Taking Chances World Tour CD/DVD Release Thread

omg CDWOW has changed my copie of the english concert in my order status for another different CD (TAYLOR & THE COATTAIL RIDERS HAWKINS - Red Light Fever [CD] ) :doh: What are they doing? I hope that's an internal error or that they uploaded that album with the same reference as the Celine one, because if not they're doing a mess!

 

I've just emailed them regarding this problem, I hope they fix and realize about this soon! Anyone has the same problem in their order status at CDWOW?

CDWOW just sucks.

WTH, when I placed the order, it clearly write released on May 3, and ship within 5 days. I want to cancel my order now.

 

I so regret I tried to order from CDWOW again.

 

I cancelled my order for CTTEOTW but kept the order for the French concert because it was so cheap.

 

30€ is cheap for u?? Haha, great then. Well, i dont know where did u order, but if from amazon.fr, that's really expensive

 

CDWOW got it for 10£ + free delivery worldwide so that is cheap

I ordered too but I'm afraid that I won't get it...

Don't know if I should cancel it or not.

So I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and walked into my local HMV today after work and there were BOTH the Taking Chances CD/DVD AND the "Through the eyes of the world." I totally thought they were out NEXT Tuesday. I almost tripped walking by. But I got the both of them!!!!

1) Is this something that comes with some of the other dvds or do you have to buy it separately?

 

2) Or is this maybe another version of C:TTEOTW and this cd is only on that version?

Does anyone have any contacts at any of the big stores here in the US (Walmart, Best Buy, Target, etc.)? We're a week away and I'd love some news that it's out early in the States but the only way we're going to get that news is if we have people actually in the stores. I CAN'T WAIT ANY LONGER! Is it Tuesday yet?

Early, I can't see it being released early and I doubt you could buy it at midnight either, I know certain movies like twilight will be released and sold at midnight but the Celine dvds wont be put out on shelves till Tuesday morning most likely. Its listed on the website, so they should have it in stores. I don't see why they wouldn't. I've looked up several items on the store site and went in and found them in the actual store here. I just want to know if there is any difference between the 14 dollar TTEOTW and the 24 TTEOTW. The TC CD/DVD is only 14 dollars and I got enough back from selling my books to buy the 24 dollar TTEOTW and the 14 dollar CD/DVD of TC.

 

Edit: I see the reason for the ten dollar price difference. The 24 dollar TTEOTW is blu ray. Won't be buying that, I don't have a BR player.

 

Anyone good with math? I'm not. I have 46 dollars and some change saved, if I buy the TTEOTW for 14.88 and the TC CD/DVD its listed at 17.88 what will the total be with tax? Just adding it up its 32.76 but thats not including taxes.

 

do you know what sales tax rate you have where you are? in FL it's 6.5% which would be $2.13 extra - you should be fine.

 

I ordered everything online since I had gift cards, who knows when it'll show up. I'll probably go to Walmart on the 11th to pick up TTEOTW there (I preordered the BR)

I think its 6 percent sales tax from what I found online. I used an online tax calculator and got the price I mentioned above.

I've just watched the full concert-I'm speechless! :clap:

 

What a great work they've done with this concert! Laught at the Vegas DVD of 2007, all the closeness with the audience, freshness on the stage and energy she lost in Vegas, has come back for this DVD (and tour I guess!). She's the real Céline, full of energy, happy, close to her audience and HUGE

 

I really hope this DVD is #1 everywhere, for the people will see with it who Céline Dion is No no-fan will ever say that Céline is a bore singer after watching this DVD. Its top Céline, and its top quality (the shooting is a-m-a-z-i-n-g)

I just missed some extras with the songs she performed at the beggining of the tour (Can't Fight The Feeling, That's Just The Woman In Me and ANDHC in South Africa). That and some bonus songs with the first EOM dress (red trousers) and the yellow MHWGO dress would have made this DVD perfect.

 

I just regret that she has to come back to that cold stage in Las Vegas, when she can do amazing tours like this one

i live in Canada and the hmv in my city didn't have anything so my mom went to london drugs because i work, and the said it comes out May 11 someone has communication problems

Canada released TODAY execpt the blu-ray which is releasing the 17th of May

 

USA is releasing EVERYTHING Next Tuesday including Blu-ray

 

So the USA will have the blu-ray before Canada thats all

well our Local HMV here had a huge Celine Display case of the dvd and cd/dvd as soon as you come in, along with her catalog of cds on sale!

 

If one HMV is doing it, they would all be doing it cause even the security sensors as you come in the door had her poster on them advertising the new cd/dvd

ours didn't all they have coming is through the eyes of the world and they said they'd phone maybe things just got delayed here because you can type in your postal code on hmv and it will tell you the nearest location and i've got nothing around the area whatsoever and the same with londondrugs they have the cd/dvd and through the eyes of the world next Tuesday so i'll just wait i'll be an american

OMLG！I finally got my DVDs. HK released TC on 3/5, TTEOTW DVD and Blu-ray on 4/5 but I cannot see Blu-ray yesterday.
