I "met" her once outside a hotel in London. She was not speaking to anyone because it was just before a concert.

 

But I had written a letter and handed it to her then bodyguard Eric and I saw him hand it to Céline :) I even have a video of it :)

You knew about this and asked to see the video but it is on VHS so I can not show you :(

yeah it's expensive, it also has the London july 11th 1999 concert on it. It's a BAD copy though since the security was always infront of us

I always say the same thing, "I love you!" - because doesn't that really say it all in a way? :giggle: I would hope given the opportunity to speak to her for more than a few seconds, and not during a show - that I would be able to tell her what I've always wanted to. I would never forgive myself if I went, "Ooooh my God, I looove yooou!" again, and nothing else! :laugh:

 

Well, I still can't forgive myself for being a blubbery mess when I got to meet her backstage at her concert here. :ranting: :wallbash: I could not form a coherent sentence at all except, "Céline, can I have a hug?" :doh: I wished I had said more... I mean, we all probably have some speech in our head to tell Céline whenever we get the chance to meet her, at least, I know I do, but the words just disappear somehow! :blink:

I have a speech too! :thumbsup2: I've never written it an any letter or put it in any video... because I have faith one day I will be able to form words in the presence of Céline Dion! I'm getting better every time... so it's possible! The funniest thing for me is that I can talk to her, make jokes, sing back to her, etc. during a show... but put us face to face and I forget my own name. :doh: I think it's her eyes, they're so intense you lose yourself for a moment... and by the time you recover, your time is up! :blushing1:

 

 

Ashley, you are so right...

 

All I can remember from My Celine encounter are her eyes. I shook her hand and said "It is a pleasure to meet you"... and then the eyes... that's all I was able to get out.... :shrug:
