It makes me wonder - was it so difficult to start an ad compaign for them and release the movie in Europe? 'Cause it's sort of strange, showing the whole world adoring Celine and releasing it in only a few theaters for only a couple of days. I mean, why bother? Just release it as a bonus feature on the DVD then...

if Celine just wanted to show this as a gift to the fans.. they should have opened the movie in all parts of the world. This was a worldtour! and America is not the world! There are so many more countries in the world, and Celine has visit a lot of them..why not releasing this movie in all cities she has been been to? I don't get it.. I'm SO jealous to all of you guys cause you have the opportunity to see it in theaters I just can't understand why they didin't released the movie all the countries she visited during the world tour!! The tour was a big hit in Helsinki where she also visited for the first time and the tickets were sold out immediatly for the highest prices ever in Finland!!

 

Why they don't advertise the movie in general or wanna make it a blockbuster and get all the money?? The nearest place I could go to see it is London..aargh!

 

All I can do is just wait to see it DVD which at least is great It would have been nice to see it in movie only because of the sounds. We have so great 3D-movie theaters in Helsinki where the sound systems are amazing. This release sucks!

It's being shown in my country, but not my town So upset.

 

I live in a small town in Aus and for some reason they arent showing it here.

I just got home...I knew it'd be great, but it was AMAZING! They did a really good job of putting it all together. Definitely worth the wait. It was funny, and also emotional...and it still amazes me after 8 years how she can SING!

Just when I think I couldn't love her more, I do.

 

And yes, I'm pretty sure there was some footage from Czech Republic... so much to take in and I'm exhausted, I don't really remember all the details. I'm seeing it again on Monday so hopefully more will stay in my brain next time.

I was prepared to be dissapointed when the film was announced, I thought it might not be screened in Scotland. There was no tour date in Scotland and so I missed it as I didn't have the money at the time to travel to England to see the concerts. Been happily surprised that the film is being shown in quite a few cinemas (mainly ones in Glasgow and Edinburgh) and I'm going on Sunday to see the movie, can't wait.

Great movie! Favorite moment was when Celine and Rene are in their car and finally arrive home and Rene is sleeping... Celine singing "My love we are finally home, time to unbuckle and get out of the car" to wake him up. Good stuff! Only 6 people in the theater though... almost like a prive viewing hehe

I didnt like that newspaper review from the Guardian. I read it that he was making fun of her, and Rene. Now that is going to put people off from seeing the film. Its hard enough that the film has not been promoted in anyway, but to have people talking like that about it is not going to help at all.

Apart from all greatness of this movie I'm surprised that they re-recorded songs... I mean if they know that they're using playback and want to give fans sth new why can't she always sing. Now we know that they realise that "problem"

The movie was very worldly and very touching! It made you feel like you were there and that you were experiecing all that they were! There was not a huge crowd at the cinema so it made it like a private showing for the few that were there. She is a constant performer and true to her fans cannot wait to be together with her again in Vegas!
