Kyle_Jared Posted February 18, 2010 at 02:21 AM Posted February 18, 2010 at 02:21 AM Just got back from seeing the movie with my mom and dad.......there were only 12 people there ...but there was no ad in the paper at all! nor any tv spots...plus this isnt going to be a blockbuster.....at least I hope they're not anticipating that.......I mean Michael Jacksons this is it was so HUGE cause he just died! But, as for the film......it was FANTASTIC! Bravo. Mom and dad LOVED it too. My father said the time watching it just flew by. Celine, Can't WAIT to see you in Vegas!!! Quote
Cuquito Posted February 18, 2010 at 02:43 AM Posted February 18, 2010 at 02:43 AM I'll go to see the movie tomorrow, I,m very exited!!! Quote
Tyler1991 Posted February 18, 2010 at 02:47 AM Posted February 18, 2010 at 02:47 AM I am hearing that in the documentary you dont see any performances of Taking Chances or Alone.....is this true? Also are the songs in the documentary presented in order as they were in the actual show? IS RDMH, POL and LCMM in full on the documentary or just small parts? RDMH is the complete song from start to finish, POL is very short and LCMM is used in a few small parts Which part of TPOL is used? Was it "different"... Quote
lindsey22 Posted February 18, 2010 at 02:55 AM Posted February 18, 2010 at 02:55 AM Ben, were you honestly expecting this to do well at the box office? This is being released purely for fans and Sony's release strategy shows that: selected cities, selected countries and sometimes only 1 showing per city. This was never meant to top the box office charts lol.lol its funny how everybody is now calmly backing off of this films expectations. Unfortunately you are aright, there is a nice instrumental version of taking chances though. What I did want to say is, I DONT KNOW HOW THEY DID IT BUT "I DROVE ALL NIGHT" sounded Live to mewow i hope your right, i hope she re-did IDAN in the studio and dubbed it over because if they released the playback it would be suicide because AND dvd already has that version, i hope they did the same with MHWGO and TLYM and IACBTMN. Also I noticed that ABM version is different than the usual playback version from the tour. You dont hear the double "anymore" when the playback kicks in and her voice is very raw which makes it all, the better, Quote

Edwin Posted February 18, 2010 at 03:49 AM Posted February 18, 2010 at 03:49 AM (edited) AMAZING. SPOILER! --Click here to view-- | --Cliquez ici pour voir-- Lovedddddddddddddd the BYLM acapella in South Africa, her singing My Love to Rene to get him outta the car, IA (of course!!). Im really glad they included some french songs too (DAUM, PQTME(bien sur)SISDA. And of course that they ended in Omaha. The movie really portrays her as Celine: The Person. She has a terrific sense of humor. That scene in Amsterdam while she's riding the canals, hehe! Soo cute and funny! And the little exchange she has with Rene about how to say is that alright in Czech after she was already told how and he tries to 'correct' her. Ohh she also meets a very enthusiastic Italian (Sicilian girl) and as soon as Celine hears she's from Italy she starts to sing some Italian song. I think in the credits it says its d'italiano? That was really cool to hear as well. Without a doubt, I'm gonna be seeing this again. Edited February 18, 2010 at 04:05 AM by Edwin Quote

mebe Posted February 18, 2010 at 03:58 AM Posted February 18, 2010 at 03:58 AM I just saw the movie in Montreal. The room was not full (maybe 75% full). But I saw it in English. Maybe it was more packed in a French movie theater. I dont know. I went with 3 friends of mine and we all liked it very much! It was funny and touching too. I think the other people liked it too because at the end of the movie everybody clapped heir hands!!! Quote
ashley43 Posted February 18, 2010 at 04:00 AM Posted February 18, 2010 at 04:00 AM ahhh the movie was great! so many wonderful moments and i'm so happy they included more french songs.i brought two of my friends who are fans simply because of me, but clearly not as crazy as i am, and they LOVED it. I'm definitely going to see it again! including myself and my two friends, there were only 6 people in the theater, but that was totally fine because I was rocking out AWSOME MOVIE!! x x . . . Quote
Nmj Posted February 18, 2010 at 04:04 AM Posted February 18, 2010 at 04:04 AM My Little QUICK review sorry for spelling errors , i wrote it so fast! SPOILER! --Click here to view-- | --Cliquez ici pour voir--I Will try and remember as much as possible!! Started off singing IDAN of course, GREAT AUDIENCE FOOTAGE Highlights for me were:Celine and Rene going home in Canada, while arriving Celine sings "My Love" a new version lol to Rene to wake him up!! I Loved LCMM with the Choir in South Africa I Got the music in me was Great I think RDMH and IDAN and IAMW were the only 3 full songs, they even cut out the second verse in MHWGO in Omaha... I loved Celine saying she wanted a break to sit on her eggs to her doctors The little parts of Im your angel was great The Prayer was quite boring for me Its all Coming back to me - was 100% LIVE One Complaint was NOT EVEN I second of Alone was included but A Song for you was?? Also ABMS was shortend And the last complaint was the ending of the movie in the car, i think it ending showing them arrive in home (VEGAS) would have been more significant Lipping wise i was very confused because it all sounded differnt/ LIVE to me except TLYM All in all i rate the movie 9/10 Quote
CelineDionFan710 Posted February 18, 2010 at 04:05 AM Posted February 18, 2010 at 04:05 AM yea vegas one year. i loved the french songs that were in the movie all the way! Quote http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj194/CelineFan710/11_perform_gown-pg-horizontal.jpgCeline is my idol
riobeard11 Posted February 18, 2010 at 04:25 AM Posted February 18, 2010 at 04:25 AM Just got back and had an AWESOME crowd at mine! It was small, no more than 40 people, but we were all having a good time. When Celine waves during IDAN the whole audience was "driving" with her, it was hilarious. Definitely recorded over IDAN, MHWGO and ABM...but all sounded good Quote
Tyler1991 Posted February 18, 2010 at 04:30 AM Posted February 18, 2010 at 04:30 AM Which clip of TPOL did they use.....ending note??? what part? And which part of TLYM?? Quote
QueenCeline Posted February 18, 2010 at 04:34 AM Posted February 18, 2010 at 04:34 AM Which clip of TPOL did they use.....ending note??? what part? And which part of TLYM?? They showed the last note, it was re-recorded and sounded AMAZING. But TLYM sounded the same to me... but either way, the movie was SOOOOO good. Did anyone notice that they had a trailer for Kenney Chesney's tour before the movie?? Sony, the reason Celine didn't have a trailer in theaters is....??? Koolan Posted February 18, 2010 at 04:40 AM Posted February 18, 2010 at 04:40 AM I went with a couple of forum members...just got back not long ago. We didn't expect many people to show up but there were like 30 others in there. I wish they would raise the volume a little more, the sound sucked compared to the previous showings. Definitely watching it again. Quote Please support the forum by ordering through our Amazon.com referral link below. Click here to go to the Amazon homepage.
