I'm gonna be a creeper at Walmart next Monday night... Prob be the only one! ahahaha wouldn't be the first time! And then I can't buy anything because I already pre-ordered it alllll.

 

Me too! Since I didn't pre-order anything, I'll go so far as to ask (and then if they don't listen then I'll demand) that they put them out.

What does everyone think of the Alone performance from the dvd that was just posted?

 

Positives:

 

-I'm thankful to see a sneak peak of the DVD footage.

-ALONE has one of the nicest stage pictures/concepts of all the songs from the tour. I love the lighting/imagery that surrounds her during this performance.

-She seems physically into the performance - mostly at first.

 

Negatives:

 

-I don't love how her voice sounds, unfortunately. There are moments when it's really nice (of course) - but I'm not thrilled with it.

-I love Celine's goofy gestures - but some of them in this performance (such as when she kisses her thumb then gently waves it to the camera ---- it makes me skin crawl!)

when you buy the BD of TTEOTW, you get some of the songs in BD...

so it's annoying we know they exist in BD... but i'll guess they just want to wait until christmas haha

Yes thank goodness for CTTEOTW on BD, I would've been one p*ssed off little IKEA-person if they hadn't released that one at least... Only a few hours left til I get home (well I am home, but need to leave before the precious mail comes). And I think you're right, wouldn't be surprised if there's a christmas release...

This is strange. My copy of DVD/CD The Concert is made in the EU (88697689969). Same as for German market, but without any age-limit stickers. Just housed in clear foil.

I've just watched the full concert-I'm speechless! :clap:

 

What a great work they've done with this concert! Laught at the Vegas DVD of 2007, all the closeness with the audience, freshness on the stage and energy she lost in Vegas, has come back for this DVD (and tour I guess!). She's the real Céline, full of energy, happy, close to her audience and HUGE

 

I really hope this DVD is #1 everywhere, for the people will see with it who Céline Dion is No no-fan will ever say that Céline is a bore singer after watching this DVD. Its top Céline, and its top quality (the shooting is a-m-a-z-i-n-g)

I just missed some extras with the songs she performed at the beggining of the tour (Can't Fight The Feeling, That's Just The Woman In Me and ANDHC in South Africa). That and some bonus songs with the first EOM dress (red trousers) and the yellow MHWGO dress would have made this DVD perfect.

 

I just regret that she has to come back to that cold stage in Las Vegas, when she can do amazing tours like this one

But that's not the same performance as in the english Boston DVD. Will we have the same Boston performance or will they put this Montreal one?

I am! When I have to be it If something is well done, like this DVD, I will be the first to admit it, but if something doesn't work, I will complain with all my energy You'll have not seen me complain or care about playback issues like many others here, because I don't care about that as long as we had a good DVD in the end-and we have it! But cheating us with other aspects (like repeated songs in the french DVD), you'll see me complain, with all the reason Wait to see my reaction when I see that... if thats true

I glued a plastic digitray in my cd/dvd To not ruin my DVD disc. I won't use my cd so much because I always rip it to my computer, but this is the best solution for my dvd And it doesn't look like that bad

The bonus hour is pretty lame to be honest. They have mostly just stuck in random songs from the boston/montreal show to make up the hour. I still love it though.
