv show put it on a higher pitch

As far as the Francophone CD, we get her opening remarks after "J'irai où tu iras". Why the hell the Soul Medley made it and they cut other gems, beats the hell out of me. That'll be a "Skip" song for sure.

the deluxe is the version we already saw; with celine and the soweto choir on the cover, contains both the movie and the concert, plus a couple of photocards, and a little booklet, probably the same booklet that came with the 1dvd version of through the eyes of the world.

So you get the concert twice! ( if you ordered the concert as well)

Hey quick question...for those that have seen the concert dvd...how much of the cube screen intro do they show compared to the documentary...do they show more shots of the cube intro with the audience on the concert dvd or less or about the same as the doc? Do you see the cube coming down onto the stage like in the documentary? Thanks!
