I can't wait! 2 weeks to deluxe

 

Those last minutes are really unmaintainable. Two days ago they have started preparing my copy to be sent and im still waiting Today must be sent definitely or i'll dry up waiting

Yeaaah I have the dvd/cd!!!

yesterday we saw the movie in the cinema here!!

 

About the dvd: amazing amazing!!! The way they filmed it etc, just wonderfull!

The package: is just to cry about hahah, it feels cheap, it looks cheap, and not even talked about the booklet with 8 new pictures, it's more text over the pictures ;-) haha

 

BUT: as much i loved the whole show, on some parts I really really miss the audience, and of course you dont want to hear them through all songs etc. But sometimes it just looks like you have your tv on mute, and a cd playing... You miss a 'live' feel.

Just to give you a sample, when Celine is singing IDAN, when she is on that automatic runway (dont know the exact word) she's just holding the microfoon to the audience but you hear none. The same for when she's going up the catwalk's. You see everybody stand up, clap or whatever but you hear none.

And on other songs you hear them. But thats just a tiny point I think they could have been better. But i can live with it haha ;-)

 

And it's only fun to see Aaron and his replacement together in some songs ;-) sometimes even after each other, like EOM haha.

For people who dont know the dancers etc it isnt bothering, and I just think it's funny haha. I take that over different make-up and lipgloss

 

And now about TTEOTW:

 

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!!!!

Just 3 hours full of Celine...

Rene is just so funny sometimes lol.

I think the whole movie for me is better then the concert dvd's It captures the whole 'live feel' much better

 

The movie is for me different then I had expected, they show a lot of full songs ( and i think they are from the Boston dvd) (not all, but most of it)

If it were songs from other cities (and they have plenty of footage haha) it wouldnt bother me that much.

I wished they showed a little bit more what went under the stage during the show, wardrobe chances etc. And what they do in their free time.

You see her shopping, you see RC on a motorbike etc but that's just 20 seconds. I maybe expected more of that stuff, even a little bit more of Celine talking to the camera's, how she feels, about the tour etc. You saw that in the promo vids they had 2 years ago when they just had record the shows on dvd!!

 

And take in mind I only had seen this movie once, and i have to wait until i have it on Blu-ray to watch it over and over again. Three hours of Celine is much, so i cannot remember all... ;-)

 

But overall this movie, is AMAZING!!! They really did a really good job! The fact that this is just 3 hours of what they really had filmed I really hope that someday we get more of it... They want money, so they can have it ;-) an 3 hour edition every year

 

I said it yesterday after seeing the movie, for sure you know why you are a big fan when you watched the movie. You know why you travel around the world, just to see her, waiting at the hotel etc. Not only for her music, but also for the person behind it.

 

She is sooo funny haha, and that house in Montreal my god it's amazing!!!

When they show IAMW, they also show Celine shopping, and not the kind of shopping we do lol, just picks that shoe, that one, and that one. Then you see her car full of bags, and on the background you just hear: You know that a man makes money to buy haha.

I totally agree with Mirage; the TTOTW movie captures the tour much more than the dvd.

I am even thinking about buying a bluray player now haha!

 

and about the concert dvd;

And I was thinking about it today, and what I want to say is - I see Celine and her band and dancers perform, but the audience is sooo quied! not only their volumelevel has been lowered too much but they also look like they are watching some televisionseries.. not much movement, most of the time they sit and watch.. that was not the case here in Amsterdam that night; the people were estatic and screaming and clapping.. nothing of that here. That's what I miss. But the Movie makes everything you miss allright because the songs are almost completely there - all the (english) songs and some french!

 

TTOTW;

apart from all the music you get ( and most of it is filmed in one venue! not like said before - going from one country to the other while playing the song) you get a goofy Celine, a caring Celine, Celine loving her son and her mother and she is also someone who likes everything to be perfect and she is the one who is the boss!

 

One thing I must say is. We despised the first dvdcover of the concert. But now I finally get why this cover was chosen before! You have to see the movie to know what I mean.. When you have this movie you are already in Celine -heaven but if you want more, buy the concert as well and you have everything you wish for! this Movie is really really really really worth buying!!!!!!

no I have the feeling those performances are filmed in other venues! The soundquality is better and more audience sounds too!

those performances in the movie are louder, more reverb and the feeling of being in a live environment, whereas the dvd of the concert is more controlled ( softer audience, crisp instrumentals, less reverb ). I definately want that TTEOTW movie now!

and one thing I have to add is - the visuals - all the filming - on the concert dvd is stunning!!!! It is soo detailed and colorful and sharp!

I have a dvd of the last concert of Tina Turner in Holland, which was filmed in hd and it looks like a bluray to me! So amazing is the quality - same for this concert dvd!

yes! The english songs in Boston,Montreal and movie are all the same!

except: tpol and tlym are playback in the movie and all by myself was shown twice (2nd Time in pheonix - playback)

Those aren't tigers, but lion cubs. To be more precise, I think those are actually white lion cubs. We don't really have that many tigers in SA.

I know it is not suppose to be funny, but I can't help myself... Anyway, poor Celine, she could have hurt herself. Luckily nothing serous happened to her on stage during this tour and we can all laugh about it now...

Lol just watching the show again, but it's so funny to see.

First you see that dark haired guy from Scotland (aaron's replacement) with the short dark haired girl around his neck, 3 seconds later you see Aaron walking at the same place, with the same gril around his neck...
