yesterday when I came home I was still in awe from everything I saw in Amsterdam in the cinema. I put the dvd in the dvdplayer and watched it fast.

 

MY FINAL REVIEW

ok.. now I have completely seen the dvd!!!! it is amazing! First I thought the sound is other than the movie.. but I must say I was wrong!

all you need to do is - plug in your best headphone, I used a sennheiser, pump up the volume, pump up the bass, and treble and you experience the whole concert again! It is like you are there again! With headphone on I heard the audience sometimes, the music is crisp and the drums are great! It is one * of a dvd!!! Freaking fantastic! Maybe a 5.1 surroundset will do too! Yesterday when I saw it in cinema I was overwhelmed by all the songs and the sound. Well get that same sound too! It is really really worth it! WOW!

I heard some people complaining about some songs, yes the acapella idan part was cut, but for the rest... everthing is there;

the high note in Fade Away, the chestpumping, the beautiful Power of love version, amazing mhwgo with all the lights, crisp version of My Love, show must go on is estatic with really loud bass and drums. Alone has adlibs and she really uses her voice so fantastic and same for

So what performances in the movie are different from the concert?

I thought it was different too......on the concert DVD, she yells more....I immediately said after watching the DVD performance that I like the movie version more.

 

Anyone else remembers if both are different (or the same)?

And I was thinking about it today, and what I want to say is - I see Celine and her band and dancers perform, but the audience is sooo quied! not only their volumelevel has been lowered too much but they also look like they are watching some televisionseries.. not much movement, most of the time they sit and watch.. that was not the case here in Amsterdam that night; the people were estatic and screaming and clapping.. nothing of that here. That's what I miss. But the Movie makes everything you miss allright because the songs are almost completely there - all the (english) songs and some french!

I think the lady in the audience at the second half of this performance says it all:

. You'll know which lady I mean (between 03:04-03:42). I love to see this. This is how everyone should act. Really makes my smile stay on.

I think there was 7 and maybe 8 if you count the qvc edition of the movie with the bonus live cd. and is the through the eyes bluray edition only the english release? thanks ,merci,danke

I the theatrical version, a studio version of Céline's show must go on was used at the end of the movie !!!!

Adn everybody said the movie version of IAMW was better and TPOL was not playback! Am I crazy?

i think the concertdvd is ending abrupt, it would have been better if you see her leaving the stage through the audienc, just like ACDS...

@ LCMM, she is walking up the catwalk, with 2 dancers behind her, aaron replacement, you see him go to the right behind celine, and then he goes to the left as Aaron

 

EDIT: thats almost 52 new pics in the booklet of the movie ;-) i think we know now wich pictures will be in the 52page booklet that goes with the Deluxe ;-)

Haha They're really funny with billion technical errors I cant believe what (literally said) trash (sorry for inconvenience) they have made to sell, but in any way i'll buy this cute trash

f***!!! How could I miss her?! I was talking about the woman to her left (our right), who is about to tip over the railing in excitement.

 

And in the same frames we have an example of how not to act on a Céline concert: they guy in white shirt coming back to his seat - move, but move on your spot, like the ladies mentioned above.

but I love those songs in all, with or without flaws... like said many times before: Céline is only human! And after seeing the movie, seeing all the pain and suffering Céline had to go through, people with complaints should just shove it!

It is fan made, it was made by Leanne on our forum. Although I suppose it's an honour to have it used in an official release, I guess they would have printed it with standard text like they normally do but since the font is there and it's so cool they probably thought it was a good idea to make her letter look more personal.

Excuse me?? :blink: Wasn't that font created by a member of this forum?? Are you telling that Sony Music used that font for this release and they didn't credit the author of it?
