Just great. Another lousy, disrespectful remark. If Celine ever wants to know who is slinging the most insulting and hurtful comments at herself and Rene she only has to come to CelineDionForum.com to read how many of her -fans- slam her bigtime.

I've followed this woman over 15 years, the press has been brutal to her countless times, and yet I have never once been aware of her speaking any cruel, mean or insulting words towards anyone. How very ironic that she can constantly count on fans here to direct so many verbal insults and attacks aimed at her and Rene. And everyone wants or hopes that she and Rene come here to read what fans are saying and doing?? Are you kidding? It's sickening.

It's one thing to be disappointed by a song, or appearance or hairstyle or Las Vegas, etc., etc. No big deal, I've been there myself. But the cruel and snide remarks on here directed towards Celine and husband are unnecessary and disgusting so many times. When I am on a high about news regarding a new dvd, cd, tv appearance, concert, etc. I only need to come to this forum to knock some of that joy right out of me. Not that I expect anyone to care, but it's depressing and I'm guessing I am not alone feeling this way.

This latest insult set me off, however, I'm not naiive and don't expect anything to change here. Sometimes, I sure miss the old Destin mailing list.

I have to say that I came home from work looking forward to any news from the Oprah taping...I don't post here very often since I have so many other priorities, but I love to be up on all the latest when it comes to new shows, tapings, etc. Like the previous poster, Toni, I find it very disappointing that people here can be so negative. Maybe it's an age thing...I'm 42 and don't care at all if Celine goes back to Vegas or chooses to do other things. If she does a show in Vegas, I'll be first in line to get tickets because I appreciate her talent so much! But at the same time, I value her priorities in wanting to put her family first. If she never performs another show, I still have her music on my Ipod, and I can live with that. Every song she sings is beautiful gift (I know some of you might find that a bit ridiculous, but that's the way I think of all types of music that I like.) I think choosing to sing A Song For You on Oprah was a personal choice that we should all appreciate even if it might not be your favorite. Personally, I love that song, but again...maybe it's an age thing. As for the personal comments about Rene, those are just plain rude. I know if my friends commented about my husband in that way, I would tell them to get lost. I certainly don't think anyone has the right to second guess Celine's personal life choices. She is an entertainer, but she doesn't owe anybody any explanations for what she does, how she does it, or why she does it.

 

So...thank you to everyone who offered the updates for the 10th. I'm really happy to hear the latest news, but I guess you can't please everyone!

There is one touching moment that gets lost in the excitement regarding the lady in the red coat. I'm not going to tell about it, because I think the explanation should come from one of you that were there...Hint, Hint, Elisa!

You can catch a glimpse (around 18 seconds in) of what the lady is giving to Celine and hear a tiny bit of her voice talking to Celine about it.

Just one more example of how much Celine has touched lives with her voice as well as being the gorgeous human being that she is. This touching moment is one of those times I wish could get more press or air time.

Ok, so I want to say something that is probably going to get me into a lot of sh#t... and the person will probably kill me for telling, but I have to say something now, because I find all this stuff about Vegas and the official dates very weird... I'm not gonna say who told me this, but last week when we were still trying to figure out whether or not this movie was going to play in SA, someone phoned SONY SA again, so the person ended up talking to some guy (not saying his name). Anyway, the guy said that they are still working on getting the movie here. But then all of a sudden he asked the person if he/she knew that Celine is pregnant. So obviously the person said well yeah but she lost the baby. So the dude asked: When?. The person said August. Then he said no, she is pregnant again. So I wonder where the hell he got that information from, considering everything that is going on. I mean, I'm pretty sure the guy was talking rubbish, considering she said on Oprah that they are still trying. Any thoughts?

 

Edit: Does anyone else also find it a bit weird that an employee of SONY would give a random person such information when Celine herself did not announce anything yet. I mean, the dude must seriously know how fast information like that spread on the internet... I don't know, I think it was totally weird...

And let's say that her IVF in December was a success, then I doubt she will announce it until maybe next month, so she would propably just "pretending" to be trying

Yeah, I don't know. I find all of this very weird to say the least. If she is pregnant, would she have done the Grammys, Oprah and all the other stuff she did the last two weeks though? Something else that I find weird is the fact that she told Michel in that interview that they are going to do the 5th one the same time the show airs and that there were no pictures of her in New York... I mean if she is pregnant but didn't want to say anything, why does she not just say they are still waiting for the results instead of saying that they are trying.

If celine is pregnant, which we all hope, at sometime, there is no reason why she cant do the Grammys and Oprah etc, she doesnt have to be so carefull that she cant do ANYTHING. If she is pregnant,

maybe they really want to be certain this time. Maybe she is, maybe she isnt.

Agree, I am working with two women who went through IVF and they just took few days off and came back to work.

 

It's not like she is lifting heavy boxes or something like that.
