Is there a CLEAN opening for the DVD in the bonus features? I mean do they have the opening of celine video without going back and forth between the video intro and the public watching the video intro?

I really lie both of Boston & Montreal!!

I notice that the common songs are the same on both DVD, but I think there's a difference in ABM, am I the only one who notice!? (Also for RDMH who is incredible in Boston )

Not sure if anyone has noticed the following. I was searching the Walmart website and came across this;

it looks like it's 2 DVDs the title says "Exclusive" and it's packaged in a "super jeweled Box case" the UPC is different from the known TTEOTW.

 

Any thoughts?

So I was wondering for those that have seen the dvds of the concerts...besides the audience noise reduction, the intro missing, and just a few of the vocals..would you say this captures the essence of the concert really well? BESIDES the minor complaints..does this show off the show really well? I just saw a one minute clip of TYLM on youtube from the DVD and it was pretty fantastic..but the lip movements were off from the track but I bet thats because of youtube. It also seems the speech on the montreal dvd is LONGER..significantly longer than the boston 20 second speech..is this correct?

 

Oh yes I really think it did! besides the audience being soft during some songs, there are moments where the audience has influence, like in my love, and sometimes you hear screams in the background. All the songs are very good and live. the speech is very short, they cut the part with my mum who is 81 years old, my son etcetera.. but that's all. I think this really captures the essence of the concert. Only thing thing they could not change is the audience itself. Celine and her band are doing their very best, but as I said before, the boston audience is not the most enthusiastic audience she had. Like in Milan, people were really going wild!

Am I the only one who think the cover for the CTEOTW deluxe edition is really really good? It captures the whole essence of ".. the world". Love the colours, and I loved her white outfits on this tour. I really think they did well with this one. Like all efort went to this version.

 

It should had gone for the regular version also. Even though the regular version is really pretty and all, it is somewhat booring and plain. I think the design team went a bit tired here.

 

The concert cover... well no comments. The design team went home.

and that is not all- under the text is a black rectangle, they could have made the text transparant! this looks like a stamp now,

and indeed the text is not centrised.. that's really .. not done. However i think the spacey font they used for Celine - through the eyes works well in the movie and they keeped that style in both dvds, so that works well

yeah, it sucks because the image was very beautiful! Now I have to do my own movie, my own cd, my own covers

No, mine is still in backorder. I ordered the french CD/DVD and I guess it has to ship from France first.

Well it's quite strange because It's not so blurry on my tv! It even looked looked like hd to me

Soo true, it really looks amazing on full HDtv ;-)

Only the shots that are from the flying cameras are not that like almost bluray haha, but the 'in her face' shots are amazing!!

 

I hope they will release a Bluray of it, just to see all the details much clearer

I don't see the rectangular thing you talk about, perhaps it's coz I haven't found a HQ pic of the cover. But I think the reason the text isn't more centered is because it's centered above Céline.

 

I really do think the font is really brilliant for this release. It feels like all effort has gone to finding the best font.

 

What I see now that I didn't before: the blackened area between Céline's legs. I see the original photo and I get why they do that it gives her more focus, but still it's awkward when the people behind her suddenly disappears between her legs (see the picture, and don't interpret that sentence wrong ). They should had darkened that area, toned it, not made it completely black.
